Nesta was very intelligent player, and we should definitely have a place in the coaching system. But for the head coach, I want someone with at least a decade of experience with the top clubs.

Here's another article about this:

I can imagine Nesta being a youth coach or part of the coaching staff at senior level. Maybe he's work as an assistant, effectively replacing Tassotti (who I suspect is probably leaving this summer). That last option could give him the opportunity to learn from someone more experienced, a bit like Zidane with Ancelotti, or Ancelotti when he was Sacchi's assistant in the mid 90's.

Edit: Just read Barbara wants to redevelop Milanello to improve the training centre, but also redevelop it to make it more accessible to fans and sponsors, by building restaurants and an area for commercial events.

For the staff, she wants have modern facilities where they can play golf and have modern medical and fitness facilities.

He's probably our next head coach, at least until 2016-17, when Brocchi takes over. Then in 2017-18 it'll be Sheva, followed by Gattuso the season after, and then Ambrosini, Costacurta, Rui Costa, Kaladze, Martin Laursen... Personally I'm excited for the 2024-25 season, when it's expected that the team will be coached by Ronaldinho and his new girlfriend.

No, in all seriousness I think Nesta might be given a role as a coach further down in the club system. It would definitely be a good thing, that man really knows how to read the game.

Officially 91million loss for 2014.

It is pretty obvious something is happening somehow on the non sporting side, the football operation could not have possibly lost that much.

Here's the official translation:

http://www.acmilan.com/en/news/show/157209

Quote:The balance sheet for 2014 conforms to the norms correctly. The loss is of 91.3 million but with the usual criterias normally present the loss would have only been of 46.6 million.

Facepalm

Reading slightly more about this, it seems like Galliani was getting slaughtered in the meeting by the shareholders:

http://www.milannews.it/primo-piano/live...ani-174793

A couple of examples of what I seen are one person questioning what's going on in the club and the lack of any clarity for the future, another literally says nothing's been done right in the past few years and seems to want Galliani out.

Sounds like whoever was in the meeting (I think Galliani, Paolo Berlusconi and Barbara) had an extremely tough time.

How can this not result in resignation I have no idea. Huge farce created by Galliani and rubber stamped by Berlusconi.

This is really serious. I don't know all the details, but Milan might be heading towards bankruptcy. This is far from sustainable, and I really can't understand how this squad, without any star player, can cost so much.

It's bad, but not Parma level bad, and we're not in danger of going bankrupt. Fininvest will cover the losses, as usual. In the long run they have to turn this around of course, but I think that once we have new owners, a new stadium and are back in the CL, things will be alright again. Didn't we break even a few years ago?
