lol, just missed it Mystik. It was actually a good opportunity to see a lot of the Primavera kids.

Firstly, I think the game was confirmation that Suso needs to be given opportunities. I was aware of his ability before the match anyway and he simply confirmed it, although in the second half he was looking for the 3rd goal a bit too much.

Di Molfetta had a few really good moments, but also showed he's still not quite ready for regular first team action, not always keeping pace with play or mainly the physicality. Not to say he's not ready to be involved in the senior set up, he needs exposure.

Mastalli probably had one of his quietest appearances that I remember for a long time. Again, much like Di Molfetta he's not quite ready at this precise moment, but it's mostly the lack of exposure at this level. He did make good runs off the ball though. It's also worth noting he spent the match alongside Muntari and Essien in midfield, which is never easy.

Felicioli was undoubtedly the standout talent of the Primavera. His performance at LB was outstanding from all aspects and it was really great to see. I've followed him a little for a while and he has grown a lot over the last couple of years.

One point worth noting was it felt like the Primavera players clearly looked more alert and pressed better off the ball than the senior players. They have a chance to try and show something to earn a promotion to the first team, but really it was still kind of embarrassing to see.
