I just got a little question. as I looked over the world map, I noticed that one of the Indonesian islands was named Celebes... in my memory that island was named Sulawesi. Now could anyone tell me if it has changed name, had that name in another language or if I am just hallunicating.

The Bataks (not Bataknese :D ) are fm Sumatra and the Minang(kabaus) are from Padang, Sumatra. Yes, Acehnese are from Aceh. And the Malays are from Riau. :)

Where exactly that region is??Kutai in my homeland is used to be a name of first Hindu's Kingdom in Indonesia then about 15 or 16th century turned out to be Islamic Kingdom..name of Kutai Kingdom I think never changed until now. Including the calling in our tribe and so on..

Some years ago my mum and I went to Indonesia and we went to a toko that sold batiks. The sales assistant told us that for batiks, different motives or designs have different meanings in the (old/traditional) Indonesian culture. For instance, the eagle or garuda motives are meant for royal dignitaries, floral designs are for unmarried ladies while there were other designs (which I can't recalled) which are meant for married men/women, bachelors and the common ppl. I have heard this on the radio too. Does anyone here know about this and if so, can you please elaborate? :)

Memang di Jakarta ada cafe yang menjadi ajang menonton bareng dan didalamnya dijamin akan banyak fans Milan, namun saya ingin tempat yang lebih terjangkau oleh semua pihak karena tidak semua dari kita berpikir bahwa cafe adalah tempat terbaik.
Silahkan beri saran kalau perlu ada beberapa dari kalian yang punya tempat cukup besar untuk menonton, itu malah lebih baik.
. atau baca bola edisi Kamis 22 May 2003 dimana di surat pembaca ada yang menyarankan tempat ( cafe ) untuk berkumpul para fans milan.

Hello Syn...boleh juga idemu itu. Tapi kok bikin thread lain jika kita punya yang terdahulu (indonesians' thread). Di situ elo bisa berbagi ide, saran, pendapat, komentar dan sebagainya dengan teman-2 yang lain. ;)

Terakhir aku lihat di Indonesian thread ada milanisti asing ikut nulis, aku juga bingung mau bikin baru atau ikutin indonesian thread, jadi aku putuskan bikin baru agar moderator bisa langsung hapus thread ini begitu Champion sudah selesai.

Menyenangkan bisa nonton bareng teman teman Milan mania.

Gimana kalau di Cafe tempat biasanya nonton bareng pendukung MU(nggak tahu namanya :p ).
Atau kalau nggak, di tempat biasa nonton bareng Formula One ;)

Tapi kalau aku pribadi sih, enaknya nonton bareng di rumah aja ;) Sama tetangga gitu, atau kalau nggak TV-nya dibawa keluar terus nonton bareng satu RT :)
Manggil tukang bakso, dan lengkap sudah kenikmatan itu :D
