Summer Mercato 2019
Football-Italia says Plizzari signed a new deal. TMW notes our interest in Cuadrado and Insigne.

Thus, we fund the FFP with the sales of Donnarumma, Suso and Calhanoglu.

Summer mercato looks interesting :-)
Even if we don't make CL and we need to sell to buy, we have a lot of pieces we can move around. Selling Donnarumma, suso & calha and promoting Plizarri keeping Reina in our squad while buying Cuadrado and Insigne is already a huge improvement and we might even have money left over tbh.

As long as Donnarumma doesn't go to Juventus, I'm more than happy to let him go for the correct offer. Fantastic keeper, very bright future but I've still not completely forgiven him for that summer and Raiola is still his agent so it's bound to happen again.

Let's put it this way.
Sell
Gigio - 50-60
Suso - 38
Hakan -20

Buy
Bakayoko - 35
Insigne 50-60
Cuadrado 25-30(thinking this is what they'll ask not what he's worth)

7m Under

Plus the sale of someone like Kessie(35 minus the 24 we are yet to pay for him - 11m) to Bring in Sensi(20 minus 12m from Locatelli - 8m) and Tonali(25).

And we've spent 37m and ended up with a vastly superior team.
Leonardo and Maldini could yet surprise us with some good deals in there (eg. sell Gigio for more than 60m or buy Insigne for Suso plus 10m) as well as a decent coach.
we've got some marketable players. Just need some good negotiating to buy/sell the right players for the right prices, loan with obligation deals, that sort of thing, and we wouldn't be too far out of pocket.
the only question becomes... would someone like Insigne come if there's no CL? I think he would... with Sarri in charge.
is it option or obligation for Kessie?

obligation
either way, even if it was an option... in this day and age, surely he's worth at least 35...
could even see if Cheslea are happy for a swap. Send them kessie we keep bakayoko

Very good breakdown, completely agree that it's all up to the negotiating as well. I feel like this summer might be our last chance to capitalize financially on selling Suso, Calhanoglu and perhaps even Castillejo. If they continue to perform the way they have for an entire season next year, I cannot see them being worth much. This summer a lot of clubs will still pay top dollar for Suso because his first half of the season put up good enough numbers to validate a 40m price tag. If you're a Milan fan though, his performances certainly do not tell the full story, and I feel like it's the same was Calhanoglu. We do need rotational players though, and in that respect I wouldn't mind keeping Castillejo over Borini.
Mine one(if we unluckily fails to finish Top 4)

Coach- Sarri/Conte/EDF

Sell Borini get Mohammed Fares as his replacement
Sell Suso
Sell Kessie
Sell Donna brothers
Sell Calhanoglu
Sell Biglia
Sell Andre Silva

Buy Tonali 20-25M
Buy Krunic 10M
Buy Saint Maximim 25-30M
Buy Bakayoko(Compulsory)
Buy Sensi

Some young talent that we can get many of them are not to world get them before Juventus buys them-
Luka Bogdan
Emanuel Vignato

Experienced players-
Daniel Caliguiri(probably under 10M)
You fear because you live without Love Pioli

I doubt we'd get that much for Castillejo which is why I'd keep him on the bench. I'd also keep Borini unless a 10-15m offer comes in. He works hard when he comes on which is more that can be said for a lot in the team.
We'll definitely need depth which is why I only added suso, Hakan, Gigio to the sell list.
Forgot about his brother(no one will buy him so let him go for free).
I also forgot to add my bit on Silva... I'd wait to see who the new coach is and what his plans are before we decide what to do there. If we stick to playing 2 up front then Silva could work well as a second striker. That being said, if a top offer comes in then I'm not opposed to selling him, although it's more likely we'd end up having to send him on loan with obligation to Monaco unless wolverhampton are interested.

The most important signing for next season, for me, will most definitely be a top coach.

I think we're in a good position to land a top coach
