ok, pretty simple question really?
What are your dreams in life?
I mean proper dreams, not things like "I wish to be in the playboy mansion :sexe: all night".
ah, I have to get up pretty early and its really late here, so I'll put mine up later

Definitely to be a professional soccer player. And I will never give up fighting for it.
I have a lot of dreams....
biggest one is moving to Italy for good
( and that will happen in a few years)

I'm surprised to actually have gotten replies :D
I like Nona have many dreams
My biggest one is to stop being described as someone with potential and instead be described as someone who has fulfilled that potential.
to get excellent grades, to go to a great university in either the UK canada or the US (even barcelona or milan) and to become a coach that is known worldwide.
being a coach!!!!
I used to wish that I one day would come home and trip over toys :). Since my daughter was born, I do it every day and curse it too. Moral of the story: Be aware of what you hope for :r7: ;)

Interesting answer, living your dream means you must be a happy man irrespective of the toys ;)

My dream is to become a lawyer in Italy (which is at half way), then study for a post graduate degree in a great city , maybe London, as my sister did, and maybe, even work there .
Although not perfect my spoken English had the potential to become very good (if studying) and when i stayed in London i was almost fluent , so it would not be impossible to live abroad, maybe for few years.
Then find a girl i do like and get married building up a beautiful family.
My secret dream is to find, sooner or later , the time to really start playing as a dj with consistency, and becoming professionist
At the moment i can't, because i have to study during the day, and have no time to practice, and to work you have to stay out even the whole night...when do i sleep?
to sum up: getting a post graduate degree ina foreign country and find a job
and find a lovely girl

I knew that becoming a priest was a joke !!!
haha, of course, thats about as likely to happen as Inter winning Lo Scudetto ;)
imagine the pope playing techno music in a club :haha:
that would be hillarious! ... with nuns gettng down right next to him
guess what!!!!!!... this is the best thing ever.... on one of the loacal newspapers it said that in february milan are coming to jordan to play a friendly here vs the national team....
this is one of the happiest days of my life.... i was thinking of the situation while i was coming back from a private lesson... offcourse i buy the first ticket and i pay whatever is required so i can see the players and hopefully carlo, then i can have a small chat with him (i hope he understands english) and i prve to him that im the biggest and most loyal milan fan ever, and i wqould do anything to work with milan be it a janitor or a water boy or whatever... then i give him my email adress and mobile number, and a few weeks later milan ring me a phone call telling me that i can work with them, but i tell them ill have to call them back because im going to university next summer inshallah, so i discuss the whole situation and then we come to the conclusion that i should go to bocconni university in milan to study business management so i can do both!
yes ... then my mom interuppted my day dream...
Well,i`m a 3rd year student of English language and literature and i have one more year to go before i graduate.Besides i learnt and i still do learn(some ) other foreign languages. So i guess that the thing i`m mostly interested in is linguistics but also translating and interpreting.Being an interpretor is something i`d really enjoy doing. That is why i`m probably going to go to post graduate studies,in italy or uk.After i finish it,i hope to find a good job, travel,go to Milan matches regularly...etc etc.The other thing i like is journalism(sports journalism to be more exact) and since i have some experience on that matter i wouldn`t mind if i find myself in that role once again in the future.
That`s basically it. :)

I wish both Dragana and mk the best of luck on their wishes.
mk it must be amazing to have Milan coming to your country, good luck in meeting Carlo ;)
Dragana, I don't really think I need to wish you luck, I've gotten to see that you more than capable of fulfilling the desires you have spoken of. Do your best in achieving your aim and don't ever look back in regret :)

haha, very modest ;)
actually, the two I've quoted seem like a couple of dreams I'd like realise, shame the first is almost impossible and the second, I'll wait and see ;)
im currently studying business studies in university in my final year. my dreams are to have a successful career, to make a lot of money ( to buy convertible BMW, nice house etc) and to be able to afford to go to milan regularly not just once a season as i do now. I got a job yesterday for after college with my local citie's office of the fifth largest business and financial advisors firm in the world(they have offices in 99 countries) . training contract 3.5 years where I will be expected to complete Chartered Accountancy Exams. The pay is not great for the training contract but its a great opportunity for me to establish myself and when i finish training contract I hope to get a management role within the company or maybe a job as a financial controller in a large company. So yesterday was a big day for me and hopefully a significant starting point for me. I had to go to a presentation and go through three interviews to get the job.
Career wise I have made a great start, now I have to work hard and make the best of my opportunity as I was lucky to get job around 100 applicants and only 4 jobs.
apart from my career I have to meet the girl of my dreams still who has to be gorgeous, intelligent, funny and outgoing
Nice topic :D
My dream: I've just ended high school, so I'm just waiting for some results to see if I passed it, and then I'll register in college, hopefully getting a spot in the place I want(politic science...well that's the translation). 2005 will be getting college experience, and learning new languages(italian), plus learning how to drive well(I really suck at it). 2006 I want to go to Italy, to practice my italian, to learn more about other cultures, and to WATCH MILAN PLAY + it's supposed to be Maldini's last year, so it's my last oportunity to watch my favorite player live.
After that I want to continue my studies and specialize in International Relationships, so one day maybe I'll be an embassador, or at UN....I also want to get married and all that(but right now, that's the last thing I'm thinking I'm just a 17 year old girl).
My almost impossible dream(everything is possible so...): Since I was 5 all I wanted was to become a singer, to win many grammys, to have lots of money, and that way I could help poor families firstly in my country. I would have loved to make concerts for charity to help kids in Africa or with any nobel cause.
Last dream: To win any Nobel Peace Prize(that's the greatest of all the awards).
huh?
how can you teach someone to dream?
...
:D you tell me...
I've forgotten my dreams because the reality is getting tougher nowadays.. :depress:

thats silly, dreams cannot be forgotten, as if you forget them, you forget a major part of yourself. We all have problems and for a lot of people, dreams/desires are what help them get through their problems.

I'm going to get a degree in Law, but after i will specialise and get a post graduate Status of Lawyer which in Italy ia reached by a tough public test after the University, my dream is, one day, to start Uni again, when i'll be set and established, and study Phylosophy, which is the best IMO to form culture because it touches every field of the human knowledge, even mathematics and physics.
So basically my dream, which is unlikely but still doable, is to take another degree in phylosophy after my Law studies are finished (all around they will finish when i'll be 30, because i have 3 years till get the Graduation and 3/4 to practice at a lawyer office, plus the public test which includes something like 2000/3000 pages !!!! Tough!)

not joking
in italy if you wanna bcome a lawyer you have to
1)get a graduation in law (5 years)
2)practice in a lawyer's office for 2 years
3) prepare this public test which includes all the top subjects already studied at uni (2000 pages roughly)
then you are a LAWYER
afterwards, i'd like to make a post graduation master in England or abroad anyway(don't know when and how) and one day maybe study phylosophy which is an amazing subject (we study it at high school for 3 years..and it's the most lovely subject there can be)
It's a dream because a second degree is tough, involved with work all the day, it's hard to find the time, but the pro's are many: in Italy we don't pay high university fees as in England for ex. and it's a dream because it's just for culture, due to the fact phylosophy doesn't offer good work opportunities
basically i'd love to work as a lawyer and use the brain as a phylosopher :1d31:
