View Full Version : Paolo Inzaghi-out of the squad

I think that recent played games of Inzaghi are not on his usuall level. The last game against Juve was a disaster for Inzaghi. Not only that he was all the time in offside but he had the miss of a lifetime. My suggestion is that he should be replaced with somebody else, maybe Tommasson! He no longer diserve to be in a first squad team!
You mean Pippo Inzaghi, right?!
He has been injured a few times this season, maybe that is why he isn´t at his best right now. He still deserves to be in the squad.

No, he means Paulo Inzaghi, Pippos evil twin brother :D
Surely he does not want to sell Super-Pippo ;)

That's right, he has been injured but the problem is not in his condition. The problem is in his mentality. I don't like his style of playing. His only quallity is to diserve a pennalty kick. I'm sorry, but Milan needs to buy a decent striker to play with Seva!
What??
He is a killer inside the box, and he even helps out in the deffense.

Well sorry but I disagree totally...not scoring does not mean he is not doing his job....the last game (last Sunday) he was the man of the match ... he has scored in two of the three last matches.
Besides, while Don Paul Tomasson has played well as a reserve there is no guarantee he will be as effective and effective as Peter Inzaghi. Andrew Shevchenko seems to finally be comfortable playing with Pasquale Inzaghi. KoKo also seems to be good support. Anyways, the man of the match certainly was Claudio Seedorf :)

Pippo is one of our main weapons for these last games of the season ;)
!!!FORZA PIPPO!!!!
Inzaghi is an experienced goalscorer and a "hunter". Although not everyone likes his style, he wins games for his team.
After injuries, he is just coming into his better form, as evidenced by his recent goals.
I agree with Goirre that he is one of the most potent weapons we have at the end of this season. He will still score for us in the CL and Serie A.
To "dismiss" him from the squad is nonsense.

No disagree with you, AcMilan_Montreal.
- Carl Seedorf was just too lucky to score those goals;
- Alexei Sevchenko is too selfish, he didn't pass to Pedro Inzaghi. Surely, get him out of the team!!!
- and KAKA Kaladze was just invisible yesterday. He definetely should play on his usual position - as a left back, why does he try to be a playmaker?
I sound a bit repetitious, but, damn, it's just a great thread!!!
Talking about the game against Juve, Pippo has done a great job for the whole team, though missed an open goal. I wonder why all the stoopid media gave him 5 or 5.5. Juve was pushing hard with much poccesion, he worked as a lone striker up front, Juve pushed all their defense line to trap him offside, whenever he's offside, the space behind the defense remained for Sheva and Kaka to rush. I honor the sacrafice Pippo made in the game.
On the other hand, Nedved was a so selfish guy, made so many long range attempts without supporting Di Vaio. In the last ten games Nedved did score once, but out of 40 ATTEMPTS!
Pippo made two goals in this week (Genua and Praha) and it would be very unfair to take him out the team, only because he didn`t score in a match. He is also only a human being and can make a mistake. Also other famous strikers sometimes miss infront the goal chances. And he needs our confidence. Only so he can find again to his best form.

Peakaboo Inzaghi was unlucky not to bury Gianluigi Bufoon when the dribbled past both defenders and the keeper. He was off balance and did not seal it. however, it could have been worse: had it been a pass all open in front it would be much more embarrasing but given he did all the work himself its not as bad.
In the Samba-doria game he really Pappa Inzaghi pushed to the very end of the match and got the top ratings from the Gazzetta and Corriere. Against Sparta he also came out like a lion.
Milan has been patient with the likes of Manuel Ri-cotta, Andy Pirlouette and even Arthur Shevchenko to some extent .. Pipi Inzaghi has done so much for this squad I think he has earned our respect and patience.
and remember
Forza MILON!
Yours truly,
Bobby (FCMilon_Toronto)

hahaha, this thread keeps getting better
Bobby_Toronto, you are killing me man :dielaugh:
btw, what about our lineup for the Parma match? I would with this one:
'Robertinho Hermeto Pascoal Nelson De Jesus and whatnot' Dida
Marcos Cafe
Alessio Nesta
Pablo Maldini
Christian Broccheta
Rinosaur 'Gimli ' Gatusso
Maximiliano 'Legolas' Ambrosini
Claudio Seedorf
Manuel Ri-cotta
Juan Dale Tomasson
Andrew Shevalivcenko
It is a 3-5-2 as you may notice, but it wouldn't hurt to try something new....if it doesn't work, then Angielotti can bring for the second half Pee Wee Inzaghi for Juan Dale Tomasson and Marvin Laursen for Christian Broccheta.
Forza MILAN!!

jure3105, sorry to say, but it looks as though your point has lost a lot of respect because of ur spelling.
I don't think we should get rid of Pippo...he has been injured a lot, but has still bounced back recently. He won't ever stop missing chances, but as long as he keeps scoring as well, who cares!
Ha Ha, and Kaka needs no alteration to his name for obvious reasons. :D Kaka the best kaka ever.

