View Full Version : Season 2004/2005 (transfers/rumours/news)
First a thank you to Rodriguez for starting the 2003/2004 thread. As that season now is over, I thought it would be a good idea to start a 2004/2005 thread to carry the torch into the upcoming season.
(Mods, if you don't think we need a new thread, feel free to delete this one)
Please post any transfers or rumours relating to the 04/05 season here.:)

maybe it would be better if this were a sticky
I know that im goin of the topic here, but because it is relating Milan's future for season 05/06, I thought i post this. The source is AC Milan Online. :eekani: :eekani: :eekani:
Milan are already at work in an attempt to sign Atletico Madrid ace Fernando Torres for the 2005/06 season.
The 20-year-old is considered as one of Spain’s most promising strikers and numerous clubs have been linked.
Manchester United and Juventus are monitoring his situation but the Rossoneri seem to be in pole position.
That is because Atletico reportedly still owe Milan around £17m after signing Cosmin Contra and Javi Moreno in the past.
The Spanish side could cancel that debt by handing over the player who may eventually replace Pippo Inzaghi at the San Siro.
"There is a lot of talk about Milan," stated Torres. "I like them as they are a great side who are used to winning.
"My former teammate Demetrio Albertini has also told me that there is a great atmosphere within the club.
"Yet I’m just used to focusing on one season at a time. I know that I will be at Atletico next season, then we’ll see what happens."
10/06/04 FORZA MILAN
I like the fact that Atletico owes Milan a lot of money. That means we are in no hurry to snatch up Torres. Let him play and develop in Spain, and should he develop into the superstar some of you guys think he will, then we can buy him. Atletico owes us and they know it.

the realy owe us .
They should give him to us for free;)
An interesting item of news.
Milan snoop around Sneijder
source: Channel4
----------------------------------------------------
The Rossoneri have renewed their long-standing transfer rapport with Ajax in
a bid to bring in young talent Wesley Sneijder.
The attacking midfielder impressed during their meeting for the Champions’ League Group phase earlier this season and could be their third reinforcement after the arrival of Jaap Stam and Vikash Dhorasoo.
It’s reported that Milan’s transfer guru Ariedo Braida is already in Amsterdam to discuss terms with the Dutch giants.
They would be willing to release Sneijder for a figure approaching £6.5m, although that could be further reduced by the inclusion of a player in part-exchange.
Sneijder turned 20 years of age last week and is currently taking part in Euro 2004 with the Dutch squad. He would be particularly valuable for Coach Carlo Ancelotti at the San Siro, as he is two-footed and can play on either side of midfield.
Would be a great addition and would continue to liven up our midfield. Lets hope this one is more fact than fiction :D
When we finally will get Torres??? I want to see him in Milan now!!!!!!!!!!! I hope we can get him earlier than Juve and MU!! We are waiting you Torres!! :eekani:
Forza Milan!!!!!!!!! Forza Rossoneri!!!!!!!!! :firedev:
Cassano vor dem Absprung
22.06.2004 11:33:00
Rom.
http://www.goal.com/NewsDetail.aspx?idNews=5299&progr=5
this is from the german goal.com section (formerly known as soccerage)
the article says that cassano will probably leave roma as he is not willing to sign a new contract (old one expires in 2006) and that milan and manU are very interested (whos not??). well that is old nws so far but the article suggests that he will leave this summer. i only bring this because cassano has already quite often been linked with milan and i don't think he wil go to play in EPL as he wouldn't fit there as a player (i think) and the old geezer ferguson is definitely the wrong coach for him.
well i don't know how sure torres is in milan next season but i don't think we will buy both (or will we? whats your opinion). who would fit better with milan? cassano could play as a substitute for inzaghi or kaka and torres instead of andreij or inzaghi.
i think we should wait one more year befor bringing such high profile strikers as ours are really good (if inzaghi finds his form again). if we buy cassano this year we should sell either rui costa (fiorentina??) or inzaghi in order to give him enough playing time. torres is quite impossible this year i guess.
what's your opinion on this?

My opinion?? I think we can get Torres!! But if we could get Casanno it would be cool!! We can get both them but I think it isn`t real chance. :howler:
I'd take Cassano, hands down. He is brilliant. In all honesty, I have not been overly impressed with Torres. I do, however, acknowledge that I haven't seen more than a handful of his matches and he is young and will only improve.

Just read this article from one of the Manchester United fan's forums
http://www.redcafe.net/showthread.php?t=51584
:eekani:
i am glad as it seems corradi will sign for valencia..
it will be interesting who milan will sign as 4th striker, the latest rumour is milan keep an eye on luis fabiano, cossato and... simone inzaghi!
i am wondering why milan are not that keen anymore to chevanton, is it because he doesnt have european passport? i like him, probably his only weakness is he is abit short. the rest he got skills, pace and still young.
also i read that crespo and mutu's future at chelsea are uncertain..
hey how about montella?
i really like to see sneijder plays for milan, but i am not sure if he is needed for next season. he is a rare jewel!
i hope holland win euro2004,mainly because of our seedorf and stam!
forza milan!!!
I`m for Holland too!!! Go Holland!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please post any transfers or rumours relating to the 04/05 season here

I don't think Torres will make in the serie A, so i'd rather go for cassano - cheaper better although he is a bit of an ass.
today we got some serious transfer rumours regarding torres, rui and kaladze. if torres comes i am happy, if not it is ok too..
i am not sure if rui should leave milan or not, the last part of last season and in euro2004, he played very well! he started to score goals for milan and portugal that he hasnt done for quite some time.
kaladze used to be one of the milan's best players...i think we should keep him unless if other club prepares to pay big money.
real tough transfer ya.......kaladze may leave if only we have another great left back ( we don't  ) rui leaves ??? if only we could get Aimar :grinser: torres comes ??? VERY HAPPY and don't wait too long, we know that MU always use a bad way to get their player.....put him now is better.....or..............hmmmm......i heard Mu wanna sell Ruudtje then they could buy rooney.....let's get Ruudtje :rock3:

RvN - Shevagol .. sounds interesting
RVN is my favorite player but I think he can`t play in Serie A!!! We can get Baros` instead he is cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or Cassano one of this strikers enough to be the champions :rock3: :rock3: :rock3:  !!!!!!!!
few times ago..we debate about milan need player who has strong head, then RvN is the best choice for now.....MU is getting closer to sell RvN....if it happen...we have strong and clever striker ( sheva )...fast & tricky ( pippo )...calm but deadly ( tommason )...big,fast with great insting ( RvN )
or...Torres still better than Luis Fabiano ???????????? :cpuke:
btw....consider about ambro position if we are not carefull...we gonna loose him :broken:
van vasten was great on milan...so is RvN
Here is an article about camacho personally calling Inzaghi and asking him to go to Real:
http://www.goal.com/NewsDetail.aspx?idNews=7122&progr=0
Is it not against the rules to approach a player without the club's consent. Makes me wonder if Milan allowed him to call Pippo. :dontkn: Are they considering selling him.
These are words of Ariedo Braida today. (not in the parentheses ;))
Braida claims that despite Milan followed those two players in the past she is not interested anymore, and when asked about 4th striker he answered: "Borriello or Pozzi"
Meaning if Borriello will leave(loaned) the team then Pozzi will replace.
About Totti he said he remains as a dream only. (not mine anyway)
Meanwhile :star:KALADZE:star: refused to move to Bayern Munchen or Sampdoria. :firedev:  :rock3:
Forza Milan!
Kaladze to Bayern it`s great!!!!!!!!!! :tired:
if inzaghi leaves.....then RvN should come !!!! at least Torres.....very hard to find striker as fast as pippo
if kaladze leaves .........any idea guys ?? i just realize that lef back is very extraordinary position :(

Pippo will not leave and RvN will most certainly not come. When last did ManU and Milan do business?
Torres maybe, but more likely next year. Milan and A.Madrid has a good relationship
You are right, LB is an extraordinary position. Milan has Pancaro (Italian NT), Kaladze (Georgian NT and voted in the top 5 LB by UEFA in 2003) and in emergensies Maldini (the greatest LB of all time). Not too bad. Anyway Kaladze will not go to Bayern, he has publicly stated that he is not interested in leaving. :)
seems like the milan transfer's campaign will be over once they confirm the 4th striker. i tend to make it simple, either use pozzi or buy experienced italian striker, like cossato, cipriani, protti, lucarelli, montella etc.., as long as they have acceptable goal rate, like at least 12 goals per season.
so our dressing room will be peaceful.
or another alternative, transform serginho as striker! even kaka can play as second striker.

12 goals per season is not only acceptable, but outstanding. Anyway, I agree with the general point of keeping it simple. That is unless we can get Crespo for free (not even pay his salery) as reported on www.channel4.com today. Silly rumour but a sweat dream. :hmmm:
Serginho has actually played both striker and trequartista at Milan. And did it well too. I don't think he could repeat it though.
DECO...
Mourinho want him to Chelsea, but I had read that Deco is on his way
to Barca.  :dontkn: It will be interesting to see in which club
he will play next season. :googly:
Deco To Join Barca On Tuesday...
from www.goal.com
Reports out of Portugal are suggesting that Barcelona and FC Porto have successfully negotiated a deal to bring Deco to the Nou Camp.
Fernando Gomes, a high ranking FC Porto official, was in Spain on Friday where he met with Barcelona president Joan Laporta and vice-president Sandro Rosell. The meeting reportedly lasted two hours and here’s what the two clubs have agreed on:
Barcelona will pay FC Porto 20 million euros and give FC Porto out-of-favour winger Ricardo Quaresma on loan for one season. GOAL.com can exclusively reveal that Ricardo Quaresma has already agreed to join FC Porto.
So with all that already being official, all that needs to be agreed upon is Deco’s contract with Barcelona. Barca will reportedly double his current salary, an offer that the Portuguese international will likely not pass up.
When asked about his pending move to Barcelona Deco said, “we will talk about Barcelona after Euro 2004.”
Deco has gone on record in the past as saying he has always dreamed of playing for Barcelona.
Nice news guys Kaladze stays in Milan!!! He won`t going anywhere!!!!!!!!!! :eekani:
yes it is nice to see kaladze stays at milan. good on u kaladze!
i read on the news today, milan chase chelsea trio! lampard, hasselbaink and crespo.
lampard is the best out of three. however there is no guarantee of place for him. his position is centre midfield, so he will compete with pirlo, while pirlo has been outstanding for milan.... there is no way lampard plays in the wings! just waste of talent! the only possibility is pirlo and lampard alternate each other. it will be exciting if he joins milan, he is the best midfielder in england.

