Talking about Ajax players Hakim Ziyech is ready for the next step for 20 Million he could be interesting. And Justin Kluivert also seems exciting however like Dolberg he isn't ready yet

Kluivert seems like a very exciting prospect indeed. I've been very impressed.

Ziyech on the other hand.....every time I watch him he reminds me of the "Menez type". Would rather take a stupid shot than reward a teammate's run who is in a better position....and aftetwards doesn't even acknowledge his mistake. He strikes me as a player whose attitude will only get worse with time.

Might be wrong as I've seen a limited amount of games in the Eredivisie this year. I know you are from Holland Joel so you probably have a better insight. It's just what I've seen.

I was also dissapointed in him yesterday for those sort of decisions. And he does have a attitude but he can also play matches purely dedicated to the team like he did against Feyenoord this year in which he had an important defensive role on the midfield. And he has great dribbling shot and vision so I think he could be very useful. I would however see him as a additional midfield signing not the main target.

So yeah I agree that he has a bit of an attitude but it's not like Menez, Ballotelli etc. I think he uses it in good way and when you see him in interviews he's quite humble to.
I'd be happy enough with those guys as signings for midfield. I'm honestly happy enough to bring in the numbers next season, in the way of young prospects, then the season after compliment them with some world class players. We want to do this right... The last thing we need to do is spend 150mill on older players from ok teams that may/may not live up to expectations...

eg. would rather spend 35 on Kovacic then 25 on Fabregas. Although I'd take both  Sagrin

Looks like Fabregas isn't an option any more though. looks like he's rather stay in England for his "family"... Liverpool interested in him
found a picture of Fabregas' family...

lol yea, it looks like his family.

Anyway, i think Fabregas is a great player but it wouldn't bother me one bit if he didn't come here.

I am like you...I think we should go for hungry young quality players. Ones that would leave it all on the field and die to win. I have huge question marks on whether Fabregas for example will have that kind of a dedication.
If Fabregas comes, he won't give a shit. He'll just sit here and cruise... After a year or two we'll send him away anyway and replace him with someone better. While a youngster might not need replacing for a while.

I do still think he'd be a good signing but again, just like Musacchio, provided it's the right price... I wouldn't spend any more then 25 for him.
Unlike Musacchio, I don't think Fabregas is a long term fix. While Musacchio has the potential, provided he stays injury free, to be a longer term option.
Elsewhere I saw a mention of Kalinic but for 45 million, obviously a rumour only but come on, 45?
I'd be more than happy if we were to sign Ziyech and Kessie this summer just for the midfield. That would probably be the most explosive midfield in the Serie A and without a doubt and increase our quality by miles. Are we even linked to Ziyech though? Haven't read anything about him in the press recently...

Also, more good news: Keita Balde prefers Milan to Juventus.

A mercato consisting of Keita, Ziyech, Kessie, Mussachio, Ghoulam, and a CF would be the best mercato I've ever seen since I was born, without a doubt. And it's all realistic Big Grin

First Kessie and now Keita are rumoured to prefer us. Why is it suddenly we become attractive?  Sagrin

Emerson of Roma is the newest LB linked to us.
free loan with option to buy ™
and gonzalo rodriguez is being linked again to us, he is free next summer. i think that is not a bad idea. we do need a backup, and he fit the bill nicely.

i think i know why they choose us, they have seen what the result with other youngster that go to juve they dont have that much playing time. with us it is a guaranteed 1st team spot with baca and lapa on their way out. also only suso is the real starters for us, ofcourse they want to come to us, that is if we could go to europe i think.