Wow with the success of this squad I basically forgot about Ravioli. Its a shame players like Rotondo don't get to play but it is a big risk playing him as he is not really tested in Serie A or with this squad. Though I prefer seeing him than Broccoli on the line-up but sometimes I understand Carew Ankle-hottie and his reasons. What is going on with Dario Son-a-***** .. have not seen him play much since Coffee has been brought from Rome. Then again Bilbo PastaCurta is shining as well. I guess that is what happens when we have a squad with players like Alessio Nestle and Paco Martini in D...the other guys like Johnny Laursen have to be happy with a back-up role.
Anyways...Borsa Milan Forever! And Forza Pippo Insalata!
Always...

Interesting article in SockerApe regarding the Best Eleven of Serie A:
Some of our boys made the list ONCE AGAIN!
Briefly,
Marcus ahhChew our defender won notable praise.
Paulie Martini as usual. It even says that Italy coach Trap-a-pony has been calling Martini every week to join the ACCURA squad in the Euro.
Clarvoyance Seal-Door which they labeled as an example of MIlan: class, determination, intelligence, and success.
hUngry Chevy-shake-o - They call him the big game specialist..Roma and now Juve.
Also on the list were FC Enter defender Flabio Caravan-o & living legend Roberto Bragg-io.
What do you think fellow members?? Krick? Land-pop? Giamanna? Biore? A-dude-y? Clariel? hand-jarb? Anybooty??

Come on, you can do better than that. In another forum I was called HenDick. :D
Back to Paulo Inzaghi, I googled the name and found a football player in what I think is a second division team somewhere in either Portugal or Brazil. His team is called U. Lamas. P. Inzaghi actually scored a goal in the game I got hold of, after having been brought on as a substitute in the 41st minute.
Maybe we should buy the guy. :D

In an interview coach Cancelotti said Max AnnBruceLeeni, Generale Gattuso, Adrea J.Lo and all can play in a starting 11, just not the same one. He pointed out that the same goes for Christian ABitchy and Nelson Addidas.
In other news strikers JD Tomatson and BoringChello have entered a bet on who will spend most time on the bench now that Paul Inzaghi is back to fitness.

As the lead (hopefully) widens between our beloved MiHan and the rest of the pack i.e. ROAM-A and You-Vent-on-us we will probably be seeing more rotation as we have some important Milan league..errrr Champions league matches coming up.
Maybe the likes of Johnny Laurssen, Dario Simmer-mitch, Rotondo, Marco Bore-in-yellow, Sir-Gin-io and Broccoli will get more playing time.
:hammer:
P.S.
JimMan-Hen ... I noticed the partnership too.
Inters problems continues and as coach Sucker-oni has not been able to turn things around owner Moron-atti is concidering bringing back old coach Hector Culpa.
Players including Marco Matrix, Ivan Cafe de Colombia, Dejan Stinkovic, Speedy Gonzales, Recobra and Van der Merda very during todays training session practising not scoring own goals.

The following Art-ankle is from

MAN OF THE MATCH: RahRah was instrumental in My-lamb's second goal and was side stepping Pasta's defenders seemingly at will. He created several scoring chances and its no wonder why Ravoili packed his bags; this young man is going to be a scar!

From yesterdays Roma-Lazio Derby:
LaZero defender Massimo Odor was disappointed with what happened this evening in Rome.
"I am very confused because I don't know how things went," he said. "Francesca Hottie came up to us and said that a child had been killed and we had to stop the match".
"We didn't know if it was true," he added. "These kind of things happen only in Italy and I expect that somebody will explain who started it all".
Odd behaviour by Cockie and Crack-ano.
Source: www.suckerface.cum
"03/22/2004. Coma director of sport Franco Bald-Mini-Me insisted that last night's Rome derby with Lasso had to be suspended.
"We were ready to go on and told Vialli-Mania this but he chose to suspend it and I must say under the circumstances it was entirely the right decision," said Barld-Mini-Me.

So, what do you guys think about Joan Doll Tomatto-n? he kicked Adrian Shave-shenkos AWAY from the goal, but then our brilliant Tomato scored two more, albeit with the help of Ricardo Kahka. So, should he replace a Pipi Is-soggy? Or should Pipi be given another chance? Well, our beloved Caca has played as a forward a few times, should he fill in while Andriy Pyrlo-technic replaces Qaqa? All these questions must be answered before tomorrow, and also the problem with our soup A la Sandro Nestle. Replaced by Billy Costalarga? looks likely, but we'll have to see what happens. De-puert-TiVo La Corta-uñas will come out strong from the first minute, so let's hope Paolo Buenini is stron in defence. And let's hope Karla An-chicle-tti stays cool, and sends in a winning team

Secondly, I totally agree with Jure3105: If Paolo Inzaghi thought more about his beer belly and obvious obesity and more about his playing he would be once again the old Pappo we all remember.

