What I don't get is 6 months ago he rejected Chelsea... If he rejected chelsea, more $$ and a chance to work with Conte again, who he gets along with, why would he then decide to come to us???

Yes, his agent said him & his wife will not leave Italy.

This Bonucci thing might not be fake news after all.
Six months ago he got a new contract, so it is not his agent trying to get a new contract Secondly, there are problems in the Juve dressing room.Plenty of shit has been leaked since the CL final. Bounce and Allegri apparently does not get along. Could this be the Pirlo situation again? And thirdly, it is said that Bonucci does not want to leave Italy. A move from Turin to Milan is hardly a change for his family. I'd take Bonucci over Belotti/Aubameyang. Him and Romagnoli with Musacchio at the back is a solid solid defense. Plus it massively weakens Juve. This window is already a 10/10. If Bonucci comes then it is a massive statement to the world that we are back. I really hope this happens.

And hopefully with this, montella'd go 3 central defender than 2 With rodriguez + romagnoli + musachio + bonucci + conti We're on top 10 (even 5) best defense on the whole world
Well, I ruled this out as bullsh!t news earlier today....but it looks like there is truth to it and I was wrong.
Now, the things I said about Bonucci being arrogant and a little overrated? Scratch that...I definitely want the guy. On a more serious note, yes, I think he is arrogant and yes he is a little overrated. The overrated part comes mostly from people comparing him to Nesta/Cannavaro/Maldini etc. I think he is far away from that type of quality....but I do recognize that he is a great defender and that he would do wonders for Romagnoli and our defense/team in general. I would still not give Romagnoli to Juventus for anything.....but if there is a chance to get Bonucci, than I'm all in. The quote of 40-45mil is very fair I think. I would gladly pay that to Juventus for Bonucci. I think this move will shift the "defensive power" from Torino to Milano. All of a sudden, I think it will be Milan that will have the best defensive unit in Italy. God how I miss the days when we had the best defense around. Getting Bonucci and Aubameyang would surpass even the wildest dreams. Imagine this: -------------------Donnarumma--------------------- --------Musacchio - Bonucci - Romagnoli--------- Conti-----------------Biglia------------------------RR ---------Kessie--------------------------Jack---------- --------------------Calhanoglu-----------------------(Suso) -------------------Aubameyang----------------------(Andre Silva)

Bonnuci would be a big pick up. I'd rather not see us go the 3 defence route though... Would rather see Musacchio become 1st backup instead...
Also happy to spend the $$ on Bonucci and a winger then pick up a young cm and Kalinic(backup) and leave it at that. The usual 4 up the back ----------Kessie-----Biglia--------- -------------Calhanoglu------------ Suso-----------Silva------Insigne?

Can't go to insigne anymore i guess. Last winter window we almost had insigne, but he renewed with napoli Missed opportunity (07-13-2017, 03:17 AM)Karl08 Wrote: Can't go to insigne anymore i guess. Just like Bonucci re-signed???? Just means he'd cost more $$$ but surely 45-50 would be enough to make them happy? Either way, I just used him as an example of a top LW without having to spend 80mill on a Sanchez... although I would love Sanchez

30 years for a CB is definitely good enough, he can probably play for at least 4 years at a top level. Let's send away the deadweight on our squad to get Bonucci, I am more excited about him than Auba. Andre Silva is good enough to put the goals into the net with Suso, Calhanoglu, Bonaventura behind him.
