Rough translation: Cicinho most possibly has been granted an Italian passport, he should then travel to Milano, where he will be greeted by Ariedo Braida and possibly will join Milan as soon as January. His release clause is 15 MLN Euros, according to the above listed rumour, Sao Paolo could accept 7.5 MLN.

This is disappointing.. I mean, ofcourse Cicinho is an excellent backup for Cafu, but this prick first came to Milan and said he wants to join milan and his idol is Cafu and all of that.. then 2 days later, HE TAKES A PRIVATE JET to Manchester and discusses terms with them, and said how it is his dream to play in manchester!!! THENNN A week later, REAL HAVE BOUGHT FIRST OPTION ON HIM and he says its a dream for any player to play in Real and I want to join real in january! he does not deserve to join us, but it will be the best buy we have made since Kaka (yes far better than Gilardino, our tactics rely so much on our attacking wing-backs)

Agree ... also Willy Sagnol is out of contract with Bayern from next year and he has been linked with us - and Juve too - in the recent pass. I would love to see both Oddo and Sagnol join us if Cafu decides to retire. Cicinho first needs to learn how to defend and then dream of coming to Milan - right now he would be perfect for a team like Real or Barca.

Real Madrid has the first option on him already. Cicinho has already mentioned the pre-contract with Real Madrid and how he is looking forward to playing with them after January on his current club's official website so I don't know how this rumour can even be given any credence.
And isnt this rumour like 3 months old?

what makes say this? He is one of the most consistent players at Bayern and they are a team I watch on a regular basis. And just because he isn't renewing his contract does that mean he's illdisciplined or a traitor or what? There may be lots of reasons, many of them personal, why he is doing it, reasons we know nothing about. :p231:
The fact that he would be available for free, apart from the good player he is, makes him such a VERY attractive target not just for us but for Juve too.
I agree that Oddo and Bonera would be good additions to Milan but the latter is a totally different type of player than Sagnol - Bonera is more of a CD for he just sucks going forward. I wouldn't mind - although I seriously doubt it - seeing both Oddo and Sagnol come to Milan for Cafu could decide to retire any time soon and these two are two excellent choices for RB. Who knows, maybe this is gonna be Cafu's last season with us or at least his last as a 1st choice RB at Milan - next season he would be 36 yo :sob:
First of all, if Bayern do not want to renew his contract something is not right. Because I treat them as a big team with good management, so they usually do not sack good players, do they? :rollani:
Secondly, we do not need only a substitution for cafu. We need also a sub for Stam. Bonera would be perfect investment. ;)

It is him who doesn't want to extend, not Bayern. He said it last year that he would be looking for a new challange and also he was a bit disappointed by the environment at Bayern where fist fights among players during training sessions aren't exactly a rare thing. Not to mention the constant arguments, usually through the newspapers, between players, coaching staff and management.

U should never trust what a brazilian player says. They are not loyal.
I don't know if that's the case with all Brazilian players for I very much dislike such generalizations, but IMO it is true for Cicinho - too many insinuations, too many flights around Europe to "pay a visit" to certain clubs, etc, etc. This for me is just one more reason why I don't want to see him come to Milan - the first. and major one, is that he just can't defend and has the tactical awareness of an 18 yo player. With this he may get away in Spain but in Italy he would be ripped to shreds, at least that's what my expectations are.

id shoot myself if we had the same management as bayerns! ... would u like it if galliani and berlusconi are always bashing shevchenko and maldini for not wanting to sign for theyre somewhat poor contracts??
we have the perfect management and it would be idiotic to compare it with bayerns!
as for point 2, id get both oddo and sagnol as well as a CB like alex or chivu
Sagnol? Yes that's a good idea, a defender who manages to make even less appearances than Chivu every season. To be fair he did once play 36 games, in the French 2nd division, NINE YEARS AGO.

True, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but there are certain ways of giving it without sounding like you have seen it all, you've done it all, and you know it all. And you were right - he never agrees with anyone for anything. But how could he - he knows everything better than anyone.