Guys, have you seen the Milan-Deportivo game? Great team work!
Maybe the best Milan in the past ten years!
But who was once again the worst player in the Milan squad? Inzaghi!
He WAS one of the best striker in Italy but now he is lost in space. I'm sorry but, my opinion is that is time to change him!

Seriously (for a change) I agree with you that Inzaghi stank like a skunk against Deportivo. He had at least 3 clear scoring opportunities last night that he would have scored on last season.
Having said that, his movements are still right and I am confident that he can contribute to the team in the near future.

the amount of wrong offsides that went against him cant have helped his game at all though. To his credit he kept making the runs, even if they were ultimately to no avail. On another day he'd have scored a hattrick and we would all hail him king of Europe :D
The only issue with Inzaghi is that long term he will lose his initial burst of pace that gets him into many dangerous positions. There are many threads already suggesting alternative strikers so i wont turn this thread into one. I would point out though that its no coincidence that Kaka has scored so much from his deeper role as Pippo's runs create plenty of space for him. Anyone coming in would ideally have to be as good as Inzaghi for movement if we are to get the best from Kaka.

I will take a stand here...I didn't think STANK, STUNK or as :star:Jure:star: would say: STOONKED !\|/\!/
Seriously, for a striker to fail is for him not to be part of the game..to be totally useless...no threats to the opposition..never in a dangerous position and be almost unmarked towards the end. (See Di Vaio :D )
Pippo made the defenders "Kaka" in their pants from his hair line offsides (some badly called) to constantly testing the Defenders reflex and having the goalie to have ONE more person to worry about. I think he created and in the overall scheme of things allowed Kaka and Sheva more room. Yes the finishing was off..but to say he stunk ..come on!

haha I must be the only person that found the idea of Tommasson being a regular in the starting line-up funny. Inzaghi still is one of the best strikers in the world, Larsoon even named pippo as number one in his top 10 strikers.(or should I say Paolo Inzaghi and Jon dahl crappa-son) :zany:
a striker doesnt need to score every game to be good but his moving and passing was good last night and the fans still love him.
Pippo is still one of the best striker is Europe. He's got so many things in progress since moved from Juve.
Along with Sheva, he becomes sharper and more stylish (completely different than his performance in black-white jersey).
Most deffender player doesn't like Pippo's style, that's why Milan needs him to destroy the deffensive wall.
As a major team in Italy and Europe, Milan will face a tight schedule every season. Sheva+Pippo wouldn't be enough. Recently, Tomasson has done a magnificent performance. Ancelotti knows how to manaje his squad. There will be no player to be kicked out from team.
I'm quite sure that Pippo will spend his career in Milan until he retires.

yeah, i suppose in a way Pippo will benefit from the aging process. He'll still be running offside for a while though, perhaps he should wear heavier boots to slow him down a bit :D
Pippo made the defenders "Kaka" in their pants from his hair line offsides (some badly called) to constantly testing the Defenders reflex and having the goalie to have ONE more person to worry about
Its only just struck me but the guy making all the terrible decisions against Inzaghi was the same guy who effectively put Utd out with that terrible decision against Scholes
I can understand EUFA want all nations to be represented by referee's and linesmen but there are standards to be maintained. The decisions werent too costly to Milan yesterday but if it had been a closer game then that linesman could have seriously harmed the chances of progressing...
this thread goes through cool moodswings, from funny to serious to bizarre. It's got a life of its own. :)
In other news Real Mad-Ride beat Moon-Apu, while Arse-Anal managed a draw away to Hell-skies. Arse-Anals coach, Ass-Eating Swinger was happy with the result and hoped to be able to qualify to the semi-finals through a good performance home at High-Doobie.
Moon-Apu coach, Didelididely DeChampagne was not too disappointed about his teams 4-2 defeat, considering that they didn't play fotball.

