Perez is the one to thank.

From buying the bests to Zidanes y Pavones, from selling the academy and reject the Pavones idea to buying the bests again but in all positions, to now: buying the best youngsters.
From blindless focusing on the attack to win at all cost, even becoming ultra-defensive, more defensive than the most defensive mind in the world, Atletico Madrid.

Many "trials & erros". So they are now deserved!

Compared to Berlusconi, our hot-headed and outspoken narcissist, bunga specialist, former president??? Big Grin

However, I think Maldini learned from that and gradually lead us to success without much painful "trials & errors"!!!

There is still a difference. Money! Icon_lol2

Real Madrid has unlimited monetary support and government backing for their "experiments". We don't. Even Berlusconi didn't want to spend any more. In the past decade, Ancelotti would find all excuses not wanting to come back.

Isn't Real Madrid's total payroll 5 times higher than ours right now? (I think)
