Millan may use this type of grass in San Siro.

i never interest in Artificial Grass.but the the frass in San Siro is not well.change to Artificial Grass can help Milan to save the cost of unkeep.and make the grass be more quality.but it will change the tradition of football field and be less nature

how do you guys think about it?

If artificial grass does not harm players ok. It would be a great solution to this huge problem. Its a pity that a stadium like San Siro has this grass problem since 1990!!

Yes there are certain problem when u have artificial grass. But not always.you can get injured even in normal grass. The most wonderful thing about having artificial grass is maintenance free.Less water consumption. And to maintain such big ground you are requires large Gallant of water. So it's always better to have artificial grass.there are some good sites regarding artificial grass u can really know what is artificial grass and how it ge installed.Ex:http://www.ecowaterlessgrass.com/artificial-grass-installation-process-video.asp

It is good for technical football, but it ain't as pleasant to make sliding tackles. Yes, I talk from experience, we have a lot of those fields up here.

Artificial grass would boost a lot of injuries. I'm against it. Artificial grass is not good for Milan.

This is my humble opinion. :)

I have lots of experience with artificial grass, I like it very much but the problem is tackles because the black rubber pallets in the artificial grass could make very nasty scarches and scuff marks on your bare leg.

I don't think it is restricted to legs, I think it's dangerous for the arms as well. It's like indoor football.

As i mentioned in my previous quote, Injuries can happen even in natural grass. That too when you are playing heartbreaking game like football the injuries is default. So u can’t blame on artificial grass! Might be the percentage of injuries might be slightly higher. But the artificial grass has its great advantage of saving water. Maintenance free! Every time we need not to cut the grown grass. Time saving!

WHY???
In America, tons more injuries occur
due to artificial turf...many from players
just running and moving around, not
even being touched by another player!!!

For the sake of football and the Rossoneri
players, DO NOT DO THIS!!!

You talking about only injuries.yes i agree there is definitely some disadvantages in artificial turf. But if u take anything there will be a pros and corns. But we have to see % of these.if u see u have more advantages by using artificial grass.

Advantages

* Artificial turf can be a better solution when the environment is particularly hostile to natural grass. An arid environment or one where there is little natural light are examples.
* Ideal for holiday homes when maintenance of lawns is not practical. It is also a solution for elderly homeowners who find the upkeep of lawns too much hard work.
* Suitable for roof gardens and swimming pool surrounds.
* Artificial turf pitches can last up to ten years.
* Some artificial turf systems allow for the integration of fiber-optic fibers into the turf. This would allow for lighting or advertisements to be directly embedded in a playing surface, or runway lighting to be embedded in artificial landing surfaces for aircraft

I will not even comment on this, its not american football, normal football needs to be played on normal grass.

As a referee I have officiated on the old astro turf surfaces which were horrendous if you slid on it you would get a raspberry scrape that could become infected. It was approximately on inch of pad on top of concrete...

Nowadays they use rubber tire pellets which is a little better on the knees and ankles, the field drains better looks decent and has very little maintenance other than running a roller over the surface.

The downside in Miami is it generates so much heat in the deadof summer that you get all of your energy sapped out of you by running a full contest.

However, from what I see on the TV the pitch at San Siro has looked horrible at times from multiple games and lousy weather...
