By Football Italia staff

After PSG and Monaco, now Ajax are being linked with a swoop for Milan teenager Hachim Mastour.

The 17-year-old is the youngest ever player to get a senior cap for Morocco and has already made adverts with Neymar showing off his skills.

However, Mastour is yet to make his senior debut for Milan in a competitive game, even though he impressed with a fierce strike from distance in a recent friendly.

He was left out of the tour of China and will instead go to South Africa with the Primavera youth team.

According to Milannews.it, the latest club to make a firm bid for Mastour is Ajax, who specialise in growing young players ready for the big stage.

His price-tag is believed to be around €5m and Mastour has gone from being the future of the Milan squad to a potential sale to make way for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

He is not going to get much time with this Milan. We should loan him out to get more experience, or sell him with a buy-back clause.

But with this management, this is never going to happen. We will lose him eventually as a Bosman, I am quite sure.

Apparently no one was willing to pay the 5 million price tag so the decision is to keep in the primavera for one more year.

In today's hype world I find it hard to believe no team accepted to pay 5 million.

Are we looking for someone to buy him though?

Mastour's 2 year loan to Malaga may not happen. There are rules about under 18 transfers and he will have to wait until FIFA looks into the loan.

If the deal goes through, it really makes no sense on Malaga's part. We loan him for two years, then they're allowed to buy him for 5mln euros if he succeeds. I'm sure if he does succeed, we're going to want him back, so there's a clause in his contract that allows us to buy him back for 6mln euros.

Essentially, if he's good we'll pay Malaga 6mln euros for developing him for us. If he's bad, we let Malaga have him for 5mln euros or we get him back free. This was a good deal.

I agree with you that this is a good deal for Milan, but it is not bad for Malaga either. He will play for them 2 years for free, and then he might play one more year (or more), and they would earn 1 million once Milan gets him back.