Let's see. Ballack and Makaay are fantastic, Schweinsteiger is a great prospect and then it goes downhill. Santa Cruz, Sagnol and Lizarazu would get injured putting on their socks. Kahn and Scholl are so old they used to go to school in the Flintstones mobile and wrote on tablets with a hammer and chisel.

you could never see Bayern play and still know all that from mainstream website reviews. This is pretty lame way to TRY to show how well you know Bayern but if you really did, you would also know that Sagnol is one of their most consistent and regular players and this is something you obviously don't know and no BS stats from 9-10 years ago can undermine his role in the current Bayern team, not to mention that, at the end of this season, he would be available for free.
And please cut down on the sarcastic touch when you come with thunder and lightning to show how your opinion is the one and only spring of truth ... this suits people, who have much more knowledge and intelligence than you do. In your case it just looks lame and ridiculous, at best that is.

Actually I have seen Bayern play, they bore me to tears. They are big fish in a small pond. In Europe they don't look so clever. I never said or implied Sagnol was a crap player, I said he was injury prone so the fact that he is available on a free transfer is irrelevant. I'd rather have Oddo, who has Milan in his blood, wants desperately to play for the team and can stay fit for most of the season.

Why not have them both at Milan - Cafu could very well be having his last season at top level with Milan, while a player like Sagnol doesn't come for free every day. Most people here agree that Oddo is someone we should get and do so in the winter period.

He's still sore after embarrassing himself during the Zola episode. Most people would have the decency to admit they were wrong instead of lying to cover their tracks.
True you are in a class of your own because you are the only one here who never agrees with anyone on anything and always come out as if your opinion is the only existing source of truth and there isn't even a chance for you to be wrong.
As for that Zola episode, go back and reed my posts and then your own and see who was the one trying to cover up his tracks. Your whole point was that a FINISHED player like a 38-39 yo Zola had scored 10 goals in Serie A and used that to PROVE that Serie A was a ****ty league. Truth was that more than half of his goals were from PK or free kicks - which I pointed out - and you to counter me started quoting statistics that had absolutely no relevence to that argument for they were from times when Zola was 28-30 years old i.e. far from a finished player. And you have the face to come out here and behave as if I was the one who "covered up his tracks" - calling you a hypocrate is the very best word that comes to my mind right now.
You to be jerking my chain? Ha-ha, look my chain could be jerked by someone like Hasan Rossonero, MK18, Warro Bantan i.e. people, who back up their words with intelligent and logical thought; people, who may have an opinion different than mine but are open to changing in the process of an argument; people, who despite very well being exactly that, don't assume to be the smartest around, which you obviously do since you are in a "class of your own" - this, btw, is the most obvious sign of ignorence. So, tell me how a sleazy hypocrate like you could jerk my chain is a mystery.
The only chains you can jerk are those of smart guy wanna be like hitmannq and mentally challenged children like Dr. Milano, who, by the way, has never ever expressed an opinion of his own on any MATTER and 99% of his posts are some stupid, senseless follow ups to other people's words ... I guess it is no surprise that he is a 13 yo child and the most special thing about him is that he is ... taller than the average for his age group
So, while jerking some other things, don't waste your time to try jerking my chain for you not even close to being someone in whose opinion I would be even slightly interested. As for those two geniuses above ... you were wrong about being in a class of your own, because they are right there with you.

if you can't come up with arguments that support your point then don't be surprised when someone shallenges its validity. Learn how to lead an argument with reason and facts and not just come up with bare statements, which you later struggle with supporting. An opinion is not soemthing that's given to you from god or something that hit you on the head, it is something you form based on thought and experience, something that can also evolve with time or when questioned by others. If you see that you are running out of arguments in support of your opinion then the best thing to do is change it rather than sneak out of a discussion with something like - I have the right of an opinion too ...
I guess, the above should give you an idea why my posts are often long - unlike you, whenever I have some point to make, I try to explain my reasons for and against that and not just throw in there some short statement with nothing to support it. If, however, this is the way you like it, then don't get misty whenever someone challenges your opinion but better get ready for some writing.
Believe me, once you get out of high school and enter the world out there, it won't be your parents or teachers, who will be held responsible for your opinion but you and you alone. Should something go wright or wrong, it would be you out there who will be responsible for it and when the knife reaches the bone - and trust me, there will be many of these moments - you'd better know how to support and defend you opinion and not just blantly state that you have the right to have it for that's just plain not enough.

In fact, you might wanna read the last couple of lines for they might be of good use to you when your daddy won't be driving you in the back seat anymore and it would be you, who would have to do it by yourself ... anyway, it's probably years away before words like "responsibility" and "accountability" start meaning something to you.