Lampard with not doubt is very good player .. but we cannot forget that momentally we dont need midfilder .. we just need one striker .. and that probably will be Crespo ..
I know Milan have many world-class midlefielders and not need Lampard now but although he is great player and Milan can get him!! I know that he plays in Piro`s position it`s problem too! :mute:

Pirlo plays betwen Defence and midfilnd .. like a playmaker.. formula of Ancelotti that worked well last season :) so if Lampard comes he should take Seedorf place .. but such for Seedorf we have Ambrosini
Chelsea will not sell Lampard and they will not sell Terry. These are the only things we can be sure of when it comes to Chelsea (maybe I will have to eat those words later, but I like my odds of being right :))
I know that Chelsea won`t sell Lampard and Terry. But it will be very very good if Lampard join us!
yes honestly we dont need midfielder now, if we do need one midfielder, it should be a winger, since we only have 1 natural midfield winger, thats serginho.i think we may need one! maybe overmars?
so our main issue right now is still back to who our 4th striker is!
Hey, it says on milans official website that we are close to Ferrari. :dazed:
Does anyone know what thats about?
zlatanov
15-07-2004, 19:51
They refer to the granddaughter(?) of Enzo Ferarri, this has nothing to do with Matteo Ferarri who already signed for Roma.
OK, thanks for the info :)
but we still need defender right ???? ferrari escape is fine but maybe we have to sign heitinga immediately before he's gonna be more expensive or re-call collocini....he playe\ fine in Copa
IN WHAT POSITION PLAYing Alex(Brazilian)!! We can get him. He is talanted and good player! What about him??? :dontcare:
well dave, Alex kind of great play on the left side but if we have to buy another non-UE player this season...i prefer Diego ( kaka's back up ) coz for this position ( AMC ) we just don't have many players.....but i really concern with our back side they just getting older...
i mean...on the right side we only have Cafu which simic can't play as well as cafu on the right...on the left back we only have Kaladze ( he is not a real left back ) and we can't push serginho as left back coz he just to aggressive.....and all the cetnre back just OLD ( maldini,stam,costacurta.... ) i think heitinga and collocini should be ours this season...i heard phillips lahm and Hinkel is great...also Luca Rossentini
by the way......do you think we should get Tevez ??? i mean he just great on Copa America
by the way......do you think we should get Tevez ??? i mean he just great on Copa America
Honestly I never heard about Tevez. Who is he???? But I like to see Alex in Milan. :strong:
And in left-back we have Pancaro!

The one who plays against us in the Intercontinental Cup earlier this year. His team was Boca Junior. Many hails him as the new Maradona. I think he is about 19-20 years old.
Bagus5, that sounds too much like CM. We can't afford to change the whole team just like that IMHO.
I heard on BH Sport that Kezman, Peter Ceh, young Holland star Arjen Robben and Drogba are new Chelsea players.
Geez.. how many striker does Chelsea need?
Can't take it if Adrian Mutu is benched..
:scream:
Abramovich is crazy he buy every player he wont like he is playing FA Manager. :grinser:
Tevez is a great potential..but we are linked with more established players for next season such as Torres... but Tevez will do great whever he goes..I watched him play several games with boca, world cup qualifiers, and coppa america and he is great..
Can someone tell me what is with Gilardino???
Is he still in Parma???
Is there any chances to buy him???
:dontkn:
Officially Gilardino is STILL in Parma.
His contract will be expired next season and recently he refused to sign a new contract offered by Parma management.
IMO the biggest chance to sign him belongs to Juve. Otherwise, we don't need more striker, so It wouldn't be necessary to sign him.
gilardino just reject to extend the contract but i don't think he is the right choice, am i to CM??? i just heard something good about hinkel and Lahm...we already scout diego since last year and heitinga just wanna play in italia...we can afford it

That was a pretty old rumour, that noone at Milan has bothered to comment. I wouldn't worry about it
Thanks for the follow-up, Henrik! That story did sound kind of weird...
heitinga just wanna play in italia...
Damn, I live in Holland and read almost every interview which is related to Ajax. Yet as always it seems ppl abroad know more than me. News: Heitinga has extended his contract with Ajax till 2008 and is planning on spening at least 2 more years at the club.
ya....to bad heitinga extended his contract....hmm....still figure out who is gonna be a better sign for milan for back side

Lazio's president Lotito is preparing to sign a great defender, the messican 25years old Rafael Marquez from Barcellona via Milan. He said so during the presentation of Di Canio in a press conference. Milan pays for the transfer fee and part of the player's salary.
(If it happens, it means Milan are investing for the future)
i think that is a good deal. i think he comes for a relatively low fee and we can watch him in serie a where he can prove his worth. but i don't understand why we don't give collocini to lazio instead or in addition. he is probably as good as marquez and he would cost no fee as he is already ours.
Yes good plan!! Hey guys I didn`t know that colocini played for Milan? :lick:

I have seen Coloccini many times in La Liga .. he is an average player .. plays some excellent games .. and sometimes he plays like he don`t know how to mark a man.
Maybe he is getting better in about 4 years or something.. or else he should be material for Inter :)
Ps. Please don`t write about his performance in Athens .. you cannot judge that against crappy teams :D

I agree totally on his qualities and consistency issues in La Liga.
Maybe a swap Coloccini for Cannavaro is in order, as Inter seems so eager to get rid of Fabio. ;)
hei guys...if we want to swap him....swap with heitinga not another old player, remember we are not just play 4 this season.....or swap with hinkel :)
I heard that Morientes is coming back to Real, I don't know is this true????
mirza...that's old news,he already got back for a month and now he has to compete with owen,raul,ronaldo...great ha ?!?!?!?!?!
hei....back to collocini, he is 22 years old....of course he still need more time to find the stability....give him a chance
IMO it`s better that Milan will give him to another team and get more talanted and good player! :firedev: :firedev:
Forza Milan!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that Coloccini is good.
Our defense is old and we need young players so I think that will be great to have Coloccini in Milan!!!
from Channel4:
Abbiati open to Palermo move Saturday 21 August, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Christian Abbiati has finally accepted Palermo’s advances, so negotiations with Milan can now begin in earnest.
“I spoke with Luca Toni and Simone Barone during the Italy get-together in Iceland,” revealed the goalkeeper.
“They convinced me that Palermo is a great club to play for and I’d happily join them. The final word now rests with Milan.”
The Rosanero have been actively seeking out Abbiati throughout the summer, but had always seen their proposals rejected.
It seems that now Abbiati has realised his chances of first team football at the San Siro are limited by Dida and that Palermo’s star-studded squad can be a force in Serie A this year.
The Rossoneri will not release him without an adequate back-up for that reserve role, but Palermo could have the solution already within their grasp.
The Sicilian club has also agreed a deal to sign 30-year-old shot-stopper Matteo Guardalben from Piacenza this afternoon and could hand him over to Milan as part of the Abbiati deal.
In other transfer news, Lecce have bought out half of Genoa striker Sasa Bjelanovic's contract.
From Channel 4
Milan duo want out Tuesday 24 August, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Christian Abbiati and Kakha Kaladze are considering their futures with Italian champions Milan.
Both men are only squad players at the San Siro right now and an exit may occur given their hunger for regular football.
"The club want to keep me but I want to be a first team regular," said goalkeeper Abbiati (pictured).
"I have already reached an agreement with Palermo and I now just hope that the Rossoneri will allow me the opportunity to play there."
Milan will probably only release the international if they can find a replacement for him in the next week.
Meanwhile, Kaladze is also unhappy given that his chances of appearing have been reduced by Paolo Maldini’s return to the left-back role.
"If things continue like this then I will leave in January," said the Georgian. "I don’t want to wait until someone gets injured or for Maldini to have a rest.
"It isn’t nice to always be named as a substitute. I am 26-years-old and I don’t want to waste my career."
In other transfer news, Palermo have signed midfielder Cristian Raimondi from Albinoleffe.
According to a swedish fan site, it is now OFFICIAL (???) that Coloccini will return to Milan after the Olympics. Hopefully we can get better support for this news from other sources.
I heard for that on BHSport but I don't know 100% is that true. But I think that would be great. He was good against Italy.
From Channel 4:
Milan block trio exit Wednesday 25 August, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Milan have told Christian Abbiati, Kakha Kaladze and Christian Brocchi that they won’t be leaving the club.
All three men are keen on an exit but Vice-president Adriano Galliani insists that their requests to leave have arrived too late.
"Our market operations are over," he stated. "No one new will arrive and nobody will be leaving.
"Abbiati (pictured), Kaladze and Brocchi will remain here with us because it is just too late to find replacements of similar calibre.
"If a player wants to leave because they are being left on the bench then they must tell us sooner as Martin Laursen did."
Abbiati, No 2 behind Dida, has been hinting that he would like to leave the San Siro for the newly promoted Palermo.
Brocchi is being linked with Lazio, while defender Kaladze is apparently an objective for Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Fabricio Collocini is looking forward to being a part of the Milan squad again after spending the last few years on loan in Spain.
"Milan are a great side and I am a better player than four years ago," said the Argentine Olympic Games defender.
"I have matured greatly recently and I am now ready to play for Milan after spells at Alaves, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal."
From Channel4 on the Abbiati mess:
Abbiati calms Milan rift Thursday 26 August, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Christian Abbiati has looked to make peace with Milan after some controversial comments appeared on his personal website.
It had appeared as if the goalkeeper had attacked his Coach and teammate Dida, as his frustration at being left out of the side grows.
An article on the site stated that Ancelotti had not kept his promise to the ‘keeper and that the Brazilian made errors in a recent friendly with Sampdoria.
But Abbiati has today insisted that he wasn’t the author of the piece, adding that the site’s webmaster was to blame.
"In a bid to really find out what happened you will need to speak to my agent," said the shot-stopper.
"That is because I never speak to the person who looks after my site. I would never judge one of my teammates. Dida is a friend and a great ‘keeper."
The webmaster himself has since taken responsibility for the article, adding that it was simply an opinion piece.
Abbiati’s future at the San Siro has been in doubt over the last few weeks given his current situation.
He has asked to be sold to Palermo, in a bid to play regularly, but Milan insist that he has left it too late to leave.
Meanwhile, there are reports today which suggest that the Rossoneri could sign a new striker before the transfer deadline.
They have allegedly asked Roma for the loan of Vincenzo Montella given the fitness worries over Pippo Inzaghi.
Brocchi staying with Milan Thursday 26 August, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lazio have failed in their attempt to sign Cristian Brocchi after he committed his future to Milan.
The midfielder had said that he was keen on a capital switch but he’s now been convinced to remain.
"This situation came about because I didn’t feel very important anymore," said the former Verona winger.
"But I have had a meeting with Coach Carlo Ancelotti and Vice-president Adriano Galliani to clear the air.
"I had a good offer but Milan is like a family to me and I now feel like a key member of the squad again.
"I would stay with the Rossoneri for the rest of my career if it was up to me to decide."
In other transfer news, midfielder Fabio Pecchia has officially left Bologna for Serie A rivals Siena on loan.
While Messina boss Bortolo Mutti has extended his contract with the newly promoted outfit until 2006.
From SkySports:
Simic wants England move
MilanCroatian defender Dario Simic has admitted that he may start looking for a new club and it is understood that he favours a move to England.
Simic's possible move comes after he has found himself playing in Milan's reserves after falling out of favour with manager Carlo Ancelotti.
"My status is uncertain although coach Ancelotti told me he wants me to stay," Simic told Sportske Novosti.
"I think everything will be much clearer in the next couple of months, although, to be honest, I started thinking about leaving, but it cannot happen before the winter," he added.
The 28-year-old has played in Serie A for four years, initially with Internazionale before moving to rivals Milan in 2002.
He enjoyed a successful start to his Milan career but recently has started to lose his place and is now to be seen playing for the reserves.
After four years in Milan, the Croatian international is thought to be keen to continue his career away from Italy, although his current contract runs until 2007.
"After Inter and Milan, it doesn't make sense to play for any other Italian club. I think that a good future lies in England," he said.
Simic is not the only Milan player who is keen to secure regular first team football, possibly away from the club.
"Abbiatti, Brocchi and Kaladze have raised their voices, but I doubt that the club will let anyone go as the transfer period is ending and there wouldn't be time left to buy replacements," explained Simic.

