Unfortunately, that's not how things work when your job is to be in charge of a sporting sector at a club. You need to make sure that you bring no pressure to the players/coach. Instead, his pride got the best of him and screwed him and the club. He brought unneeded pressure onto Pioli and the players. Rumors have started to circle around on players' futures as wellnas Pioli's due to those comments. Whether he was right or wrong doesn't matter. He failed at his job, and the Curva Sud was absolutely 100% correct. He should have handled this behind closed doors. But pride is a terrible thing as much as it is a good thing...and now, because of it, we got the players and the coach wondering what the hell does the future hold and is there a future for them here!? Not where their mind should be at this point of the season. Nefremo, Boban has balls to speak out, not remailn silent... And right now, all this public bullshit is putting pressure on the squad and the coach. So I wish he didn't. Also, "Grande Zoro" made sure he threw the line of "my interview was legally ok" in his interview. So we can expect a lawsuit now. If he has such big balls and he's such a fair guy, why didn't he just resign when his tole was being encroached on by Gazidis? It's all bullshit man. All these fools. Gazidis and Elliot leading the line followed by Boban. They only care about themselves. Boban is a man of principle. I 100% agree that if Elliot and Gazidis wanted to go a different direction, they should have notified Boban and Maldini first. But this isn't the way to handle it either. If Boban cared about Milan so much, he would have quietly involved his lawyers and settled the matter. How is this speaking out helping the Milan that "he cares about"??? It's not. And he doesn't even care about his remaining contract money.. He just wants the world to know that he is right, no matter the cosequences. He could have waited until the summer to speak up, no? Bunch of fucking ego-maniacs!
I think we all can agree that as directors, Boban and Maldini failed in their first and biggest task to date i.e. choosing our new coach. Not only the coach was found so spectacularly out of his depth, he also threw his towel at the first, I repeat, the fucking first game of the season.
B&M did what they could to correct their decision. While I was against Pioli at first but he turned out to be a more humble coach. He steadied the sinking ship and after few weeks in charge found a more balanced game plan. It's mitigating a disaster at best, we can't simply undo the abysmal months under Giampaolo, but an improvement nevertheless. If Gazidis really had the balls, in December he would say "You guys are obviously too unexperienced and it shows. So come next June, I'll take a drastic change. Are you in or are you out?" Or just fire them anyway. But by talking to Rangnick behind their backs and failing to keep it secret proves that he's just as amateurish. Good thing that he's the superior so he can fire Boban and not vice versa. Because financially speaking, it's not like he's doing his job terribly well either. And if I were I were Elliott, I'd be very concerned to see such incompetency running from the very top of the organization.

I don't think Rangnick happening will be more than 50% due to Boban and Maldini making wrong choices about Giampaolo (and other decisions they made). It is more about Elliott and/or Gazidis thinking to fix finances they need people who are different characteristics than B&M. We are in no position to fix things with stadium or sell players for big profit (one Suso profit is not enough) so in the short term at least drastic action is needed.

Boban and Maldini's mistake is appointing Giampaolo. No one speaks of Gazidis sins. like for instance, blocking Zlatan transfer last winter that cost us the CL spot, transfer limitations....

This is a mess. There is no other way to say it. Boban is hot-headed and unprofessional in what he did, but Gazidis is stupid and earns no respect. Nobody knows where Milan is headed towards, because nobody even knows what our mysterious owner wants, heck, I don't even know who he is.