Actually no, I am not checking people's birthdays. But now that you mentioned it, I checked yours and guess what, genius - you don't have it posted. I was just being sarcastic - and you should have caught that since you are so sharp - and used the logic of your posts, and not your UNPOSTED birth date, as a pretty good estimate of your "brain" luggage. Interesting that your hope this could be the case ... maybe you have something to hide? This to come from someone else, I could understand, but coming from you ... I guess they call this "having lost touch with reality" and maybe "hypocrisy" too. If I am to insult anyone - like you - it is because they have done it to me already and have been asking for it.
This is nothing, however, compared to your style of coming down to earth like a Greek god only to arrogantly announce that what you say is the one and only truth and no one else's opinion has a single chance of being even partially correct - rest assured, people really love you for that. You for sure are their role model when it comes to respecting other people's opinion.

I would like to have a few words before this thread goes down soon. I am afraid it is going to happen if it keeps like this. One doesn't have to be old to be mature, so personal attacks based on this is really uncalled for. This is a public place, so I guess everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, so long as he/she behaves in a courteous way. :1five:
Try to respect other people's opinions the way you want others to treat yours. If you happen to disagree and decide not to ignore, try to act in a polite way. Insulting people only degrades yourself. No matter how you do it, you are becoming a laughingstock for others. :devf:
To be honest, I have an ignore list with two people only. (I had to tentatively take them off to see what is going on in this thread). I happened to disagree on almost every word he/she said, and I didn't like the arrogance. I was never good at fighting, so I chose to ignore. Try this, seeing his/her name alone there with no words to bother me, made me feel much better, more like this guy/gal was expatriated from my imaginary world, giving me great euphoria. That's why, again, one doesn't have to be old to be mature. I must admit that I am not young anymore, but I am not very mature I must say. :grinser:
If I say a player is injury prone or has scored xxx number of goals and post data proving that then I am indeed correct. Facts are facts and bull**** is bull****. Your problem is you can't differentiate between facts and opinions. When you're confronted with facts you resort to lying, backtracking and name calling.
With the odd exception e.g. you because you're a bully and a coward, I don't insult anyone directly, I may question the validity of their opinions. I know the difference. You don't which is why on this forum, i.e. a forum where we all united by our love for Milan you resort to insulting other supporters, question their education, their dependence on their parents or whatever other crap, childish insults you can come up with. Respect? You don't know the meaning of the word and you have the nerve to call me arrogant. You're nothing but a bully with a big mouth, I've dealt with your kind before.

Why so much hate-filled people lately? Smooth things out a little fellows, sometimes football is also subjective too, not everything about it is etched in stone, things are always changing and evolving, so we could feel free to believe in our own formed opinions and to freely express 'em, as a God-given right, without having to feel harrased by idiots wanna-be geniuses. I pray God to supply us with a better empathic tolerance and understanding, if not we are gonna continue with a thousand years of more warring and spilling of each other's blood, solely because of intolerance on each other's views and ideas, such a waste of life!!!. :5milan:

everybody who has spent at least a couple of months in this forum, knows very well what I meant by saying waht I said in previous post about you i.e. the one you quoted above.
In the way yuo are portraying yourself, all you need is a cross, and people might mistake you for a saint. Now you are trying to make yourself look like the most respectable person around but you the last one here who has even a minimal ability to accept other people's opinion. I may often disagree and argue with people but the cases when I agree with them are far from rare and this is something you CANNOT say for yourself for there is hardly a person here who remembers the last time you agreed with someone, whoever he/she was, over anything. You not only completely cross out their view on things but make yourself sound as if there isn't even the slightest possibility that your opinion isn't 100% correct. And not only that but you do so in a pretty arrogant way from the very beginning before an argument has even developed. You are the last one here who should even think of the word "respect" let alone mention it. Same goes for calling me a coward - I am the last one here who has ever changed his initial opinion without acknowledging being wrong before that, and I am the last one here who has ever backed away from an argument just because he doesn't know what to say anymore.
And you come here and dare say that you have respect for other members? I really wonder how blind people must be not to see the sleezy, double-faced hypocrate you are for all it takes to see it is not more than a couple of visits to this forum.

