Summer transfer window 2017
Marchisio is a box to box though. Yes, lately he has played as a "regista", but that only started when Pirlo was absent and it sort of continued since that point when Pirlo left. His natural position is a box to box though and I think if we sign him, that's the role he should/will play.

I am split on him though. Marchisio is one of the most talented Italian midfielders of the last 10 years....even though the last 10 years have been labeled as mediocre when it comes to Italian talent...so I guess that doesn't prove all that much. Regardless, he is a very good player WHEN fit. I am worried about taking a 31 year old who will probably be on big wages and has a ton of injury problems. If we are going to take an injury prone player, I would feel much better if he was younger.

Either way...if it was a low cost operation I would not oppose it and I guess I would just hope that he stays healthy...because when he is he is a great player.

He is always injured  is 32 years old want a lot of money for contract and for me as for Kalinic bad investment especially as they say in exchange for Bonaventura.
Can't disagree. This transfer would actually be fitting for Galliani. Buy something that's broken and hope that it goes back to the way it was before it got broken. Big Grin

That's why I said I would hope that he stays healthy...which isn't very likely I guess.

Anyway, like I said, I'm split. I think there are other, better options. Let's see what happens.
Would not give up on Locatelli or Bonaventura for Marchisio. Juventus interested in both...

How about no. I'm not hugely keen on Marchisio, though he can be useful for adding depth. However, at the expense of either of the names mentioned in the link above, then Juve can go screw themselves.

It seems Juve this summer have tried to bully other teams into sales, but it always backfires. After Donnarumma early on, they've apparently continually pushed for Locatelli making no headway, they've tried to screw over Lazio on Keita and have failed badly so far and tried to play Fiorentina and in the end only got Bernadeschi for market value (if not overpaying a little).

Of course, there's also the Bonucci deal where it's universally agreed Milan got the better deal (especially factoring in DES).
Marotta said they have the right to offer if Donnarumma is available.

So Milan have the right to enquire about Marchisio.

Just stop at that and leave Juventus deal with lacklustre Kherida and sulking Marchisio.
Marchisio almost 32 very very injury prone.Hasnt been consistently good (due to injurys) since 2015 , he'll want a big wage.Im not sure about him.But if management want him and he comes I'll support him.Like Kalininc not what id do or want.
If a top CF is not happening (seems like it now), than let's just sign a CM and a winger. We can call it a day with that unless we hace to replace one (or both) of the CBs that might be leaving.

Without another CF, I don't thinkthat we'll consistently use a 2 striker formation...which obviously means that we have a bigger need for a winger more than anything else.
What about André Iniesta? He may leave Barcelona. I would prefer him over Marchisio at any time. He would be the same impact veteran player for the midfield like Bonucci for the defense.
He can also play as a left winger.
With him, we would be Scudetto contenders!
Of course we would need another miracle from F&M to have him!
Iniesta didnt play quite good last season,
Maybe its about his motivation/ something, i dont know.

About marchisio,
It's a statement signing guys,
Just in a month, we'd have their 2 "legends" just because of their problem with allegri Devilol

Maybe it's un-necessary to bring marchisio,
But hey, anything i'd do to see those ladri fans get humiliated Sagrin
