Milan Management
Maldini coming back to the club even without his soccer boots would feel like winning the 9th CL to me. Lol  Sagrin Sagrin Sagrin

Seriously, the atmosphere in the club will def change because one of the legends is around.

"Milan: Galliani out in September"

Seems like September 12th will be Galliani's last day in Milan. Hopefully we'll see people like Maldini and Albertini back at the club soon.

Too bad this current mercato is "dead" though. If there's too much damage done by January, there will be two more seasons without European competitions which will make it harder to attract top players.

Also some news on who could come in

Tuttosport also says Roberto Bigon (previously of Napoli and now at Bologna) is in contention for a role. Gandini's future at the club would also be under review.

I would take Prade. I would like it more if Rui Costa came in. He has been doing fantastic at Benfica. Albertini+Rui+Maldini=dream.

I hope Gandini leaves too. The guy is only good for Twitter banter. Such a relief to see these old fucks leave.

About 'management', We must not forget leadership inside the locker room issue, even if Maldini and other legends return inside the locker room still needs someone.

That has been my dream ever since he retired... for him to take over as director of football... even if he's not quite ready for the job... He's got the right personality, and contacts, and commands respect from other people in the game... something the majority of others have been lacking for some time.

I think we need to give Montella some time, he might fix this problem... bringing in a big personality as assistant would also help...

Besides Maldini is running a bunch of businesses of his own. One with Boban and one with Vieri included and then Miami FC. Clearly the guy has some sense of doing business.

While I'd still want a proven Sporting Director ahead of him, there is no doubt that Maldini needs to be back at the club in something more than an ambassadorial role.

The new owners might want Maldini and Albertini too. That would be awesome.

Here's basically the English version

I'm hesitant about them being "ambassadors". Honestly think that Maldini and Albertini could contribute a lot to the club and usually ambassadorial roles are ones where they have no real input. Also, I'm not sure about Albertini, but I don't think Maldini would just come back to be the face for the club. He's said quite a few times that he's not interested in a role like that, he wants to do something where he can be an influence.