:grinser:
I have never said that people, just because they are young or whatever, cannot come here and let their opinions be heard. I, however, also have the right to question someone's logic if that someone is still a child for not all 13 year olds are mature enough. I am sure that if you are honest with yourself for a moment, you would also wanna agree with that, at least when it comes to CERTAIN and not ALL people here. Well, maybe you don't know hoe this whole underage-thing started so here are some helpful links:
http://www.milanmania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12743&page=49&pp=15 (towards the bottom) and
http://www.milanmania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12743&page=50&pp=15 (top half of the page)
Maybe the above will unswer your question why Dr. Milano is the only one whose actual age I know and have looked up in his profile. And he is the only "kid", whose logic I have questioned based on his age ... and, to be honest, on his incomprehensible posts too. THERE IS NO ONE ELSE I HAVE ATTACKED IN EVEN A SIMILAR WAY FOR BEING TOO YOUNG OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. Maybe hitmannq8 would disagree, but he probably has realised by now, at least I hope so, that I was just being sarcastic when I said that and hopefully, he has figured that, in fact, he has never even posted his birthday in his profile for me to even look it up, as he tried to accuse me ... that was quite a mess up, I must say :)
One other thing to you - please next time you have a problem with someone at least have the gutts to be opened about it instead of coming here in the disguise of a nice guy with a hidden agenda. Usually in arguments no one side is truely "beauiful" so if you are the nice guy you tried to portray yourself to be, try to be either impartial and don't let your prejudice towards that "he/she" you mentioned, take the better of your judgement on an argument you don't know everything about - Justice is blind, you know. If, however, you can't do that, maybe the best thing to do would just not to come into the argument at all, for you would only add to its complexity or rather its simplicity, I should say.

I question peoples opinions but I haven't insulted anyone, apart from you and for good reason. I've already taken the liberty of checking and there are only two instances in which anything I have said could be construed as an insult :
Anyone who wants to see Chivu join Milan must be a Juve or Inter supporter because no one in their right mind would want their club to spend so much money on a player that struggles to play 25 games...
Have you seen Cicinho defend? I don't how good he is going forward, a defenders job first and foremost is to defend, anything else is a Given a choice between the three you'd have to be out of your mind to prefer either Cicinho or Cafu ahead of Ferreira.
That's it. Now go ahead and prove me wrong, show where I have insulted anyone directly apart from you because you don't count.

I know we have had our arguments and disagreements - many of them not exactly "beautiful" - but I do appreciate your attempt to straighten things out in this thread and bring everyone back to his/her senses.
Well, probably pretty soon your wish will be, but it might take a little time for the passion to subside :firedev:

You don't have to call someone a ****-up or something like that in order to insult them - you insult with the way you just come out of nowhere and totally ignore everything else but your opinion - no arguments, nothing - just total and utter lack of respect. You don't question people's opinions, you cross them out and ignore them.
You often may very well have a valid point, but the way you try to present it makes it all look ignorant at best. Again, not using f-words and such, doesn't mean you are not insulting anyone.

I asked you to do one thing, just one thing and you couldn't do it. It was a nice attempt at trying to cover you arse but as I said unlike you I don't go around saying your daddy, your mammy, questioning people's intellect etc, etc. That is an insult and lack of respect. Posting facts to back up my claims isn't nor is being sarcastic, that's just how I roll. And I don't agree with anyone? What's this then? :

Agreed. As far as I know Milan have shown no interest so far and it looks like the plan is for Alex to partner Nesta.

I agree. Sell him and use the money to pay Ballack's wages!

Exactly. The Champions League is the highest level not Serie A, the Premiership, La Liga or any other league.
If you're keeping count that's three people over the past week.
And here's one from the summer :

I agree that mentally it may have had an effect. Fatigue isn't an issue, goalkeepers don't get tired.
See it's all there in black and white.

:musk:
Just drop it...
As for the topic, it's an OLD NEWS.:fright:
how can i add a person to my ignore list?
after you log in, find 'USER CP' (it is on the left-top corner; if you have problem finding it; try "CTRL-F" and type in "User CP", you will find it easily. then in the left, you will find "Buddy / Ignore Lists". You can easily work it out then. if you still have problem, which I doubt, you can send me a PM. Good luck. :)

Oh, god, you are right - how could he be so vicious with such a sainthood-worthy person like you? That is so uncalled for. Tz-tz-tz.
Maybe this will refresh your memory and will give you a better idea what 1st, 2nd, and 3rd mean:

And again - form an opinion first, and then start arguments. As for crying like a baby. this should never be an option. This last one goes for your killer-named friend above.
