That would great news.. i hope your information is very reliable... :v408:

it's not very reliable, that's why i have many doubts, esp cause juve was really interested in him
but we all know how the market is, maybe they found a better solution with a cheaper price so they dropped bonera's option..
Bonera is a Milan fan which is a positive, but we are quite loaded with players even if Simic leaves as expected.

Quality defenders are never enough ;)
I mean, Bonera is one of the few certainties around, i don't know if letting him go elsewhere would be a smart move
i like him quite a lot even though i don't know much about him. :)

YEA!~..Bonera is good and can prove to be a useful addition or even the best solution to cafu. Can't wait to see him partnering Nesta in defence.
Maldini - Nesta - - Bonera
The cream of the Italian defence is right here in Milan!~ :D
There are much better ones:
Barzagli of Palermo
Felipe of Udinese
Pablo Ibanez of Atletico Madrid (Juve is interested in him)
Andrade of Coruna
Would be really disappointed if we get Bonera and Juve one the 4 above.

I don't know the others but Barzagli s not that better than Bonera, let's say they are pretty much on the same level. Bonera is a very good player IMO.
Isn't Felipe a mid?

-20yo
-left defender (as we need it, because Nesta will be around much longer)
-He's showing maturity beyond his age
Bonera is 23/24(?). Just look at what Nesta (best defender Euro2000) and players like Terry have achieved at this age. Guys like these are what we should be looking for, imo.
And that way Felipe looks like a better bet (in a year or 2 of course, but we don't need anyone right now).
Andrade is a proven player, still quite young. Ibanez is one of the very best defenders in Primera Division...age 22/23 (not exactly sure).
Bonera somehow always looked a bit shaky (Olympics, Parma isn't exactly Italy'S best defense right now). As a sub he is ok, but then plz pay a sub-prize and not 10m € or something.

If Milan Old Guard will say he's the best option i don't have a single reason to doubt the technical opinion of Maldini or Costacurta( because we all know their opinion is highly regarded when a def is signed)..i mean, it'd be like going to Ferrari and telling that they don't understand a **** of cars
Plus remember that players who catch the interest of both Milan and Juve are usually really quality ones
I've watched enough games of Bonera to say he's quality. The fact he hasn't achieved anything at his age doesn't prove a point: we all agree jankulovski is quality and he's 27/28..so what?

I can see there is some mixed views about Bonera in this forum. Bonera is 22 years old soon to turn 23. I dont like what was said about Nesta and Terry being better or having played more national games at his age. Please remember Bonera is Italian and that Trap had been in charge for last 3 years. Trap did not give youngsters a chance no matter how well they played in Serie A. Bonera is a great defender. He would fit into Milan perfect. He can play RB and CB which is always beneficial to any team. I like Bonera and have watched him a lot.
Now moving on to the deal. When I read about Gilardino in Gazzetta.it they said that Bonera was part of the deal too. I know we have paid Parma 5 million euros already as part of the deal, then we pay 8 million in the summer abd then future installments over 2 seasons. I think Bonera is part of the deal as no one is talking about his transfer activity anymore and even though Milan have said they need to rejuvenate the defence there has been no talk of who.

Mind: It's just a rumour and Juve's interest on him is very strong.

If your information comes from "Il Processo di Biscardi" just forget it. During the show they also said there was some kind of agreement between Totti and Milan: if Totti leaves Roma he will come to Milan.
It seems like big bull s#@t to me. :3band:

It's not the first time we're linked with Bonera.
I would like a more offensive minded right back similar to Cafu like Oddo. Bonera would not be the worst signing but I think he is over rated. Those words just might come back to haunt me though!

It's not the first time we're linked with Bonera.
We have also been linked to Mesto, Cassetti, and Oddo.
I would sign Mesto, because beside being the youngest among these players he is also the most talented

Bonera has potential, but I do think people overrate his abilities at times. He still makes too many mistakes when playing to be in the Milan side and at this point being at Milan won't help too much, as he won't get regular play for a while.

Bonera is basically a CB, that can even play on the right, but he's a completely different player compared to Mesto or Cassetti..these guys plays like wingers or even wide strikers like Cassetti, even if they cover all the flank , Bonera is a defender.

Word! At Parma (at least last season) he started as a CB but was moved out to the right because he sucked in the middle (ok, that was a bit harsh).
I may have to eat my words later so I will conveniently quote Robin Williams in "Good Morning Vietnam": Bonera..."sucks the sweat off a dead mans balls"
:eekani: :p146: ;)

He's the best defender at Parma this season..i believe in his skills, IMO he 's not Baresi but still a very good defender though
Once i though he was overrated, but with the time he proved to be reliable and solid, while Ferrari has turned into a joke

It's sad about Ferrari, I thought he was really promising, but now it looks like he may be the Legrottaglie of 2005.
It should serve as a warning though against suggesting that Milan buys all these one-season wonders.
PS. Is Roma the new Inter (when it comes to ruining talant)? Ferarri, Perotta, Mido etc etc.

Its time for renewal of Milan's aging backline ! Costacurta inspite of his long years of service should bow out this season and make room for a your central defender, preferably Bonera of Parma !
There are various threads already discussing this issues feel free to read them.

I think Bonera is overrated.
i admit i havent seen many of his games but every time i watch one he screws sumthing up. i think we will get either oddo, cicinho, or mesto.

I have liked Bonera for a while now, but in truth, I am yet to see much of him...
What I have heard is that he is a good defender...but then, thats not good enough.
After I have the reports from the Milan scouts, I will decide if I will recommend Bonera to Galliani as:
a) A must have this season
b) A player we should sign a pre-transfer agreement with
c) A player we should never sign..
But until Maldini (the elder) gives me his (now overdue) report, I wont be able to make a decision on the matter.

Bonero is better at CB then at RB he can have more control but not as good as his RB he can do well but he would be somethin like kala and not that affetive as CAFU or Oddo comin up and providin more crosses or more depth.
as u all have seen b4 cafu came we were attackin just from the middle when cafu came along we had more ways to attack and that made our oppenats lost at times

from www.tgcom.it/sport, www.calciomercato.com, www.gazzetta.it/calcio - it was all over the place that we were/are seriously interested in him. As for Cicinho, only tribalfootball and goal.com - two, not exactly reliable sources - reported that we would be getting him in January.
