MILAN - A.C. Milan have announced that Jon Dahl Tomasson has been sold to Stuttgart, coached by Giovanni Trapattoni. Milan would like to take the opportunity to thank Tomasson for the important contribution he has made during his stay at the club.

Please hope to god common sense prevails and gila comes to us.
Always liked the guy even though toward the end of last season he wasnt up to scratch apart from his goal against PSV :sagrin: Good luck to him

That's a shocker. Some work Stuggart did there to get JDT.
Anyway, good luck to JDT. He certainly has been a sharp weapon, if not the sharpest, and what's more important, a loyal servant to Milan. :5ok: I know I will miss him. :proud:

I have always equally liked JDT and Pippo.I was thinking about one of them leaving this summer and couldn`t figure out who would our team miss more.I hate to say it,given Pippo`s history and contribution to Milan and Italian football in general,but i think this time we sold the wrong one.Furthermore,another striker is a must do now and it better be Gila,concerning that several worth mentioning have already been sold(i.e.Toni)...Just my opinion anyway....
As for this `JDT is crap` stories i think some people around here deserve to be put on ignore...as i`m about to do.

So it was true what the people said about AC Milanīs disrespect to the player. I have read that Galliani has stated that JDT has reached an agreement with Benfica and so did we and he is already sold! And now heīs sold to Stuttgart. I find that ridiculously disresprectful. Im ashamed! Milan are always known to want their satisfaction for their players..

Well it's possible that Milan actually had an agreement with Benfica, but that Tomasson rather wanted to play for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, and Milan complied with the player's wishes.
I wish all the best to JDT!! I really liked him, he was really loyal to Milan, he loves the team and he never complained. He even wouldn't mind to be a 5th striker & would still fight for his playing time. And those crap sh*t .. :rollani: I say you are a crap of fan if you say something like that for JDT!! But like Dragana said, I should better ignore it. FORZA MILAN & EVERY PLAYER WHO HAS MILAN IN THEIR HEART !! :5ok:

Of course he choosed a other club than Benfica, and as he has said in the danish press he have never said that he had an agreement with Benfica - only the press did.
Trapattoni hijacked the deal, obviously he has better connections in Italy, I'm glad for tommasson, atleast he will get a good warmup before the world cup. :w262:

The latest reports on gazzetta were that Milan and Benfica had reached an agreement but JDT had NOT for there were certain differences between the two sides regarding his salary. There were never any reports that he had agreed to sign for them or anything of this sort. Anyway, I believe that the Bundesliga is a better place for him and Stuttgart is a team with goals.

JDT has always been a loyal servant to the club. A really true professional. I thank him for his time and contribution to our success and wish him all the best.
Why couldn't Milan loan Tomasson out for this season? I think he should have stayed in Milan. An danish internation doesn;t mind to seat on bench - it shows that he likes the team, devotes to the team. It's really hard to find a player like that nowadays. Even though he is not a superstar, he always did something to contribute. Now since he left milan, I hope he could do his best in Germany and I hope that Stuttgart can beat Bayern in their domestic league. Sorry for JDT, but it's better for him in the long run. Good luck

Benifica offerred less than 4 Million. However we have trouble upfron now.... IMO the only 100% fit strikers are Sheva and hopefully Gilardino, Inzaghi is still in the box while Vieri has still some question marks
Tomasson today said to the Danish press that he wanted to leave Milan for a while now... - so it seems he was not only shown the door.
However, still he has been loyal to us - thanks for that JDT..!!

Tomma was great, he was royal to us and I'll miss him...
Thanx for everything, I wish you all the best in your new club...
I wish him the best of luck and he has done so well with us and deserves our full praise . He was instrumental in our title winning 2003-2004 season and earned himself a starting place in most of the second half of that season scoring a number of important goals . Last season wasn't his best and he was way off his form but still he was an important player and he scored a goal in the semi-final against PSV that proved to be decisive . It is a good move for him as he is a guaranteed a starting place in a respected German side as he would have enjoyed very little playing time if he has opted to stay with the arrival of Vieri and Gila .
btw, 8 Million euro, not 7,5...