Abbiati off to Lazio? Friday 27 August, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are more conflicting reports over the future of Christian Abbiati after he was today linked with Lazio.
The Milan man is unhappy at being a reserve at the San Siro and is known to be keen on a move.
The goalkeeper had stated that he wanted to join Palermo but the Rossoneri insisted that he would remain - given that they would struggle to replace him so close to the transfer deadline.
However, whispers circulating in the peninsula on Friday claim that he could now be on the verge of joining Lazio.
Milan are ready to release him to the capital club but only if they receive Angelo Peruzzi in return.
The 34-year-old recently signed a new contract with the Biancocelesti but he could be tempted by a switch to the San Siro.
The problem is that Peruzzi is guaranteed first team football in Rome but would be the second choice behind Dida with the Scudetto holders.

Brocchi May End Career With Milan
8/27/2004 5:33:00 PM
At the end of a week of transfer speculation that has seen Christian Brocchi linked with a move away, the player has stated that he may now see out his career with Milan.
"I stayed out of it in the last few days as I felt less important and then calmly confronted our coach and Mr. Galliani," he was quoted as saying on the club’s official site. "I had an excellent possibility but Milan are a family for me and I have been made to feel important by the club and coach which pleases me. Maybe I will stay at Milan for the rest of my career."
Brocchi has been linked with Lazio.
It`s very good that Brocchi stays in Milan.
Is it true that Cana now will play in Juventus???
Canna to Juvemerda????????????????????????????
:wth:
Canna to Juvemerda????????????????????????????
:wth:
Yea, I know, it kind of sucks. The good thing is that it makes Inter weaker. Who are they going to play as CBs, Matrix and the Evil Serb?
Who are they going to play as CBs, Matrix and the Evil Serb?
Matrix, Evil Serb :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I think that Mihajlovic will play on CB.
Matrix is Mihaylovic??????? :argue: Ha-ha or no!
But it`s bad that Canna in Juve it is very bad for us! Juve will have strong deffense agaon! :sob: :faint:

But it`s bad that Canna in Juve it is very bad for us! Juve will have strong deffense agaon! :sob: :faint:
Matrix is Materazzi.
What are Inter doing? I know Fabio aint really hit top form during his time at the San Siro, but I still rate him as one of the best defenders in the world, as soon as he plays for Juve I bet he totally returns to form! But I doubt it will be the Evil Serb and Matrix at the back for Inter, remember they but Burdisso, supossed to be a young Walter Samuel!

Ancelotti pens new deal Tuesday 31 August, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has extended his contract with the Rossoneri until the summer of 2007.
"I’m very happy," said the former San Siro midfielder. "I had no doubts about signing. The adventure and the dream continues."
The 45-year-old has been a massive success since his shock appointment in November 2001.
The former Juventus Coach was all set for a return to Parma before Milan swooped at the last minute to secure his services.
He’s led the club to the Champions’ League, the Coppa Italia and the Scudetto all in the space of two seasons.
"We are carrying on with tradition," said Vice-president Adriano Galliani. "Ancelotti is a part of our family."

Zaltan to Juve
Luis Fabiano to Porto
Roony to ManU
Mido to Roma!!!
and what about us?!!....still need a striker but i can't see anything :dontkn:
I trust the management so..good luck
Inzaghi is not as injured as many seem to think. I seems very unlikely that he will be out for more than a couple of months. Given that we have Sheva, JDT, Crespo, Pozzi (and even Kaka), I don't see a need to get another striker.
Milan has officially announced the signing with Rodrigo Izecson Dos Santos Leite 'Digao', the younger brother of Kaka, on loan from Sampdoria. Digao will join the youth team coached by Franco Baresi.
This is taken from the ACMilan.com flash news ,, i looked into the youth team's records i found no trace of him ,, any body knows any thing about this digao?
I heard that he is some thing like 191 CM height ( or even more , im not sure , but im sure he is 190+ ) , and plays as a defending midfield .. that's what i heard , any body knows any thing more?

And where is Coloccini??!!
Now Juve have very strong squad and it`s dangerous for us! And Inter is continuing to get on my nervs! In Armenia there are a lot of Juve fan`s one of them is my brother! :embarass: What can I say they haven`t any taste(chashak in Arm.)

Juve now is getting strongger and strongger with Ibrahimovich and Cannavaro, especially they swap my favourite coach, Mr. Capello. He was one of the best coach in the world, he have many tactics that can make Juve to be the scudetto. Inter also getting strongger in the midfield not like last season. This season will be hard, but i believe with milan squad now. Collocini must back to milan to cover our old defender, Kaladze must not move to other club, maybe milan must add a breaker in the midfield. We only have Gattuso and Ambrossini, the other was offenssive midfield.
I`m a bit scared by the fact that juve not only got "Zalatan" but also cannavaro at the last min. They are stronger now, and may be a hard to crack this year! And let`s not forget Capello, remember him!! :wallbang:
In Armenia there are a lot of Juve fan`s one of them is my brother! :embarass: What can I say they haven`t any taste(chashak in Arm.)
In the Bosnia is the same situation, there is a lot of Juve fans (my 2 best friends are Juve fans, 1 is Man utd fan) I know only 3 pearsons in my town who support Milan.
Ibrahimovic to Juve. NOOOOOOOO
That is the worst news I have heard in last month.
F*****K JUVE and F****K Ibrahimovich... :frustrat:
Never liked him...
Why do you hate him??
Even I don't hate him!!!
I say even I because Ibrahimovic is Bosnian but he play for Sweeden.
...because Ibrahimovic is Bosnian but he play for Sweeden.
He might play for Sweden because he's actually Swedish. My mother comes from Finland, but that doesn't make me a Finn...
He is Bosnian, his parents are from Bosnia.
He decided to become Swedish because our stupid coach didn't wont him in representation, and Sweden call him to play for them.
I don't have nothing against him he is great player. Sweden is happy to have player like him.
Many Bosnian players play for other countrys. ( Mirza Dzomba who play handball for Croatia is Bosnian....)
In my eyes, your nationality is decided by what citizenship you hold, but YMMV.
Anyway, no use in arguing about that. :)
It will be interesting to see how juve chooses to play this year. I am guessing a 442 with Trez and DP up front or a 4321 with DP and Zlatan behind Trez. I doubt that Capello would play a 4231 with Nedved, DP and Zlatan behind Trez, allthough thay would make a lot of sense.
Yes it`s really very interesting although it isn`t our problem. Our problem is only to beat Juve Inter and Roma!!!!!!!!!!!!
Forza Milan!!!! Forza Rossoneri!!!!!!!!! :firedev:

Yes He's great. He just scored 4 goals as Sweden beaten Malta 7 - 0.
In my eyes, your nationality is decided by what citizenship you hold, but YMMV.
That isn't true, he is Bosnian and he will always stay Bosnian for me whatever hapend.
Reason for that our players goes to other countrys is that my country does't have money for sport so my gouverment don't invest money in sport.
I hope that better time will come for my country.

torres is a super star/true,
but according to the place where i get my info- gilardino has said he would like to move to milan, and milan want him.
possibily 'gila' could come to milan in january.
check out www.fcitalia.com- its mostly in italian, but there are english articles- all about the serie a
There have also been some new reports about Milan and Cassano for next year. If we could get one of Torres, Gilardino or Cassano next summer that would be fantastic. Cassano tops my list, but is probably least likely to come to Milan.
WOW, i just only just read that Juve have got Cannavaro and Ibrahimavich. they will definately be our biggest rivals this season.
From this tree(Cassano, Gilardinho and Torres) I prefer Cassano!!! Though I would be satisfied to see Gilardinio or Torres in Milan! :firedev:

Milan ponder Gilardino bid Wednesday 8 September, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Parma transfer chief Luca Baraldi has failed to rule out a Milan move for Alberto Gilardino next summer.
"We are just thinking about this season right now," stated the Stadio Tardini official on Wednesday.
"Gilardino has decided to stay at Parma and he’s satisfied with the decision which he has taken.
"This is of great satisfaction to us as it was always our objective to keep a competitive squad together here."
Gilardino hit the headlines last season after he netted an amazing 23 League goals for the Gialloblu.
He then helped the Under-21 side win the European Championship and an Olympic Bronze medal.
That saw him heavily linked with moves to both Roma and Juventus but he decided to extend his Parma deal until 2007 instead.
However, speculation in the peninsula suggests that Milan have already contacted the club regarding a future offer.
The reigning Italian champions are apparently pondering a bid in an effort to land him for the 2005/06 season.
Tom pens Milan deal Wednesday 8 September, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Italian champions Milan have today extended the contract of striker Jon Dahl Tomasson.
The Dane had 24 months left on his previous deal but he will now be tied to the outfit until June 2009.
Tomasson is the latest player to renew after Andriy Shevchenko and Clarence Seedorf also recently put pen to paper.
The forward, 28, has been a surprise success at the San Siro since his free move from Feyenoord in 2002.
Despite not being a first team regular, he has developed into a key figure at the club.
Yes it`s good. IMO he will be useful player for Milan! :rollani: Wish him to play well in this season!