I have finally figured out Jure3105's Paolo Inzaghi post!!! This is probably the biggest case breaker since Watergate/the Lewinsky affair...think ground breaking.
POINT: Jure is right...Paolo Inzaghi does not deserve to play and needs to get his act together. We just were too simple to see the light.
Allow me to explain and lay out what Jure meant. Sometimes great minds let out ground breaking theories but with all their complexity it does not allow for the simple explanations (the brilliant have no time to explain these notions to the simpletons). That is left to the laymen like us.
A bit of background to Jure's Paolo Inzaghi post:
1973: San Nicolo (Piacenza). Giancarlo and Marina Inzaghi announce the birth of their first son Filippo Inzaghi and in 1976 another son is born: Simone. Both played football and it was clear that "Pippo" as was often refered to by many was the more talented of the two. However, Pippo had this incredible endurance, stamina and burst of speed game after game..week after week and day after day. Inexplicable. Almost unhuman.
The reason:[/B]
On August 9th, 1973 Marina Inzaghi actually gave birth to TWINS: Filippo and Paolo Inzaghi. Like the great men of the world (Elvis and twin Aaron Presley) this was not revealed to anyone because Papa Inzaghi saw the potential of one Pippo Inzaghi to the world but in reality TWO giving them an extra edge on life and calcio.
Pippo and Paolo were raised as one...the world only knew Pippo but what they actually saw was a "variation" of both. Sometimes Pippo would go to school sometimes Paolo. Same for football. Hence the endurance game after game. In their professional career Pippo began to shine while Paolo began to slow down for his hang-up and inferiority complex (nobody knew Paolo and thought he was Pippo). When it was Pippo's turn to play he would pop in goal after goal and when it was Paolo's turn all he could do was complain about the offsides and dive. This explained the 3 goals in one game followed doing nothing in the next game. (Pippo vs. Paolo).
Last year Pippo played most the of season esp. in the CL with those incredible last minute goals, etc. It looked like Paolo was all but finished but he demanded he play this year and Pippo agreed. What we have been seeing as of recently is Paolo while Pippo plays every other game putting in a few goals as always.
How Jure figured out this deep dark Inzaghi family secret is beyond me but lets not question his theory. In fact IT IS time for Paolo Inzaghi to take a back seat and give his brother Pippo FULL playing time. The offsides, the dives, the complaining: all Paolo. The goals, the determination, the effot: all Pippo.
While we were busy with petty jokes like Angry Shev-choo-choo and Silly Pastacurta we didn't realize the full implications of this 30 year conspiracy. Jure it is an honor to have you here...its like Sean Penn attending the Oscars or something of that level.
God Bless you Jure :)

i agree, jure is a visionary. He is simply a genius to have worked this out. I hope this is the last we see of paolo inzaghi on the hallowed san siro turf.
Ace_Mulaan-Moon-them-All, I think you figured it out. Now I can sleep again at night.:D
I have actually noticed both physical and behavioural differences between Paulo and Pippo. Apart from being crap, Paulo is 1cm shorter, has one miscolored tooth (hard to see because he never smiles) and has more hair on his knees. I also notice Paulo diving, running off-side and cursing referees more than his brother. ;)
Ace_Mulaan, you wondered how Jure knows all of this, and IMO there are two possabilities:
1. Jure is really Pippo Inzaghi, trying to get rid of his evil under-performing twin brother.
2. As I have outlined previously in this thread, Jure is really misspellt and should be read as Juve. Inzaghi, as we all know, also came from Juve. Jure knows the truth because he used to work as a physio-therapist at Juventus, where he saw the physical differences between the two twins.:)

I think you have something Hen-Rack...there is more than meets to eye to both the Inzaghi twins AND Jure/Juve/Jury/Juror#3105?! I just hope Jure moves on to bigger mysteries such as Antonio Conte's sudden appearance of hair on his head (another twin?) and the reason behind Serse Cosmi's voice (coach of Perugia...is he REALLY Darth Vader?)

I suggest we bring Paolo out to the world and then sell him back to Juve. For it was Paolo who would dive and be offside when playing for the Zebras. However, it was Pippo who hated Del Piero......

I think the worse thing we can do is allow this thread (thread is too small a word for this masterpiece) to fall down into the afterworld of threads...
I thought the best way would be to post every once in a while on the thread to keep the thread alive but I realized that this feeble attempt cannot match what Jure has given us all....
With my little to NO tech. abilities I did what I could to keep the PASSION alive....

err....jure made this thread to try and make a thread to get pippo out of milan. However, seeing as he didn't even get the name of the player right and didn't backup his points at all, he got pointless replies which somehow just kept coming. Eventually we got the legendary thread you see before you.

haha, I just read the first line of my post and what you said is true, XZorRo.
This is what I put:
"jure made this thread to try and make a thread to get pippo out of milan"
This is what I meant:
"jure made this thread because he wanted Pippo out of Milan."
Hopefully, my post will make a bit more sense now. I guess I got infected with the non sensical logic of this thread. :dontkn: ;) :D

Re: Paolo Inzaghi - Out of the squad
I think that recent played games of Inzaghi are not on his usuall level. The last game against Juve was a disaster for Inzaghi. Not only that he was all the time in offside but he had the miss of a lifetime. My suggestion is that he should be replaced with somebody else, maybe Tommasson! He no longer diserve to be in a first squad team!

I would trade him for Miccoli at Fiorentina
