Matchday 18: Milan - Cagliari (Sunday, January 8 - 18:00 CET)

It's possible. Torino is a tougher opponent compared to Cagliari. And I suppose that Coppa can be a priority this season.

It's said the reason for possibly seeing Bertolacci in place of Locatelli is Montella wants the latter available for some key games coming up vs Torino and then Napoli. Locatelli is currently one yellow away from suspension.

I understand that concern, but I think we need to take one game at a time. Cagliari is worth just as much as Torino or Napoli, so I think if ready, Locatelli should play.

Cagliari is always a tricky opponent despite playing home. We should take one game at a time and play the best possible line up. I read Niang might not be available too?

Niang will play from the start.

Donnarumma; Abate, Paletta, Romagnoli, De Sciglio; Pasalic, Locatelli, Bonaventura; Suso, Bacca, Niang

By the way, Milan have won their last 11 home matches against Cagliari in all competitions. Let's extend it to 12 today. Smile

Everyone around us won so there is absolutely no margin for error. This has to be a win.

Here's hoping the lads aren't still on Coppa Hangover. We really need the points at this point.

Interesting chance that Bacca and Niang have today. Cagliari have a pretty poor defence, so this could be an ideal situation for them to finally score and get a little confidence back.

As nefremo said though, a win is a must.