Milan duo join Napoli Monday 13 September, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Serie C1 side Napoli Soccer have convinced Milan to loan them two players for the new season.
The Rossoneri have confirmed that youngsters Ignazo Abate, a midfielder, and striker Nicola Pozzo will remain at the Stadio San Paolo until 30 June 2005.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I imagine the mean Pozzi. Good opportunity for both players though
It`s good for them they will have some skill after 1 year loan! and they will update their game.
From Soccernet:
Roberto Gotta's Serie A Guide
Roberto Gotta
Serie A at last! After Italy's poor showing at Euro 2004 and another gambling scandal, it was about time the old routine came back.
Fans will perhaps cast a more sceptical eye on some of the stars of the league, after seeing what they could not do in Portugal, but the U21's won their European Championship and with Marcello Lippi's new Italy getting full points from their first two World Cup qualifying matches there's glimpse of hope.
Again. I will be focusing on specific matters, as usual, in the coming months, but for a start, here's now a bird's eye view on all the Serie A sides.
Atalanta (Coach: Andrea Mandorlini, 44)
From the outside, it has sometimes looked as if Atalanta are so used to yo-yoing to and from the top division that nothing really fazes them.
Not so, obviously, but again they're resurfacing in the Serie A and trying to stay up without breaking the bank. Typically for Atalanta, they have a greater number of home-grown players than any other first division side.
It was therefore a good thing to bring in Demetrio Albertini as a wise head in the middle of the pitch. Central defender Cesare Natali (25) is a rising star, after a good season on loan at Bologna. Their 4-4-2 could easily go back to a 4-3-3 which was used last season.
Expected line-up: Taibi; Innocenti-Natali-Gonnella-Bellini; Zenoni-Albertini-Marcolini-Montolivo; Saudati-Budan
Bologna (Coach: Carlo Mazzone, 67)
They represent your typical Serie A side not named Milan, Juventus, Inter, Roma or Lazio: with no chance of winning the Scudetto, their goal is staying up while spending as little as possible and trying to give fans a decent time, but nearly a quarter of season tickets were not renewed despite the arrival of Euro 2004 winning captain Theo Zagorakis, obviously not someone who'd have fans rushing to the ticket office.
And, at 33, he certainly did not help lower Bologna squad's average age, the Serie A's highest. Local lad Cipriani is back after a season-long loan to Sampdoria, and he could be an exciting addition in the forward line, but expect Albanian Igli Tare to play as a lone striker most of the time and Mazzone to tinker with a lot of different lineups.
Expected line-up: Pagliuca; Daino-Petruzzi-Torrisi-Sussi; Nervo-Zagorakis-Giunti-Bellucci; Tare-Cipriani (Locatelli)
Brescia (Coach: Gianni De Biasi, 48)
De Biasi likes a 3-4-2-1 so there will only be minimal variations adapting to each opponent. Brescia haven't been involved in a real relegation dogfight for a few years, but one wonders what will happen now Roberto Baggio has retired.
Gigi Di Biagio, one of the Serie A's most experienced players, will again provide a fighting presence, and newcomers Adani, Domizzi, Almeyda and Milanetto - who played under De Biasi at Modena - should make sure the Rondinelle (Little sparrows) will stay above water.
Expected line-up: Agliardi; Adani-Di Biagio-Zoboli; Martinez-Milanetto-Almeyda-Domizzi; Sculli-Del Nero; Caracciolo
Cagliari (Coach: Daniele Arrigoni, 45)
They had the quietest summer among the newly promoted clubs, with limited transfer activity and proceedings dominated by events off the pitch.
First, the dismissal of promotion-winning coach Edi Reja, who was replaced by Serie A rookie Daniele Arrigoni, then the prolonged contract negotiations with Gianfranco Zola, still the side's most influential player.
A lot of players are making their top flight debut this season and it looks like Cagliari will struggle, despite the promise of a three-pronged forward line with last season's top scorer, Honduran international Suazo.
Expected line-up: Katergiannakis; Lopez-Maltagliati-Loria-Agostini; Abeijon-Brambilla-Albino; Esposito-Zola; Suazo
Chievo (Coach: Mario Beretta, 45)
A huge season for the Verona team, who for the first time are starting a Serie A campaign - their third overall - without their talismanic coach Gigi Del Neri, who left for Porto but was sacked before the end of July.
The club was heavily involved in the gambling scandal but somehow emerged without crippling sanctions. Debutant coach Beretta has had to work with a poorer squad than the one which Del Neri left: Italy midfielder Simone Perrotta was sold to Roma and central defender Andrea Barzagli joined Palermo, a double sale that brought much-needed money to a club that will always have to endure second-citizen status in its own hometown.
It could be a make-or break season for midfielder Matteo Brighi, who so far has not fulfilled expectations despite playing for Bologna, Brescia, Parma and Juventus; he's on loan from Roma, this time.
Expected line-up: Marchegiani; Moro-Mandelli-D'Anna-Lanna; Semioli-Baronio-Brighi-Franceschini; Tiribocchi-Cossato
Fiorentina (Coach: Emiliano Mondonico, 57)
After all the troubles they (or rather their former owner Vittorio Cecchi Gori) inflicted upon themselves, the Viola are back in their element, the Serie A, and they will not pass through the season quietly. Owner Della Valle did not spare expenses in handing coach Emiliano Mondonico a side which could challenge for a European place.
Mondo's biggest problem may be finding time for all of his quality players, among them Enzo Maresca and pint-sized Fabrizio Miccoli, who'll be playing with a huge chip on his shoulder after Juventus - who still hold his registration - denied him a chance to establish himself alongside Ibrahimovic.
A steady presence from the last two years outside the top flight is centre-forward RiganÜ, an apparently limited player who blossomed at 30.
Expected line-up: Cejas; Maggio-Ujfalusi-Dainelli-Chiellini; Obodo-Maresca; Jorgensen-Nakata-Miccoli; Rigan (Portillo)
Inter (Coach: Roberto Mancini, 39)
You'll hear fans say 'this is our year, at last', but you may have heard that before from the Inter camp, so everyone's trying to keep a low profile.
Mancini had been a target of owner Massimo Moratti for years and has been given a good squad for his beloved 4-4-2. His reputation as a coach of entertaining sides will be tested, though, more so should they hit a bump along the road.
Still, the quality is there for a run at the Scudetto, which has been missing from the legendary nerazzurre shirt since 1989, or forever. Adriano could be the Serie A's best player this year.
Expected line-up: Toldo; Zanetti-Cordoba-Materazzi-Favalli; Ze Maria-Veron-Davids-Stankovic; Adriano-Martins
Juventus (Coach: Fabio Capello, 58)
Deadline day swoops for Ibrahimovic and Cannavaro meant Juventus' hopes got better than they had been all summer.
Despite his suspect performances over the past two seasons, the Italy captain can provide some sense of confidence to a defence which has been lacking some, with last year's top signing Legrottaglie approaching 'bust' status quickly.
Emerson and Blasi will boss the middle of the pitch while it will be interesting, to say the least, to see how Capello fits Nedved, Ibrahimovic, Trezeguet and Del Piero into the side.
Expected line-up: Buffon; Zebina-Thuram-Cannavaro-Zambrotta; Camoranesi-Emerson-Blasi-Nedved; Trezeguet-Del Piero
Lazio (Coach: Domenico Caso, 50)
Survival was the summer's priority for Lazio, who saw their coach and some of their best players leave.
Financial stability was only achieved late, and nine signings were made on the last day of the transfer window, giving new coach Domenico 'Mimmo' Caso a decent squad but one that will not challenge for the Scudetto, as Lazio had done in previous years, albeit briefly.
Lifelong fan Paolo Di Canio was brought back to provide heart and passion, and good things can be expected by striker Tommaso Rocchi.
Expected line-up: Peruzzi; Oddo-Negro-Couto-Seric; Zauri-Giannichedda-Liverani-Cesar; Inzaghi-Rocchi
Lecce (Coach: Zdenek Zeman, 57)
The Delio Rossi era is over, and iconic coach Zdenek Zeman - more on him soon - goes to work with a squad that underwent deep changes from last year's. Gone are top scorer Chevanton and midfield dynamo Tonetto, and the forward line looks like a question mark with youngsters such as Bojinov (18) and Vucinic (21) partnering Bjelanovic. Finnish up-and-coming star Aleksei Eremenko is one to watch.
Expected line-up: Sicignano; Cassetti-Stovini-Paci-Abruzzese; Eremenko-Ledesma-Dalla Bona; Konan-Bjelanovic-Bojinov
Livorno (Coach: Franco Colomba, 49)
Expect something outrageous from Livorno, who started well with a draw at Milan. Their fan base, although prone to excessive political characterization among the 'ultras', is among the most passionate in the whole of top flight football, which they haven't played in since 1949, and every game at their stadium will be something to remember.
Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi is a fan and has promised to attend the first home match against Chievo on Week 2.
The squad was too good for the Serie B but was ever going to excel in the A, and some experience was added. The forward line of Cristiano Lucarelli and 38yr old Igor Protti provided 53 goals last season, but will find it tougher this time out
Expected line-up: Amelia; Grandoni-Vargas-A.Lucarelli; Balleri-Vigiani-Vidigal-Cordova-Giallombardo; Protti-Lucarelli
Messina (Coach: Bortolo Mutti, 50)
Everything's new for newly-promoted Messina, starting from the stadium: the modern San Filippo replaces the cavernous, claustrophobic Celeste which, legend goes, provided the red-and-yellow an intimidating environment worth a handful of points each season.
Now they will have to do with quality, and there could be more than expected, in the squad. Summer signings Conte, Donati and Zanchi will be relied upon to steady the ship.
The two all-Sicilian 'derbies' against Palermo will be among the highlights of the season.
Expected line-up: Eleftheropoulos; Zoro-Fusco-Conte-Parisi; Rafael-Mamede-Coppola-Donati; Di Napoli-Amoruso
Milan (Coach: Carlo Ancelotti, 45)
Milan's quest for a repeat Scudetto and a great run in the Champions League could only be undermined by injuries and grumblings among some of the players who will receive fewer minutes from Ancelotti. Some of those grumblings have already been heard but the club was quick to let the 'rebels' that no one was leaving.
Inzaghi's ankle troubles make him a question mark, and Crespo must establish himself. Stam's arrival is a literally huge one, although his presence means the central partnership of Maldini and Nesta has been broken up.
Expected line-up: Dida; Cafu-Nesta-Stam-Maldini; Gattuso-Pirlo-Seedorf; KakÆ; Shevcenko-Inzaghi
Palermo (Coach: Francesco Guidolin, 49)
The most interesting among the newly-promoted sides, and their strong showing in the transfer period has left them in a position to challenge for a Uefa Cup place.
Coach Guidolin, not the liveliest character, clashed with flamboyant owner Zamparini before the season had even started, but things could get interesting on the pitch, too, with at least one good, experienced player in defence, midfield and in the forward line.
Eugenio Corini is the wise head in the middle of the park and Luca Toni should provide the goals up front: he scored freely last year in the Serie B and bagged Italy's late winning goal against Norway a few days ago - in Palermo.
Expected line-up: Guardalben; Zaccardo-Barzagli-Accardi-Grosso; Santana-Corini-Barone-Gonzalez; Zauli; Toni
Parma (Coach: Silvio Baldini, 45)
After last year's near bankruptcy, the very fact Parma are playing in the Serie A is a matter of pride.
They lost a few good players but they will have top scorer Alberto Gilardino at least until January, and late addition Massimo Maccarone will help him.
Coach Silvio Baldini is good at working with youngsters and some of them - Bovo, Budel, Rosina, Ferronetti - could be a hit. Gloriously, they have decided to don the traditional shirt for home matches in the Serie A, white with a black cross spanning the front. Bless them.
Expected line-up: Frey; Ferronetti-Bonera-Bovo-Junior; Bresciano-Grella; Marchionni-Morfeo-Maccarone; Gilardino
Reggina (Coach: Walter Mazzarri, 43)
All change at Reggina after a couple of successfu attemps at avoiding relegation. Most of the players who contributed to those campaigns have gone, and the coach is new, too, Mazzarri, who led Livorno to the Serie A last year then decided he'd take on the top division at the helm of another club.
Look for Japanese midfielder Nakamura to increase his influence, and the forward line of Bonazzoli and Borriello could benefit from it, but this is a side that must answer a few questions. Expected line-up: Pavarini; Cannarsa-De Rosa-Franceschini; Mesto-Colucci-Tedesco-Nakamura-Balestri; Bonazzoli-Borriello
Roma (Coach: Rudi Voeller, 44)
'Roma's turbulent summer' should become a trademark sentence. Things started getting hot in late May, when Fabio Capello left for old enemy Juventus. Emerson also joined Juve after nearly walking out on Roma and causing a stir in the Capital. In late August, coach Cesare Prandelli asked for a prolonged leave of absence to stay at the side of his wife, who's battling a tough illness.
Prandelli was replaced by former fan favourite Rudi Voller, then Roma struck on the last day of transfer activity by signing Mido from Marseille. They should still challenge for honours, and Totti will again be asked to provide the quality, especially so after a hugely disappointing Euro 2004.
You get the feeling Cassano is going to matter more and more, though. And let's keep an eye on former Parma captain Matteo Ferrari in central defence: his rep as one of the rising stars in Italy has been damaged by a few mistakes he's made in the last few months.
Expected line-up: Pelizzoli; Panucci-Ferrari-Mexes-Chivu; Perrotta-De Rossi; Mancini-Totti-Cassano: Mido
Sampdoria (Coach: Walter Novellino, 51)
A good side with a great fan base and wise heads pulling the strings behind the scenes, they look ready to make a run at a European place, which they missed last year by fading in the last three matches.
Fabio Bazzani will again be partnered by the livewire Flachi, and quality has been added in defence with Marcello Castellini and Pisano. A nice side to watch last season.
Expected line-up: Antonioli; Sacchetti-Castellini-Falcone-Pisano; Diana-Volpi-Palombo-Doni; Bazzani-Flachi
Siena (Coach: Gigi Simoni, 65)
A chaotic summer, with Siena and some of its members involved in a gambling scandal which for some time made people wonder if they'd still be a Serie A.
Another huge problem was Brazilian Taddei's clash with the club over his desire to join Roma, which ended with Taddei staying in Siena but - for the time being - left out of the squad.
Coach Gigi Simoni, one of the most experienced in the business, still has a decent squad highlighted up front by the partnership of Flo and Chiesa.
Expected line-up: Manninger; Cirillo-Colonnese-Mignani-Falsini; Camorani-Pecchia-Vergassola-Ardito; Flo-Chiesa
Udinese (Coach: Luciano Spalletti, 45)
They will again be one of the Serie A's most quietly efficient sides, making few noises but creeping up in the top half of the standing, in sight of a Uefa Cup place which seems to be their goal each year.
Losing Jorgensen to Fiorentina was a blow and Jankulovski only stayed because Udinese could not agree terms with some of the top sides - some of them abroad - who were looking to sign him, but some late, good additions were made in the shape of former Empoli trio Cribari-Belleri-Di Natale.
Expected line-up: De Sanctis; Bertotto-Cribari-Kroldrup; Alberto-Pinzi-Pizarro-Muntari-Jankulovski; Iaquinta-Di Michele
whatever they say bout milan....but milan now stroger with collocini.....finally :1ole:
at least if we need to mark player with speed he could do that but he still 22 so don't give him to much pressure..also to kaka and i think ancelloti should rotate kaka with costa
I yesterday heard on TV that Milan want to sign youth players! The 2 of them from Atalanta! :p1510:
who dave ??? i really worry about our back line....lately so fragile...maybe ancellotti should put maldini on left and give a chance to collocini standing beside nesta
I don`t remember their names but I know one of them is 20 and second 22. :moan: :mex:
I don`t remember their names but I know one of them is 20 and second 22. :moan: :mex:
22 is no youth.
22 is no youth.
Sorry my mistake! :pr78:
Mutu is available......get him now !!! and return crespo !!!
Mutu had 1 good season for Parma, Crespo has proved himself over and over again. No comparison for me.
For me neither, get Mutu at once! :D ;)
Mutu is available......get him now !!! and return crespo !!!
mutu will probably end up at juve. a loan deal in january is not out of the question. we should have patience with crespo. he is not fully fit yet. he is nearly back to full fitness. we can judge him then. i am very confident he will play well for us. he has scored goals wherever he has played

