There's quite a few late bloomer Croatians. Let's see what happens, he has the skill set to become a very good player. I believe Rakitic was about the same age as Halilovic was now at Schalke and had quite a mixed career there. Many disciplinary problems and was inconsistent, look at him now.

This kid has some unbelievable skills. I don't know if Gattuso will be able to find a way to let it work for the team.

i think this is a decent transfer given it's a free one. There's not a huge risk with taking him on and having him for depth, if he manages to step up to reach his potential, it'd be a phenomenal signing.
