Pioli should be sacked ASAP. You can't carry your small club mentality in club like Milan.

Not sure Pioli is to blame for who we are not signing. Brest SD just confirmed negotiations with Milan. But not agreement. So how exactly is Pioli to blame for this?
I also don't think Pioli refused Adli, or anyone else. We simply have no money.

We'll sign someone guys. I just hope it's not a panic buy. I'm happy with Chaka's signature. He was ripping Primavera apart at 16. Obviously this isn't a first team transfer, but it's worth mentioning.
Corona imo is tied to Samu. Samu out = Corona in. But Faivre is not related to a departure. For him, it's just a matter of finding an agreement with Brest. I'm basing this on the fact that their SD confirmed an offer from Milan within the last 48 hrs. If we made an official offer, then we're obviously not waiting to sell in order to buy him. At this point it seems Kessie will stay. So the midfield, imo, has great quality. Probably the best in Serie A to be honest. Bennacer, Kessie, Bakayoko, Tonali, Krunic. I think Adli is a finished story. He'll likely only come if Kessie left, but I don't see that happening now. I only hope we come to am agreement with Frank and not lose him for free next year.

Haha i don't disgree on Hauge or Krunic. I'm with you 100%. But Hauge or not, we needed signings in a couple areas (ACM and RW) and we haven't gotten them. And when it comes to those, I don't think Pioli or his decisions have anything to do with it.
I like that saying though....never heard it before. Good one. Suits Pioli and some of his decisions.

Btw, I am very surprised we have not heard many Raspadori rumors this summer. He finished off the season last year as a started and scored several goals. He now started this season with a goal and looks set to be a starter at Sassuolo going forward. I think this is great for him (to stay there and get a full season as a starter under his belt), but he's one Italian talent that I'd love for us to invest in and "block" him for next year. Gives me those Cassano/Totti/Del Piero vibes where he plays off the main ST but moves around the box centrally and fills in all those channels. Very crafty little player that's able to create for others, create for himself, finish chances and move to good areas in the box and act as a ST as well. Unfortunately, it stinks of a Juventus deal. Those fukers seem to get all the Italian talent. To be fair though, they don't mind investing in it as well whereas I don't know that we've ever done those sorts of deals (buy someone for a significant amount and leave them at that club for a year to further development).
Tbh if we end mercato with Faivre and Yoko I think it was fine. We'll need to be regulars in CL to have a mercato that exceeds our expectations imo.
If our players are in fact good players, they'll show it on the big stage. We'll have a ton of exposure and their values will soar. Think back to Juve, I remember in the beginning of their rebuild some of their bigger names were non costly or free like Pirlo/Pogba/Vidal/Marchisio etc., they sold them for good$ and reinvested to strengthen the squad in broader terms. Then of course with winning titles and regularly participating in CL, it keeps the flow going. Of course in Juve's case the stadium certainly helped. I'm just drawing reference to the fact that rebuilding does take some time and I think since Maldini & co have come in, there has been a generally sound but gradual improvement for sure.

Faivre will be the difference.
All our kids are one year better than last, and Giroud Florenzi Maignan are perfectly experienced players to keep things solid for us.
We got the young 'un's. We take out big gunz
Guys, i'm so excited! This Milan is great! I don't care about the score (maybe a bit ) as long as the players show this type of commitment. It was so great to see. And the fans! I feel reborn! I am going to a wedding in France in October...and I will definitely make a detour to go to San Siro. Last time I was there, it was painful. I need better memories! So...what better time then this...?
Forza Milan! Per sempre!! |