I wouldn't write Crespo off just yet. He has not had a chance to prove himself yet. Milan has tons of games still to play and a player like Crespo on the depth chart is great to have.
Channel4.com reporting on Stam/Roberto Carlos swap rumour:
Cagliari return for Stam Thursday 7 October, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Milan are confident that Jaap Stam will be available for the Week 6 trip to surprise package Cagliari.
The summer signing from Lazio has been sidelined for the last few weeks with injury but he is close to full recovery.
"Stam is well on the road to full fitness and it shouldn’t be too long now," said Milan medic Jean Pierre Meersseman.
"He is doing fine and there shouldn’t be any problems. He is very hopeful of being available for the game against Cagliari."
The San Siro giants look like they certainly need him after a shaky start to the new season defensively.
The side have often been caught out on set-pieces and the stopper’s imposing figure should certainly help to rectify that problem.
However, Stam’s name has today been linked with Real Madrid who are allegedly planning a January swoop.
The Madrid outfit apparently want Stam and are ready to make a £13m offer, or £6.5m plus Roberto Carlos.
The chances of that move though seem pretty slim given that the former Man Utd ace has only just arrived in Milan.
Is that true that Morientes moved to juve?
why not just sign carlos outright i think!
do we need roberto carlos ??? for 1 year only maybe....enough with old back,we need someone younger and strong like Parisi or Lahm for left side. bout Crespo...hmmm.......i just thinking that the way he play will change the whole team play.......he just a great finisher but ancelloti wants all striker move free role...but maybe you are right guys...be patient to him
btw i heard that we gonna try to buy cassano ??? i still prefer Mutu...
do we need roberto carlos ??? for 1 year only maybe....enough with old back,we need someone younger and strong like Parisi or Lahm for left side
one word: CAFU
besides he is younger than the brazlian captain isnt he?
im pretty sure he would stay here for like 3-4 years
IMO Maxwel will be oK too.
P.S. I heard (my brother told me(he is Juve fan)) that Moro moved to Juve. Is that true. He said he read it in fcjuve.com! :mute: :u31:
maxwell is fine.....but i heard something good about parisi, hmm.....whay i don't consider roberto carlos beside of his age..lately he played not that well..i mean if we could get i new and young left back that would be a good investment !!! lamy years ago Milan always put a very strong young player such Maldini.....
why don't we just try again ???
OK what about Morientes???( I mean his Juve deal!) :argue:
I've heard that Milan has contacted Porto regarding their midfielder Maniche. Has anyone else heard something about this?
I yesterday heard on TV that Milan want to sign youth players! The 2 of them from Atalanta! :p1510:
Giampolo Pazzini and Riccardo Montolivo. I don't know if they are any good, but i'm sure they have some talent otherwise Milan wouldn't sign them
:dontkn: or so i hope...
i love maniche but we dont really need him, i was hoping barca would sign him.
Maniche would be great.
But he is cup tied, so no midseason move anyway.
Maniche will be good player for Milan.
from tribalfootball.com :
AC Milan prepare approach for Porto's Maniche... :v408:
...
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has posted a scout to track Porto midfielder Maniche leading up to the winter market.
Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti wants to strengthen his midfield in January and Portugal international Maniche tops his shopping list.
Galliani has already sent a high-level scout to Portugal to follow Maniche and will soon have intermediaries sound out the player about the prospect of a move to the San Siro.
Milan chiefs are aware that Maniche is settled at Porto and that money isn't the be-all-and-all for the Euro2004 star.
:r11:
maniche is great but i prefer mascherano.....he is a great combination between redondo and cambiasso
Btw Dhorasoo might leave Milan in January! Did you know this? :1old:
dhorasoo leave ??? too bad..i saw that he could do something for milan but the competition is to strong for him, btw i think our Milan is getting slower right....Tommasson and crespo should know that make a goal or screw opponent defence is not Sheva's job only.........against Roma is made me sad......all player lost their "soul" ( include gattuso )
i was thinking about get someone fresh like sytchev aor Mutu....maxim could do something too.......and one more...we should find a replacement for seedorf...he doesn't show his consistency and while we lost stam give collocini a chance
go get mascherano !!!!!!
I agree that Coloccini should get a chance. It is a bit sad that Costacurta (who can do the job) allways gets to sub ahead of Coloccini who both need the encouragement and the chance to play next to Maldini or Nesta to learn.
Dhorasoo has been discussed enough in his very own thread.
hoping ancelotti see the potential of Collocini,i think even costacurta realize that his time is running out...so we should push collocini first...our back line need somebody fresh coz once again the way we play really give the back line a very big pressure if the midfield lost their mind ( lately seedorf do that )

