There are rumours Dhorasoo is not convincing Ancelotti, so we'll be back for a midfielder in January. The most probable move is calling back Donadel , who's performing well each time i watch him playing, but the big target is Maniche, who would be able to give Pirlo a chance to rest, and he can be defensive mid, director in the building up and trequartista as well, plus scores from long range, a good quality esp against teams such as Messina or Livorno and closed defences

any thoughts?

The fact we'll strenghten the defensive part of the squad with a mid in jan is given as a certainty here

Hmm.. I am only disappointed that he is not given much chances to prove his worth. Probably will soon be mentioned in the Nadir's threat "Milan's no-star".

About getting highly rated players; the main question is always: Will they want to spend most of the time in the bench? as I really doubt that Pirlo will be rotated very often, and when he does, there are several players who is in the line to replace him.

Dhorasoo is much better than Donadel who is incredible average. I was even thinking about putting up a thread where I asked why Dhorasoo gets no chance, seems like that is just the way it is.

There are two possible options:

1) He doesn't get chance to prove his worth so he doesn't play

2) he doesn't convince the trainer so he doesn't get the chance to prove his worth because he has already proved his worth during trainings

he can't be that bad. i think it really would be unfair to load him off in winter (or later) without giving him a chance to show his worth in competitive games. but we will see how low he is in the pecking order as soon as the coppa matches arrive.

that seems to be the news giovanni metioned:

Donadel: "Io al Milan? Magari..."
14 10 2004

here is an older news of the same topic from the same site:

A gennaio torna Donadel
14 10 2004

oh my god i hate donadel so much u just cannot imagine...

he is sooo crappy.... i cant find one good thing about him... if we start a wrestling team then maybe hell be usefull the guy is mercyless... why is he always pissed off??? and its not like the gattuso 'pissed off' attitude, hes not even determined nor passionate... hes just goes for the legs and not the ball... which is also unlike rino...i saw him make career ending injuries a million times... that is not good for football... and i wouldnt want him training near our stars... the guy is worse than materazzi..

other than that, he has no skill at all, nothing, hes a WWE star... he cant tackle, he cant pass, he cant shoot, hes short and therefore cant head.. absolutly nothing!!

maniche, now thats a player i like... determination, excellent long range shooting, and good tackler as well as the fact that he can play in many positions.. but still i would rather see him at barca

dhorasso, he needs to play to prove himself... thats very unfair to him

One point is certain: we cannot rely on 4 midfielders, if we look for the Treble, Pirlo, Gattuso Seedorf and Ambro.

The others simply are not kept in great consideration, so they aren't considered good replacement. We'll sign a great midfielder in summer.

I don't think Donadel's that good and definately not better than Dhorasoo.

I'm quite surprised to hear such a remark about Dhorasoo, who recently in an interview said he is just waiting for his opportunity.

Also I don't think Carlo is that unfair to a player, so I think the rumours are just made up to make news

Maniche...YES! Would be welcome.
Donadel...plz no. No need for average no skill midfielders.
