My CM team was based around most of these players :rolleyes: it doesnt necesarily mean that they will all turn out good though.

I don't see us being too active on the youth team or youth player front, ofcourse there will the Pozzi's and others but we'll be hearing more about Roberto Carlos, Totti coming than about promising youths.

Not only are you incorrect, there is easy to claim this or that and praise or complain about youth teams without having a clue about who will be great.

Abbiati, Coco, Oddo and so on came from our youth team. But to get players of Paolo class is not something everyone get... well noone ever got that. :D

wanting another paolo is a tad unrealistic since he's probably one of the top 5 defenders of all time, without doubt greatest left back that's ever lived and probably the only player playing today that would get a place in an all time best team ever line-up.

as for future signings, what about Parisi of messina he is quite good and a left back which we certainly need.

u can have a tough CB... but no defender in the history is as cool and classy as paolo... i love the way he cuts the ball... like with a faint leaving the attacker humiliated! e.g the step over then he flicks it with his other foot... and boom.. the attacker is gone!

i think maldini's maybe just behind beckenbaur. i think he's better than baresi though wich is gonna cause a headache when he retires, we can't just retire all our numbers. personally i think we should retire both the 3 and 6 for a season or something like that, as a mark of respect but not a ridiculous over blown gesture.