billy is far from an useless oldie..he's still pretty good even now
billy is far from an useless oldie..he's still pretty good even now
I agree, but the point is not that he is useless, but rather that to be able to build on the future, we need to let Coloccini get to play a couple of games now that Stam is out.
I agree, but the point is not that he is useless, but rather that to be able to build on the future, we need to let Coloccini get to play a couple of games now that Stam is out.
Agree wit you Henrik! Let`s give Collocini chance IMO he will do everything for Milan!
:D
agree with u dave...i believe Billy still could give an extraordinary shot for milan but it's time for collocini, btw i think we have to consider jankulovski and Mutu.....our left side need somebody fresh and powerful coz when seedorf lost his mood we put serginho and the way we play totally change but janku could give the same pressure like seedorf give....and Mutu could be a good partner for Sheva or you maybe prefer robinho or Adu ???
Jankulovski is surely a great player, but I'd prefer to stick with Kaladze. Not necessarily because he is better, but because he is good and I like continuity. That's one of the things that make us better than Inter.
With Gilardino,Teves, Torres, Cassano and possibly Bojinov on the market, I don't think Mutu is on the minds of the Milan management.
i was gonna mention jankulovski here... but to an extent on his issue i agree with henry! :D
ya henry....i see your point, i just see the way we play where all the midfielder need to play free role sometimes...i think janku could give his best shot coz kaladze is more like Left Back than left midfielder...
bout Mutu....i think with his condition he really needs club right ?? he knows italian football and milan......mean probably we could get him without tons of dollar
but if we have to throw out more money........tevez and Torres and Sychev are good player to consider very soon...on january !!!!!!!!!
Hopefully Gilardino and Bojinov move 2 Milan.Crespo can go back 2 Chelsea and Tomasson can move back 2 the Dutch league. In June next year,Milan can sign Rosicky 2 replace Serginho and Dhorasoo. The Defence is ageing and Milan need 2 look 4 replacements.
The future Milan squad:
Dida
Danielle Bonera Nesta Stam Johnny Heitinga
(Parma) (Ajax)
Pirlo
Gattuso Seedorf
Kaka
Alberto Gilardino Shevchenko
(Parma)
Substitutes:
Defence:Paolo Cannavaro(Parma),Coloccini,Cesare Bovo(Roma),Pancaro
Midfield:Brocchi,Ambrosini,Rui Costa,Tomas Rosicky(Borussia Dortmund)
Strikers:Valeri Bojinov(Leece),Filippo Inzaghi
The Defence is in good condition. I would have complained last year when we did not have Stam nor Coloccini. The only part that i would be warried about is Cafu. If he stays with us and keeps it up, then I do not care. However if he leaves or if his form droppes because..........he is not supermen.....then we will need an immidiate replacement for him. Other then that...I do not know why people say our defence is aging. Nesta is the best defender in the world and will be the best for ages to come! :de3: Stam is 32, which isn't young, however he definetely has at least another great great season in front of him. We do have Coloccini who is only 22 and we do have Kaladze who is 26. Nesta, Coloccini and Kaladze are all under 30. Stam will be a rock for another 2 years.
We do not need Heitinga, Bonera, Bovo and Cannavaro. That is just too much! This many changes for a defence can just do harm. The defence is the most important part of the field. They communicate with the whole team. And if they do not know how to play with each other at the back....then they can not pay attention to everything else on the field, and they NEED to. They have to command everyone on the pitch. Who to pick up...where to goo...what to do!!! If we pick up 4-5 defensmen next year, it will be a disaster. Only because they will be warried about each other's styles more then about what is going on on the field in front of them.
All we need is a replacement/substitute (depending on if he is going to leave or not) for Cafu......and another central defender to fill in Costacurta's spot. Why change everything else when everything is working.
Yea..Pancaro is old, but we have a 26 year old Kaladze that can start and has proven to be one of the best in his position. Pancaro can be his replacement. Nesta can play with either Maldini or Stam....while Coloccini and the signing can fill in whenever needed. Or if they can step up...then they can even strat some games. Cafu can play....and his replacement can give him a great deal of rest whenever needed. Only if Cafu leaves, we will need another player on that position, given that i know nothing about Simic and what will happen with him.
I will not give suggestions for who we should get...but all I am saying is we need only 2 guys in the defence. THAT'S IT. Anything more then that can only do us harm. Also, these two players should not be world stars. They can be someone cheap that can fill in whenever rest is needed. Only Cafu's position can be considered as a more needed one, so the management can allow themselves to spend somewhat more on that. I would say somebody that is not a STAR...however that can get a lot of time behing Cafu and then slowly take over the starting position. If Cafu leaves, I suggest to bring in a young player from either our youth accademy or other accademies and make him a back up in that position which will allow him to grow.
A lot of people do not realize this, but our midfield may be a problem. I know that we have all of our starters returning and young......still to hit their prime. However...... Rui Costa, Dhorasoo, Serginho, and possibly Brocchi might all be leaving next summer. This leaves us with our starting midfield of Seedorf, Kaka, Gattuso and Pirlo together with Ambrisini.....who if does not get a lot of time, might want to leave too. We all know that every summer there are rummors surrounding Ambro and I see no reason this one to be different. Suprizingly this leaves us with only our 4 starters. I will not give any suggestions, but those of you out there commenting about our defence........please give our midfield a second look.
Lastly our attack!! Not much to say. We will see Insaghi's form when he comes back from the injury. JDT and Crespo are both deep in mud right now...and if something does not change with these two.......then we might see drastic changes in attack as well next year. We are all waiting for Insaghi's return.....however who knows which Pippo we will see after 2 surgeries in one year(i think). I just hope the Pippo we all know comes back. If that is the case, then we will definetely have him and Sheva. If not, then there will be some serious problems in our attack......because not even Sheva can keep scorring on and on and on and on and on!!!!
That's about it right now. I have not written in a long time......even though i read MilanMania daily. I am glad to see some of the older members posting again. Mange!! Haven't read a lot from you in a while. Harroon's posts are always awsome! There are a lot of good posters out there.......however some of you need to clean up your act. I hate reading people cursing out players and our coach when we lose. It is just a huge immature act. Then when we win....they are the first ones to congratulate. I get mad too and yell and scream at the players because my passion for this club is huge. However.....if you have to curse and call out player's names, please do not do it in a disguisting manner! It is ok to say that a certain player did not do well, but please choose your words properly!! Maybe this is not the place to open a theme for something like this, but i just do not want to start a topic for something like this. It is more like a wake up call to the "little kids" in the forum!!!
As always!!!
FORZA MILAN!!!!!
IMO selling JDT is not a good idea! We need only one or two good striker/s!
Btw Juve sign Mutu I heard it on TV. :swars:

Well, I do not say so. As I already said somewhere in other thread, we have only four young defenders. And at least we should have eight.[Billy, Paolo, Stam, Cafu and Guiseppe are very old].
IMO we should choose from Chivu, Mexes, Bonera and Canna Jr.
hei...nefremo, cool down...we don't curse any player here..we were talking abou t future transfer rite ???
rae is right...we need more youngster on the team, coz we can avoid that on age 30 all player getting weeker...i mean i still can see Maldini sometimes can't hide his weekness againt the young ones en all our defence starter are old
yes we got problem on the midfield cos the way we play ( all midfield should play free role ) we really need all fit player every game, if one of them not fit or in bad mood...then our midfield will screw the game ( remember defeat againts depor ??? ).....the midfield in Milan play harder than other team coz they are the key of defence also the offense......
for striker....i only see that Sheva is the only one that really matter, find another striker !!!!!!!!!!!111
Our defence seriously needs a change by the end of this season.Maldini is 36.Costacurta is 38.Cafu is 34.If u ask me,this could be the last season for the 3 of them to play competitive football. After that, who will replace them?
Heitinga looks to be a good substitute for Maldini.
Bonera looks solid at right back.
Bovo seems to be a good investment in the long run
Braida,Berlusconi and Galliani i hope you are all reading this
Braida,Berlusconi and Galliani i hope you are all reading this
Who is Braida?? I never heard about him.
Yes Milan need yung players I`m worry about that!
Forza Milan!!! :w200:
Braida is Milan's Sporting Director
On young players: Milan was seriously burnt buying young talants like, De Ascentis, Graffieda, Comandini etc after the Scudetto in -99. It seems only established pro's have been bought in the last few years.

