id say it has to be sheva. he was taken from dynamo kiev and ever since then he has been a crucial part of milan. he was a really star sigining. :p283:

it depends, no doubt sheva is great but we did pay a good price (although in retrospeciteve it wasn't that high € 24mil :smileani: ) but still back then it was quite an amount for such a young player and a bit of a gamble
for instance arsenal wanted him badly but they didn't want to splash that much...
I bet now they wish they had...

so you have to calculate the amount of cash you had to pay for him aswell and than I would nominate pirlo and/or seedorf they are stars belong to the best of the world and we got them for umit davala and coco players that either barely played for us (I wonder wether davala ever wore a milan jersey or even an inter jersey for that mather coz he imediate left again :smileani: ) and coco once called heir of san paolo but who badly wanted to move away from milan and had a bad spell with inter ever since.
seedorf and pirlo on the other hand are vital members of our squad for years to come

ps;-: it's possible that we also had to give them guly or drazen brincic extra for one of these players but even so it were great transfers coz to be honest have any of you missed one of these players?????

but anyway they also failed miserably

another possible nominee is cesare maldini he played great for us and while doing he let his young boy to train with us so we got paolo 'for free'!!!!

Sheva is up there. Nesta is very high on the list for me too. Before him our defense had been weak since Baresi retired.

Kaka may very well win in a similar poll in 5-10 years :)

I'd personally put weah above Kaka (for the time being) and Leonardo (maybe, although his overall contribution to the club has been amazing, but as a player, I think Weah gave more).

Shevchenko is the best signing we have had. For defence, Nesta is the best. Gattuso is also a good signing as he shows good leadership.

Kaka is going to be the star of the future. I can see Brazil winning the next three World Cups unfortunatly with Kaka, Adriano and more stars to come. Why can't Italy produce good stars

Pirlo was not part of an exchange, he was bought for 10M€. Umit was swapped with Simic and Coco with Seedorf (as you said). Helveg with Domoraud, but we loaned out Domo and loaned Helveg from Inter two years. Guly was swapped with Brocchi.
