He is another striker linked with Milan due to Pippo's injury. Has anybody saw him play? What I know is he's 20 and 188cm tall, and blonde

He is a great prospect and I would like to see him in Milan from january and Gilardino from next season :grinser:
As for his hair, he is more like a blonde-wanna-be for he dyes it :grinser: :grinser: :grinser:

Apparently his hero is none other than Crespo. Not really sure about how good he is or anything, as I've only ever seen him once, but he could be interesting. Personally, I'm more interested in the rumours about Gilardinho.

If you want to see Milan have them both, I think we should either sell one of our strikers(if indeed we'll buy Crespo next season), or one of them is retire( like Pippo bcoz of his injury, I'm affraid he's injury could become like Basten's, ankle injury) or leave.
We'll see who will Milan take coz today I heard from my friends who live in Milan that AC Milan had ask Parma for Gilardino 1st option and will pay further 16 - 17 Millions pounds for his service next season. well, I still don't know if he's worth that much. I want to see more of him this season wether he's worth it or not in Milan. :D :D :D
As for Maxi, I haven't see him playing much, may be 2 or 3 times. At that time, When I saw him playing, I don't see any special things on him. Well, may be he's changing rite now. well, I don't know. but we'll see.

i tried to post something on Lopez and who, if we do sign another striker, would be better out of him or Gilardino. I don't know much about him either but given that we already have a lot of competition upfront and Lopez would not expect as much first team starts as someone who scored 23 goals last season in serie A therefore might be a better choice. BUT there would be no point opting for Lopez if Gilardino was the better player.

I heared today in the Radio and read in the Newspaper, that we bought the first option for the player(Lopez) and we will buy him on January...I cant understand why we dont buy Fabiano who is a player Kaka had good playing together or Gilardino, and we are intrested in Lopez...On the other hand...I dont know him much so please someone from Argentina...Enlight us....

This turns out an option thread, and never forget Torrez.

Fabiano
Gilardino
Lopez
Torrez

you want to pick up one?

I think Torres is a target we cannot take, unless we splash a lot of money...
I only mentioned Gilardino and Luis, as both of them are targets of Roma(and both as i recall said that they want to go there) and hell i believe that we can beat Roma for one of these players...

Anyway...

Fabiano is infamous for his indisciplined behavior and bad character. This and not the money is the main reason why he is not playing with us in place of Crespo. The brazilian has realized that and over the past months has tried to convince Galliani and Co. that he has matured enough to be in a team like Milan but our directors need more than a few words, I guess.
Plus he is known to be a bit lazy and incosistent but he is young and can work on that here in Milan. My guess is that his not-so-peaceful near past is the big hurdle in the transfer - imagine what a player like him would do if he is left on the bench!

Gilardino is linked heavily to Roma. I dont think Milan would buy another new signing anymore.

True but Roma is in dire straits for CASH so Gilla is just a dream for them, right now. I don't see him leave Parma for less than 15-17 mil after some heavy talking cause they want 25mil for him. Even 10mil is something Roma cannot afford at the moment.

I didnt knew all that...I only believed that because he was playing with Kaka, he was the right choise to have them together again...

Anyway, thanks for the info:)

I think fabiano is not going happen now. His name wasn't even mentioned along with Lopez and Gilardino when it's known we are looking for a striker. Gilardino I think will not be a milan player now after he signed that contract extension, his value will be to much for just a replacement striker by next season and it will be a team that dearly needs a new goal scoring first team player that buys him. Lopez of course is a posability, I doubt he would be too expensive and it seems there as been at least some real interest from the milan board to generate the media speculation. Torres though, maybe not this season but sometime, will be a milan player in 1 or 2 seasons time, there as been simply to much said about it, there is no way he will end his playing days at Athletico and Milan seem to be the big club everyone mentions when his transfer is discussed. It's similar to the Kaka situation, it was pretty much definite that he would join us nearly 2 season before it happened.

I've seen Maxi Lopez play many times, and his goal against Boca Juniors earlier this year was superb. I posted that we should buy him somewhere before in this forum but no one seemed interested. He's a superb prospect. PROSPECT. I think Milan have shown that they don't like buying prospects [Kaka was a great exception].

I agree with Samaldinho on the prosects issue, but I wouldn't count Kaka as one. He was a regular in the NT before moving to Milan

Its been reported that an unknown Premiership side made a bid of £3.8m for him and River may sell. It said that it could be Man Utd or Liverpool although im not so sure about that.

I've never actually seen him play so i cant really comment on whether he is worth the money or will succeed in Europe etc......

Man Utd right now in hot trail for Rooney, so I don't think Maxi will go in there. I think Maxi will be stay in River and then we take him in the january, if Pippo still battle for injury.

the slovenian guy is not a striker,he's a attacking midfielder.it was a very bad move by braida because he could have bought Niko Kranjcar who plays in the same position.

yeah, I heard a bit about Kranjcar before.

I think Dhorasoo has impressed when he's played. He'll need time to adapt to Milan and I doubt he'll ever be considered as a "star" at Milan, but I'm sure he'll provide solid and useful backup.

Boban is Boban, Nico is another Boban. Tha's only a comparison. nothing more than that. If Nico become a legend, he'd become Nico, and may be there's other being compare to Nico, and so on. Rite Now, no. 10 in milan hasn't retired yet, so there are alot of players could wear it. Only no. 6 had already retired, that's Baresi. But soon, no. 3 would retired as well, that's belong to Maldini. :D :D

Newly revealed that Maxi Lopez could be in pole position joining Milan in January due to the shift of attitude of River Plate. The 188cm tall guy could be very useful at set pieces denfense :fero:

I don't really a fans of Crespo, but I think Crespo is once a worldclass footballer whom any club desired. I don't know Maxi Lopez as well as you do, but the one for sure, his playing experience ( especially when it comes to Serie A culture ) can't be at the same level as Crespo.
I know the subject here is not Crespo. But I'm sure, you'll see the real Crespo in a few weeks from now on. The more burden he got in his mind, the harder for him to score even a single goal.

Is he any good?
Yes, he is good, Gogeta.
He is not a proven player yet, but you can't find someone with his talent everywhere. A physical specimen of centre-forward with very good skills, speed and a clinical finish in front of the keeper. He doesn't score often, but someday he'll.
It's a personal feeling, but If Milan hire him I think he'll end in another italian team. Probably in June, but I don't rule the January option out.
