Unfortunately not. Clubs receive only a very small percentage of the money generated from shirt sales, since those rights have already been sold to a provider. Our deal with Puma provides us with a guaranteed minimum of €15M per season, but close to nothing else regardless of who we might sign.
The amount clubs receive from such deals wont remain at 15 for example when reaching CL, unless Milan's management are third rate businessmen the amount will increase based on CL and even specific player that's why you sometimes hear about image rights and player X is Nike can't sign with Adidas team
#DeStefano (SKY) ?
.
"Donnaruma and Suso will not leave Milan because of their value at the club, but the correa deal is in its final stages."
I don't know if true but one source says Correa is 45 rising to 55, this is madness imo

Shirt deals are not traditional sponsorship deals - they are licensing deals, which enables shirt manufacturers to use a club’s brand to sell products. Clubs will traditionally receive an annual fee (ea. Milan receives €15M per year from Puma) and on top of that 10-15% of the revenue generated from shirt sales.
The manufacturers aren’t just paying to have a tiny logo on the front of a club’s shirt, but rather making an investment that will yield a significant return. As an example the CEO of Adidas has projected that they will earn €1,6B from their ten year deal with Manchester United worth €800M.

The notion of some fans that clubs can simply recoup the transfer fee and perhaps even the wages of a marquee player by selling shirts is simply wrong.

That’s correct. It was booked last week.
