Are about 75 million received by these really mediocre players the only one i would not sell is Kucka.

If Mirabelli and Fassone now will buy Aubameyang or Belotti plus Keita or Kalinic and R.Sanchez or L.Torrerira i go on Piazza D'uomo at Milano and i'm gonna run naked and then put the picture here.

You have to tell us first which one you are. The one on the left, or on the right? Then I will know what to expect and what I want to wish for. Icon_lol2

Man at the end it will speak the field and the results but ...

Abate -- Conti
Antonelli -- Rodriguez
Paletta -- Bonucci
Zapata -- Musacchio
Montolivo -- Biglia
Bertolacci -- Kessie
Honda-- Chalanoglu
Lapadula -- Silva

Again i love Sheva but want talk about this ?

The only upgrades I do not see visible in the other areas of the field are on in attack, for this i am very worried.
I must agree that Sheva words are nothing more than empty jibber jabber. New players came with clear vision ,one for each position ,there were no "chaotic" moves as he sugests. This Kalinic situation is a little bit sour ,but now with Niang departed I truly believe there is one more striker to come besides Kalinic. In part of his statement "They sign a player for a certain position, then a month later someone comes in for the same position." maybe he refers to Musacchio - Bonnuci ,but wthell... it would be insane to miss an unexpected opportunity to sign Bonnuci just be because we already have Musacchio. At the end ,we really need 3 good defenders so even for this "situation" we can not apply his words... I really have no idea what he's talking about...
Only part I can agree is - there is a lot of new names and that can be a problem for a while. But...capabilities of new players at 50% are better than old ones on 200%(let's pretend they can reach that number)...As we all could see in games against Craiova - THE WORST players on the field were Abate ,Crapolivo etc...those who plays together for years...Those who came yesterday were much much better.
Avaiting for arrival of exorcist into our boardroom.

I am curious what you think of Shevchenko's opinion? I hope he is wrong. If anything, having too many players (even in the same position) is a much better problem to have than having no quality players at all.

If he is talking about Bonucci, then who could blame this improvisation? I don't think our management could have done differently.

If ever there was a word to describe the mercatos of Berlusconi and Galliani it would be improvisation. I can’t recall a single summer where there seemed to be some sort of plan for who they’d buy and why.

Mostly Galliani would hope that a player would wish to leave their current club (Inzaghi, Pirlo, Seedorf, Crespo, Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Cassano, Torres ect.). Sometimes it worked out well, many other times it didn’t.

This summer, I have seen Fassone and Mirabelli act according to a plan, in which they had clearly identified which weak points of the team to address. The defence was shaky and lacking at best, they solved that with Musacchio, Rodriguez and Conti. The midfield lacked power, vision and creativity, they solved that with Kessie, Biglia and Calhanoglu. Montella wanted more versatile forwards, they added Silva, Borini (and possibly one or two of Kalinic, Auba, Belotti, Keith ect.).

To me it is very clear that their strategy has been anything but improvisational, except for one man; Bonucci.
I am pretty certain that we would have signed one of Aubameyang or Belotti by now, had the opportunity to sign Bonucci not appeared out of the blue. It surely wasn’t planned, but nobody in their right mind would pass up such a chance. The defence has always been the cornerstone of any succesful Milan team.

If that makes the whole strategy look disorganised or improvisational to our dear Sheva, then he should probably take a closer look. I for one am 110% sure that he wouldn’t have had team mates such as Pirlo, Seedorf, Inzaghi or Nesta if Berlusconi and Galliani hadn’t improvised when opportunities beyond their control occured.
To be honest the only "Buy in the same position" that I can think of right now are Musacchio/Bonucci, which is understandable, and the Mega Dolla Bros.... Other than that, which pllayer have we brought in is playing in the same position of another player which we brought in?

I mean, most of the players we've brought in this summer can play multiple positions, and that's something which we WANT them to do, to have a versatile team which can enable us to switch to different formations with our existing players without sacrificing technical play and positioning sense...
I mean, sure back in the early 2000's each player were specialists in playing a specific role, in a specific position... but that's not how things are like these days.... These days if you don't adapt on the pitch to counter what your opponents are doing against you, you could very well lose matches due to silly reasons.

I love Sheva more than anyone else, but he really needs to get with the times.
We got the young 'un's. We take out big gunz  Devilcool
M’Baye Niang has not made a decision on the €18m Spartak Moscow transfer, despite Milan agreeing terms with the Russian club.
Multiple sources stated today that the two clubs had come to an agreement on a move worth €18m, while the player was offered a four-year contract worth €3m per season plus bonuses.
His agent is believed to be content with the proposal, but the French forward is not convinced.

The medical is booked for tomorrow in Rome, but there is no guarantee that Niang will attend.
Hmmm...Mirabelli spotted talking to Raiola post game.

Is Niang his client these days?
