If we can get 22m for Niang I will wrap him up in christmas present paper and hand-deliver him. Heck, for 35m they can get Niang AND Bacca.

What people seems to forget (apart from his agent's is raiola),
Ibra can singlehandedly score goals, upgrading a mediocre player like boateng + nocerino to be a somehow EL semi-finalist class.
No need Kalinic / Auba if we got Ibra.
We can get Auba/ Belotti later.

Number 7?
Ronaldo if we trully want to make a statement
Guys, let's stop the madness. Ronaldo is not possible!

Ibrahimovic is an extremely short term option. He won't even be able to play until October, and I'm sure he'll take several weeks to get back to 100% condition....so forget about him making any kind of an impact until maybe December. By than, it might be too late for certain objectives.

Also, Karl08, what do you mean we can get Auba/Belotti later? When later? If you have a chance (and have the money) to sign a world class player like Auba, you do it now. You don't wait until later when EVERYTHING may change. By everything, I mean BVB's demands, other teams entering the race, Aubameyang's personal preferences, etc, etc.

I just don't agree that we should put our attack in Ibra's hands after spending 200mil on the rest of the team with some wonderful forward thinking plans. It's a huge risk. A 35 year old (will be 36 in October) that is out with an ACL tear until at least October.
The other thing is that although he does have the ability to make players like Boateng and Nocerino to look better.....he is also the type of player that demands that the entire team adapts to him and his movements. And let's not forget that this is not the same Ibra from 5-6 years ago. This isn't even the same Ibra as a couple of years ago. Hell....this isn't the same Ibra as last year after an ACL tear at his age. And even though he scored a lot of goals for United and made others around him a bit better....don't forget that without that EL victory, United would not be in the CL right now. So it seems like Ibrahimovic has lost some of his swag and influence after all....

This is common sense speaking. However I feel like spending 70m on Aubameyang might also not be the best of ideas. Especially if we want to replace / buy some new midfielders during the winter when some of the purchases we made turn out to be shitty. Furthermore, I don't see how Dortmund can be forced to sell. They can't replace him and don't need the money.

Still, if we really do have 70-80mil designated for a big striker signing, it should be Aubameyang imo.

@Aficio, Batshuayi would probably cost at least 45-50mil. I'd rather add the extra and get someone proven.

Well, if I'm happy with Hakan Calhanoglu instead of James Rodriguez...

I do not want exactly Batshuayi, but an unexpected player around his age and skillset is OK  Sleepy

I love to have Auba or Belo, but hearing about them all days making it boring, and somehow unconvincing (let forget about Kalinic). The remaked Mr. X could be another one  Idea
Not saying that Dortmund can be forced to sell. Obviously they can't. But they are a selling team and will sell Aubameyang for the right price. Whether 70mil for him will be good business or not, only time will tell. If he bangs in 25-30 Serie A goals, than it'll be well worth it.

I don't know if Auba is the best choice. He certainly is my personal choice out of what is on the table right now.

I do admit that Diego Costa is an enticing option...especially when we might even have the possibility to take him on a loan (with more time that passes by in the transfer market) as Conte wants him gone and Costa wants to leave as well. This is a great option not only because of Costa, but because it possibly leaves us with a significant budget to add another important midfielder or a winger.

This is a reaction a lot of people give when discussing Batshuayi. However, he has been very consistent over different leagues and is now starting to show that he has what it takes to be a solid choice for Chelsea. Conte however, does not seem to like him. I've been debating Batshuayi on the AC Milan discord channel with various others and why we're not seeing his name. For some reason, this guy went under the radar after he got signed by Chelsea. He was a very big deal in French media because he carried an entire team at the age of 21. He literally ran back to midfield to score a goal because midfield couldn't get the ball upfront. What 21 year old can do that?

Check this for ball handling, his feet are magnets and his first touch is fifty times better than Lukaku.

Imagine buying this guy for 45m AND Dendoncker for 25m?! That's your Aubameyang money right there. A 28-year old for two hot talents.

I like this combo. Our squad lack some muscles & braveness. Silva looks like a shy boy on the field, and only Kessie in the middle is not enough.

As long as he's playing football, there's a possibility.
Impossibility is, asking gary kasparov or donald trump to play football for milan.

Yes, he's a short term option. But do you really prefer to get Kalinic as your target man?

Even in his 35, he's still the best gamble we'd make. Especially with his age, i'm sure he wont play full-time like a prime players like auba/belotti/etc.
And that'd create chances for the youngsters to have a playing time.
Comparing with 22m bid to kalinic (with probably 3m wages) and free transfer (with probably 8m wages), we'd only spend 16m in 2 years rather than 28m in 2 years.
It'd be a good move financially. Plus, he's a super popular with 26m followers on social media. I'm sure Ibra'd sell more than Kalinic. This'd work just like when we got Beckham on loan.

About Auba/Belotti, their management's putting a big price-tag, to the point they make their star un-affordable (at least by F-M evaluation) this year. But yeah, sure. If such opportunities like Bonucci arrives, we'd get them. But for now, it's difficult, but it's possible. Just like with ronaldo.
Why the heck are we talking about an injured player who won't be able to even play for us until at least late November/Early December at the EARLIEST?

As god-tier as Ibra is (and I have no qualms about getting him back in a Rossonero jersey), he's not even a short-term sporting solution right now. He'd only be here the first half of the season as a marketing tool. If we really want that then why not just grab whatever superstar out there thats available and also able to contribute on the pitch instead? Makes more sense, no?
We got the young 'un's. We take out big gunz  Devilcool