For God sake! De Ascentis, Graffiedi, Comandini etc. again no! :p146:
The management won't make the same mistake again.
Milan, F. Torres immediately. For the left band it pleases Riise of the Liverpool
The Milan decided to change entirely the left band in the next season. Already taken Santiago Solari, destined to rescind the contract col Real Madrid, now the club rossonero started a negotiation - that has excellent possibility of to go in port - for the Norwegian outside Jon The Riise of the Liverpool. The gambler, 24 years, has a contract with the Reds until 2007 objection its prosecutor Einar Baardsen is doing the possible one to carry it in Italy, operation already tried in 2001 when the boy passed from the Monk to the Liverpool. The management rossonera would have proposed an exchange: for some time, in fact, the society of the anfield Road é interested to Kakha Kaladze. But if the arrivals of Riise and Solari represent the future of the left band, the Milan should work for the immediate (that is for January) on the attaccante. In the last weeks there they were some strong motions on Fernando Torres, the young talent of the athletic one Madrid and of the Spain, for some time in the viewfinder of Braida and Galliani. The Spanish, to the moment, Gilardino in the preferences climbed rossonere and could arrive in loan with law of ransom. Controcampo.
[goalcity]
Milan, Torres in the viewfinder The Spanish near the rossoneri
The Shevchenko dependence of the Milan does not indicate to calm itself. After the two balances and the zero gol realized without the ucraino, the rossoneri returned to win and to mark actual in concomitance with the I return some bomber. A sweet "illness" from that the society of road Plugged understands to cure hairpin curve on the market: although the denials, seems more likely the purchase of a novelty attaching to January and Fernando Torres is the objective one number.
The young talent of the athletic one Madrid, considered an of the more promising stars of the Iberian soccer, is for some time in the viewfinder of the management rossonera, that not cannot take fit of the situation lived from the offensive department milanista. To mark it is remained, to the moment, the only Andriy Shevchenko. Kakà has not sin here found the levels of the past season, so like Tomasson. Crêpe, up to now, disappointed not little, while Pippo Inzaghi will be compelled to stay motionless to the box for beyond a month. Make is that of 18 gol put to mark in championship 9 were marked from the ucraino, whose absence from the fields is coincided with the two partial beaten of stopping against Rome and Brescia.
The man in peak to the desires of the Milan, Alberto Gilardino, less than sensational blows of stage, will not be moved from Parma before the next June, the that pushed the managerial milanisti to beat the foreign track. Already I continue with interest during the summer, Fernando Torres seems actual to be the just man for give weight to the attack milanista. To favor the transfer of the point to the court of Ancelotti also a credit that the milanese club I brag towards the athletic one, surely an element that could favor the transfer to Milan of the point: I am quite 23,5 millions of euro those that the Spanishes have to still to the Milan for the transfers of Javi Moreno and Contra. To ensure itself the services says "El No", however, Galliani will have to battare the competition of the Chelsea of Abramovich, that has dedicated to the second squad of Madrid quite 35 millions of euro.

Milan fans all over the world!
Please listen up.
Berlusconi just said that he won't sign any more players in January. He has closed the transfer window.
Oh please!!!!!!!
Ascentis,Graffieda and Comandini are nothing compared 2 Heitinga,Bonera and Gilardino.Although,i do feel that it would be better,if they were around 23 years old.In that way, they would be more mature in dealing with the pressure of playing for a big team like Milan.
Look at Sheva,he moved 2 Milan in 1999 when he was 23 and he was an instant hit.Gilardino will be just like him if he moves 2 Milan next year in June.
It`s petty that transfer window closed for Milan :fero: .

Nothing is absolutes as changes, one can say Milan won't sign anymore player at January, but the truth will be revealed on 31st January 2005. Let's sit and wait.
you right sheevan......just wait and see....i'm still dreaming that sheva would have new partner this season while pippo can't play, honestly..i almost give up with crespo and tommasson ( hoping it was wrong )
Torres and Sychev are interesting
If I`m not mistaken Sytchev now plays in Marseile well I think it`s good idea!

All 3 were in Italy's U21 squad and were very promising indeed, very much like Bonera is now. Gilardino is obviously allready a proven star, so I agree on that one. The point though is that it is very hard to know which talants will bloom to actual stars. Milan had a poor track record in that department a few years ago and hence opted to buy established players instead.

I thought that gilardino would be the one and only signing this winter but mr Galliani believes we don't have a scoring problem.
Can't he see that the only one who scores is Shevchenko and we depend on him?Gilardini is the most talented young forward this period and we must get him before a rival does like Juve or Inter.
He can learn many tricks from Sheva and Pippo.
I think it's a great solution to our scoring problem.
IMO to but Mr Galiani says no new signings in January!
dave..sytchev back to spartak now, well which one do you prefer ?? giladino or Pozzi ??? i prefer pozzi....big man with speed but need more experience.....he could be like inzaghi in bigger size
He is yunger?? or older? :devs: Anyway I hope he will play for us and he will play good! But Gilla is very good I prefer him than Sytchev!

yep, cuz Pippo was quite small in size...:lala:
From Channel4.com:
Max ponders Milan exit Tuesday 23 November, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Massimo Ambrosini is considering leaving Italian champions Milan at the end of the season.
Although he’s been with the Rossoneri for nine years, the Italian international is struggling for a regular first team shirt.
"I can’t be happy with this situation as I have rarely featured so far," he told the Corriere dello Sport newspaper.
"Nevertheless, I know that the competition for places will always be very tough at a club like this.
"I regularly think about my future and I’ve already spoken to the club officials about it given that my contract expires in 2006.
"I do want to play more often but I’m also aware that this is a club which guarantees a player great benefits. You can't get much better than Milan.
"A transfer? If the situation doesn’t change and a few concrete offers arrive then I will evaluate them."
The former Vicenza player has attracted transfer interest in the past with Juventus apparently keen.
However, the midfielder also has fans abroad as both Real Madrid and Barcelona could consider bids.
Meanwhile, Milan are said to be tracking River Plate youngster Maxi Lopez. The striker is tied to the Argentine club until 2006.
____________________________________________________________________
Time to let Max go. He is a great player, but he is not happy with Milan anymore. This is not the first time he hints of departing. Let's include him in a trade with, Barca, Roma or Parma for Ronaldino, Cassano or Gilardino...

Supreme idea.... if Galliani wont listen to you he will be named a typical fool from blue side of Milano....
IMO we should keep Ambro! :kap: :kap: :kap: :kap: :fart: :r14:
IMO we should keep Ambro! :kap: :kap: :kap: :kap: :fart: :r14:
The question is if we can. I would have agreed with you if Max himself would have wanted to stay, but it doesn't seem so.
Personally, I thought Ambro was getting more than enough playing time. if he wants anymore then maybe he should start playing aswel as the other mids which he definately isnt. Real were interested in the past and seen as they dont have a DM maybe we could swap him with Solari. :pp20:
It`s a good idea to awap him with Solari! If he wants he can go to Real! :1avs:

would be a idiotic deal, to give Real just what they need to get a reserve. Now I like Solari, but his contract is out in the summer, should we give them a Italian national almost for free and strenghten them a lot?
Personally, I dont think Solari would remain a reserve. hes one of the most underrated players in the world. I take your point about giving up an international though.
on another note:
Ronaldinho opens Milan door Monday 29 November, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Barcelona ace Ronaldinho has fuelled speculation that he could be set for a future move to Milan.
The Brazilian is known to have real admirers at the San Siro and he’s admitted that the Italian side attract him.
"I like Milan because there are many of my friends there like Dida, Cafu, Kaka and Serginho," he’s quoted by the ‘Controcampo’ newspaper as saying.
But would Ronaldino fit in with the Rossoneri, given that the Scudetto holders already have Kaka on their books?
"It isn’t true to say that Kaka and myself can’t co-exist," stated the international, who added that he’s happy with life at the Nou Camp.
"We play together for Brazil where we have shown that we can be fielded simultaneously without any problems."
Meanwhile, former Milan boss Arrigo Sacchi is today being linked with a sensational – if unlikely – move to Spain.
The Parma official is apparently a contender to be appointed as the next boss of European giants Real Madrid.
President Florentino Perez is understood to have the name of the former Italian national tactician on his shortlist to succeed Garcia Remon.
We havent spent big on a single player in a while now. If we do decide to then, Adriano would be my first choice, but Ronies not far behind.
What Ariggo Saci to Real???? IMO it`s uncredable!
solari not good enough for us...lahm much better, can we find someone from italy ?????
Solari not good enough?
He'd probably be a starter - even if only for set-pieces.
seems we agreed a deal with jankulovski. as per channel4.
anyway, i wont beleive it unless it is on acmilan web.
Is jankulovski any good, what kind of left back is he attacking or defensive.
he is the same kind of serginho but only better in terms of consistency.
and he acts well defensively as well............
news is also on goal.com now.
ok, so would he be similar to a seedorf then maybe a bit quicker, in that case I would much rather take Solari at the end of the season for free

Real chase Capello ... :wow: Tuesday 15 March, 2005
Real Madrid are reportedly looking to re-sign Juventus boss Fabio Capello in the summer.
The Spanish newspaper Marca today claims that the European giants have Capello’s name at the top of their wish-list.
Real chief Florentino Perez is under pressure to make significant changes after another disastrous campaign.
The Madrid outfit are pretty much out of the Liga race, are no longer in the Coppa del Re and were defeated by Capello’s Bianconeri in the Champions’ League last week.
Current boss Wanderley Luxemburgo may now be shown the door and Perez has his eyes on ‘Don Fabio’.
Capello, who only moved to Turin from Roma in the summer, has already proved his worth in Spanish football.
He spent one year in the country with Real in the 1996-97 season and instantly delivered the League title.
However, his proposed appointment may not be accepted by the fans after a poll in the AS newspaper suggested that 65 per cent were against his re-appointment.
Other possible targets for Real include Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, who won the Liga and UEFA Cup with Valencia last term.
Milan’s Carlo Ancelotti is another possibility given the presence of technical director Arrigo Sacchi, his former Milan Coach, in Madrid. :wow: :2whis:

