Who is noodle? I can't get it until now.

Noodle is Castillejo. Got that nickname while in Malaga, El Fideo in Spanish.

That's he is. Dipshit should have stayed at sporting the extra season and he would have progressed more.

My thought, if that's true, is that would be done to lower the cost of Rafa Leao.

I think so. Miles better technically and a better finisher. Capable of playing SS as well as on either Wing.

I wonder if there's a reason we're selling cheap... Could it be because we're getting a discount on Mr. X (Neves)?

Having said all that...i'm a little worried we are overpaying for Leao. Don't know much about him...but 35mil seems an awful lot. We were already overpaying for Correa to begin with, but I could live with that since I see how he fits. Leao on the other hand will probably share time with Piatek so I would have rather invested that in an attacking mid or CM that can play some through balls and create (like you said)

Yep. Correa seems a perfect fit for our style. As does Leão.
We'll see what the final figures actually are if the deals go through. 50m and 35 seem a little high. Take 10 off each and that's reasonable in today's market
Why does Deulofeu keep coming up. The guys average.
Great player for when we were a mid table team. Now, wouldn't even play ahead of Castillejo

The main figure is already huge seeing he has only one-season experience and his stats doesn't look impressive. The 20 percent makes the fee even bigger.

I just looked transfermarkt, the French club got the striker for free. What a profit!

Tbf, i'd play Deulofeu than Castillejo.
Friendly against bayern showed he's very slow and can't properly hold the ball.
While deulofeu, can just bring the ball to the touchline area easily.

But yes, what's the point of comparing average players.
They don't deserve to use number 7. *that, or my standard is still shevchenko or pato high

Mendes is one of the best agents.  You scratch his back, he'll scratch your's.  It seems to me that this could apply here. Making a profit on Silva could be just that though. We'll see

Free for now. Sporting are taking it further because Leão left his contract unlawfully. Lille might yet lose out on this. Even at 35m which is why they're likely adding the 20% thing.

Yep. Very much the case. As much as I hate it, you need to have agents on your side to make sure that you're considered when a great opportunity comes up
