well I know that south american tuornament Copa Libertadores are the same as CL in Europe
I'd like to add my favorite teams in this region :
Santos, Vasco da Gama, Boca Juniors, Penarol etc.
tere are also many more famous teams, however I do not have enough time to write them here.
Maybe later ..............
Many of you know the Copa Libertadores tournament but, there is another cup that there is played in South America, LA COPA SUDAMERICANA, is like UEFA cup for Europe but here, the tournament is played after the copa libertadores, because of this you can see teams like Boca and Santos playing in this cup too.
At this time the tournament is in semi-finals, the results so far are:
1/4 Finals:
River Plate (Argentina) - Asunción (Paraguay) (2-1 aggregate)
Atletico Nacional (colombia) - Boca (Arg.) (4-2) aggregate)
Cienciano (Perú) - Santos (Brazil) (3-2) aggregate)
Sao Paulo (Brazil) - The Strongest (Bolivia) (7-2 aggregate)
Semi final will be:
River - Sao Paulo and
Cienciano - Atletico Nacional
The surprise is Cienciano because they eliminated Santos and is a team that is playing really well, about Boca, they played against Atletico Nacional with the bench because they are reserving their players for the Intercontinental cup and the Argentina's league, even Bianchi didn't travel to Colombia for the second match of the series.

From Bolivian soccer all you need to know is that Bolivar is the best team. They are the team with more League titles and participations in the Copa Libertadores (even though we never made it past the quarter finals). In the last Copa Sudamericana we reached the semifinals where we lost to San Lorenzo of Argentina.
Other teams from Bolivian First division are:
San Jose
The Strongest
Oriente Petrolero
Blooming
Real Potosi
Wilstermann
Aurora
Iberoamericana
Independiente Petrolero (relegated for next season)
Guabira
.....and some more

where can I find official websites of "torneo apertura" and "Brasilerao" as u called them.
I'd be very thankful. :tong:
For Argentina:
You can go to the official page of AFA(Argentina's Federation of Football): http://www.afa.org.ar/ but it's crap:o , some links doesn't work and it's very slow so, I recomend the site:
http://www.uolsinectis.com.ar/uolfutbol/primera_division/index.htm
it's better, but it is in Spanish, you will have to learn "algunas palabras" my friend;)
For Brazil the website of the federation is better:
http://cbfnews.uol.com.br/
but it is in Brazilian:rolleyes:
you could try in Spanish to in:
http://www.uolsinectis.com.ar/uolfutbol/ligas_ext/brasil/posiciones.htm

Velez Sarsfield just won the Torneo Clausura here in Argentina. Remember Velez? They defeated us in the Intercontinental cup like a decade ago, coached by Carlos Bianchi now in Atletico Madrid.
Velez best players? Castroman (played for Lazio), Jonas Gutierrez (great motor, improving skills) and Somoza (Good defensive half).

Atacching the uniform of my Atlético!
Guadalajara are playing Atl.Paranaense in the copa libertadores.... who do you think will win?
going on form in this tournament you`d have to favour Guadalajara, those mexcians are doing the business at the moment!
what about tomorrows match between River plate and sao paolo?
do you think the brazilians will hold on or will the "millionarios" triumph and over turn a 2-0 first leg defecit at la monumental?

Final of Libertadores Cup: São Paulo x Atlético Paranaense, a brazilian final!
For me is São Paulo x Liverpool, I would like São Paulo x Milan, but....
I hate Velez with all my soul but next year i see them with big chances in Libertadores.
Also they have a fabulous player called Jonas Gutierrez that is going to get very nigh soon (best thing he has is being Almagro suporter, that makes him even better lol).