Anchelotti will never go to Real(IMO)! :embarass:
I saw some of the Dutch youngsters when Holland played England. I thought Castelan was excellent, a very pacey, tricky winger/forward. He scored twice at the weekend i think. There was a youngish right-back or centre-back against England that was quite good too.
I saw some of Huntelaar when Heerenveen played Newcastle in the Uefa cup, he looked really sharp in the first leg.
If you add all the ones you mentioned TheDutchMan along with the regular Sneijder, VDV, Hetinga, etc, etc ...... there's alot of good young players in Holland right now.
I would like to see Milan make a move for Ferrari. I think he'd be an excellent purchase. Maybe we could get him and loan him back to Parma for a year to sweeten any deal for Gilardino ? I know it's greedy of me, but lets hope for both of them :D
I haven't seen the youngsters you are talking about Jim, but I allways did like Sneijder. I thought he could be a great back-up for Seedorf. Now that Jankulowski is coming, that move seems more unlikely (even though positions are different).
Ferarri? Not too sure, he hasn't done much good this year. He clearly needs time to play to get back his groove. He is not a Costacurta, who can come off the bench and perform well. Your idea of loaning him back to Parma is excellent!
I like Sneijder too, i think he's quality and i'd love to see him at Milan eventually. Maybe another Dutch Holy Trinity of VDV, Sneijder and Robben/Makaay :ilol:
I never thought too much of Jankulovski playing in Seedorf's role before, but i'm sure he could deputise if we didn't have anyone else. Good plan Henrik !
As for the Ferrari thing, i thought he hadn't played many games at all this season, but in fact he's played 25-30, according to the site i looked at. I'm glad you liked the idea :D It would be a reasonable deal for everyone, Roma get some money and they don't see Totti, Cassano, Chivu (their main stars), Parma get their best defender back, which makes the loss of Gilardino slightly easier to bear, Ferrari gets to play in familiar surroundings and would be first choice all the time ... and we get both Ferrari and Gilardino (and Jankulovski ... maybe Cassetti :D) ... Everyone's a winner !
When Kaladze was injured I thought Jankulowski was going to replace him as LB. Now I have a feeling that Jankulowski will play a sub role both as LB and as midfielder on the left (a la Serginho). What Serginho will do (now that his contract has been extended) I don't know.
Ferrari has played 25-30 games? Interesting...
PS. I got this sudden urge to merge the Beckham, Essien etc rumor threads into this one, but resisted the temptation.
I checked the official Roma site and it says Ferrari has played a total of 20 games in all competitions so far this season. How up to date that is, i'm not sure. So i was wrong by a few games.
I think that Jankulovski will start as left-back and Kaladze will be sub, although it could be the other way around to start off with, to give Marek time to get settled in. I just hope we get him, would look kind of silly if we missed out on him now :D
Milan A:
-----Gila - Sheva
--------Kaka
--Seedorf-Pirlo-Gattuso
Janky-Maldini-Nesta-Cafu
----------Dida
Milan B
----------Pippo-Crespo
---------------Rui
--Sergihno-Ambrosini-D'horasso
Kaladze-Costacurta-Stam-Pancaro
-----------Cudicini?
Looks pretty strong, but I doubt that we will get both Gila and keep Crespo
PS. Who is that in you avatar Jim?

actually i think after his heroics this season it would be really stupid to let go fo serginho despite the fact that we 99% got jankulovski or janky in ur case :zany:
and about ur lineup henrik, i dont think stam will be 2nd choice, hes getting back to form and i think hell play more than u seem to make it look i think well have the same backline as the general idea but jankulovski will feature alotttt because u dont always have our big 3 defenders and seedorf always fit at the same time.

Stam in 2nd squad???? Do you crazy Henrik! He is one of the best Defenders in the world and you put him Milan B! :stupid: :nervous:
Stam in 2nd squad???? Do you crazy Henrik! He is one of the best Defenders in the world and you put him Milan B! :stupid: :nervous:
I guess that proves how strong our defence really is...
who would you put in our 'B team'? nesta or maldini...
coz stam isn't a winger, and isn't that offensive as cafu andjankulovski are
Stam in 2nd squad???? Do you crazy Henrik! He is one of the best Defenders in the world and you put him Milan B! :stupid: :nervous:
Yup, I am one crazy SOB, CRAZEEEEE :hammer:
Seriously though, either you have to 1) bench Nesta or Maldini or 2) move Maldini to play LB. As 1) is out of the question 2) would mean that we would have 4 LB back-ups (Kaladze, Jankulowski, Serginho, Pancaro)
Maldini doesn't particularely want to play LB and Cafu is too good to be benched on the right (plus Stam doesn't want to be RB). This leaves Stam on the bench. I just couldn't find anyway around it with our formation. Sorry to upset you Dave :( :)
i think what ur lineup shows is the general idea of our team for next year, but i think the starting lineup will be the same is the current one only gila in place of crespo
It's a stand-up comedian called Peter Kay Henrik. He's one of my favourites. Recently there was a charity night called Comic Relief, anyway, Peter Kay did a comedy pop video to an old country+western song and the public liked it so much that it got released and within the week it was at number 1 in the charts. All proceeds going to charity of course :D

Crespo nears Milan move
Chelsea’s Hernan Crespo is a step closer to making his loan move to Milan a permanent one.
The Argentine forward has been in sparkling form recently and the champions are very keen to retain his services for next season.
"I’m very optimistic," said Crespo. "I have almost agreed terms with Milan, all that is left is to find an agreement with Chelsea over my transfer."
Crespo’s agent has been in negotiations with the Rossoneri for the past month, after the striker netted some crucial goals in both Serie A and Europe.
Reports suggest that the Italian giants have offered Crespo, who is currently on international duty, a contract until June 2008.
There could be further developments by the end of next week with a meeting scheduled between both clubs.
The two parties will use those talks in an attempt to agree a reasonable transfer fee that satisfies both Milan and Chelsea.
The Blues, whose boss Jose Mourinho would still like the player at his disposal next term, signed Crespo from Inter in 2003 for a massive £15m.
Milan could try to tempt Chelsea to sell with a cash plus player bid, which may see left-back Kakha Kaladze move to Stamford Bridge.
comic relief??? .. isnt that a show for ali G ??? ... because i downloaded his interview with beckham and posh and he asks them to bone each other and he says its for comic relief .. for charity :haha:
There's a Comic Relief every 4 or every 2 years, i'm not sure which. The Ali G thing was one of the older Comic Reliefs.
On channel4, they have an article about Esposito looking for a Roma move, i wish we would try to sign him. I think he'd be an ideal replacement for Serghino in a year or 2.
From Channel4: Anybody know more about this fella?
Milan vie for Hugo Viana
Saturday 26 March, 2005
There are strong reports that the Rossoneri will be making a firm bid for Newcastle-owned flop Hugo Viana in the summer.
Magpies chairman Freddy Shepherd travelled to Portugal this week to discuss the 22-year-old’s future, but it looks as if Sporting Lisbon – where the midfielder is currently on loan – will be unable to meet the £5m asking price to make the move permanent.
Milan are now showing a marked interest after director Ariedo Braida formed a comprehensive scouting dossier on Viana.
Porto and Benfica are also willing to keep him in Portugal, but the Serie A giants provide a very different allure.
Viana’s attacking tendencies from midfield will fit into Carlo Ancelotti’s tactics and the youngster could step in for his fellow countryman Manuel Rui Costa.
The former Under-21 international was signed by Newcastle for £8.5m in 2002, but failed to settle in to the Premiership.

Viana was in the same batch as Cristiano Ronaldo and Ricardo Queresma. All 3 were tipped to be the new golden generation for Portugal but as you can see, neither really performed up to expectations except maybe Ronaldo. Queresma didnt make the cut in Barca and is now somewhere in Turkey or France if i am not wrong. As for Viana, he wasnt shown the same amount of opportunity to play as Ronaldo had in Manchester hence we wasnt able to see much of his performances.
Ronaldo's play is fanciful, Queresma is temperamental while Viana's play is pretty subtle (from a couple of games i seen him play for Newcastle). But i cannot judge just by these couple of games hence wouldnt really say he is cut for Milan. However, if he is given a chance and perhaps under the guidance of Rui, he could prove to be a valuable asset to the AM department for Milan.
i dont think we should risk it when u have better players like pizzaro on the market... by the way quaresma now play for porto.. he joined them this season in a deal which saw deco go the other way.. porto got some money as well offcourse
Viana had some good games for Newcastle, but as previously said, he didn't take to it to well and didn't perform near his best. I've seen him play a couple of times for Sporting Lisbon and he was good, some nice touches, good skill, etc, etc. Although he could play more central midfield, he's still mainly a wide left winger, like Quaresma and Ronaldo (although they do swap sides). So if anything, he might be seen as a replacement/alternative to Serginho rather than any of our other midfielders. Someone to offer width, pace when/if we need it. Rui could help him overcome his home-sickness, but i would still rather see us go for Esposito.
i dont think we need any of them... i think we should get jankulovski, gilardino and pizarro
Milan Tracking The 'Next Maldini'
3/27/2005 8:43:00 PM
AC Milan are reportedly eyeing who many consider to be the great Paolo Maldini’s heir, Marco Motta.
The Serie A champs are thinking of already siging the young Atalanta prospect this July, but might end up waiting another year before snapping up his services.
The more they wait, the more the Rossoneri will probably have to fight off the challenge of other suitors, but they are pretty confident the player is already in their hands given the great relationship they have with the Atalanta management.
Motta greatly impressed in Friday night’s match that pitched off the Italian Under 21 team against their Scottish counterparts.

Milan's greatest strength in my opinion has been the continuity of the team.
I have always thought that Inter's greatest problem has been the 6,7 or even eight new players they have to try and intergrate into the side.
I also think that you do need to change personnel every year to keep it fresh.
We do have several 'golden oldies' in the side and made need a few younger legs bringing into the club.
Obviously we are going to try and get Crespo to stay, but Moriniho may get his own way!!
Gilardino looks like a done deal so the forwards are well taken care of.
Tommason would go for me as I dont think he is Milan class,
I would like us to perhaps try to get these players who I think match the profile and add some vitality where we need it.
Defence - Chivu (Roma)
Midfield - Van Der Vaart (Ajax), Essien (Lyon), Ze Roberto (Bayern Munich)
I also think that if Steven Gerrard decides to leave Liverpool (I'm praying he doesn't) then a team of Milan's stature must be trying to get his signature!!!

Remember Barbosa, that young GK from Banfield, Argentina? Well, it looks like Inter watched him during his team latest games and were, somewhat, impressed. But Barbosa's agent doesnt want him to go there because there are too many argentineans (Dont know why this is a negative aspect, really) and he would rather see Barbosa signing with Juventus or Milan.
i dont think we need any of them... i think we should get jankulovski, gilardino and pizarro
IMO we need theese 3 players +Solari!
First of all: Grant, welcome to the forum! Hope you enjoy it here :) Your first posts have been great, so keep up the good work.
On your post: I agree with you that part of Inter's problem is lack of squad consistancy (and coach consistancy). Squad size is another one. Milan's strength is like Juve, consistancy and team spirit.
Winning teams do not need a revolution in the changing room every year, they need an evolution. I believe Milan will buy one player for each department this summer; a GK (Abbiati replacemtent), a defender (Jankulowski), a midfielder (Pirlo back-up) and a striker (Gilardino?). I am not sure Milan will get both Gilardino and Crespo, but if we do, then I agree that JDT is on his way out.
