Connor McGregor would get less Red Cards in the Serie A then Palletta...  Devilol

No offense, but sometimes, I don't understand how others see the players ! Angel
Aurier is an amazing RB (no way he goes to Inter, go Manchester for this one !), and he's always played as ... a RB.
Why would he be good at LB or CD, why would he even be able to play these positions ? I don't get it ! Sagrin

He played as a RB in Lens, Toulouse and then Paris. He is the RB of Ivory Coast. This guy would be horrible as a CD I think, and he maybe played once or twice in his career as a LB, I'm not even sure.

About Darmian, while I'd like to get this player because I think he could do well and be a really good RB, he comes from our youth, and he's now under the radar in Manchester (because of Mourinho IMO, and also his style which isn't that suited to PL I think), that would mean letting Calabria go ?
Welcoming back Darmian (who is 24 if I'm not wrong, so not a short term player, he can stay for a long time) to let Calabria go means we are reproducing the same mistake again and are going to want Calabria again in some years if he turns into a very good RB ?

Darmian is going to be 28 this year. Not 24

I don't know why, but Transfermarkt says that. Maybe he played CB when 12 Big Grin

Anyway, Darmian in danger.
Darmian is currently 27 and will turn 28 at the end of the year. He'd be fine, though looking at who we have his role would be more of of a squad player than a starter. In fact, I'd see him as a replacement for Abate who really looks to be struggling these days.

On Diego Costa, I'm with those who question his attitude. I don't doubt about how useful he can be, but there's just no denying that he's a problematic character. I'm not particularly keen on him, but if some of the other names mentioned can't happen, then I won't complain about getting him as he can be useful.

Oh, I thought he was younger ... But at 28, that doesn't change much what I said, he could play for 4-5 years in Milan, which means again losing Calabria.

Auba relies on his speed a lot too, I don't think getting him for 70m is a good option but I seem to be the only one saying. There are two types of strikers; Ibra-like strikers and Pato-like strikers. For the later, under whom I put Auba, age hits m like an anvil. I HATE getting Diego Costa, but his type of play makes him good for another 5 years.

I don't even count Abate anymore as a valid player for us.

I hope we'll see Conti as our starter and Calabria as his sub. Abate is not better than these both when defending, and he's a lot more worse than them when attacking as these both guys can run, dribble and make decent to very good crosses. Conti can even score goals.

So if we had to pay some money for Darmian, it wouldn't be to replace a player who will never play, but to replace Calabria in the rotation and make some competition to Conti ?

Chelsea would have set the price of Diego Costa : 56M

Compared to the price of the other strikers, it seems a fair price. As the guy has problems with his club and both the club and the player want to free from each other, we could even expect that after some good negotiations, his price could become 45-50M.

€56 million for a player they don't want and that will, no matter what, never play for them again? Seems excessive. That price must be negotiable...
