View Full Version : If Fiorentina go down....
...should we try to sign any of their players? I know they haven't done well this season, but I think Miccoli could do a good job as a back-up for Kaka and he's only about 26 I think. Also it must be worth looking at Bojinov, because he's young and had a great record at Lecce. Chelsea were willing to spend big money on him, so he might be a good signing if we could tempt him with the chance to play Serie A and CL.
What do people think?

A few from Fio are tempting, but depends if we kind better solutions ahead of them.

Miccoli is a very good player but I am just not sure he is made to play for teams of Milan's calibre. Plus he seemed to be unwilling to play as a fourth striker for Juve and I am not so certain he would like to do it for us either.
As for Bojinov, he does have abundant potential but probably won't come cheap, but who really does these days. This would be an interesting move, better than Miccoli's I think for Bojinov is very young and still doesn't have the ego of an established like Miccoli, for example, so he might be willing to play a second-string role in Milan, at least in the beginning.
Maybe though if we played the christmas tree formation (4-3-2-1) that Carlo has employed quite a lot this year, we could have Kaka and Miccoli playing behind Sheva? I think Rui has looked past it this season, and Miccoli's inventiveness and eye for goal (about 1 goal in 3 games this season) may be what we're looking for.
if we they do i would like to see maresca here... that guy the most suitable sub for pirlo... but we got vogel
I agree - we really don't need any more defensive midfielders if Ambrosini is staying.
bojinov miccoli jorgenson maserca in that order would be good addtions

Ujfalusi would be a good buy i think
yeah ujfalusi would be a good buy and Bojinov
Jorgenson and Maresca could really fit into this Milan side and maybe even provide competition to some other players.

agree on Jorgensen and Maresca - I am still not sure how Jorgensen never really made it to a really big team given the huge talent he has. As for Maresca the future is still infront of him.

I like Jorgensen. Maresca is always welcome to me after he scored (AND MOCKED) against Torino :D Miccoli's a big mouth and an arse, hes gonna spend his life watching WWE in his small apartment. Bojinov's talented but is not fully proven. Can be a one hit wonder for all we know. Going to Milan wont be a wise career move for him I believe, it will only hold him back.
