i don't know what to think about him...
in the past he was exelent... today pff

i already doubted why milan bought him. like in this last champions league game against psv.

he is not exelent but he can control a ball and give em back. and a good header. but he isn't that effecient :s
it is like he is an average player. he is a good target man but thats all.

what u think about vieri now the competition started after a few weeks, and champions league.

did he fill in (y)our expectations?? (well I thought he was worse but he is average, and why can't he score :s 0 goals this season, UL child )

I'm not a fan at all of Vieri and the only way he can win me over is by scoring goals and lots of them!

Deja Vu.
Last year with Crespo it was exactly the same whining and biatching from summer to winter until he finally found his form. Now the story repeats with Vieri, although yesterday it was just his first game to get booed by certain individuals deceivingly calling themselves Milan fans – Crespo had to go through much more than just one such game before he started scoring.
Have some more faith in Vieri and Milan players altogether. Give this guy a break, he needs time find his rhythm.

i never whined about crespo. i knew crespo was good and still is. but just vieri pfff he is to old, to slow, .. but strong(something positive :p)

i had no expectations of him. i thought he was good enough to warm our bench :p

i thought sheva and gila. 3rd was inzaighi (if he found his form) and last vieri.
but it seems vieri and sheva are the strikers.

no one said you did this or you did that - I am referring to MIlan fans as a whole because, correct me if I am wrong, but I honestly doubt you were among those at the San Siro, who last year booed Crespo and now are doing the same with Vieri.
What you could learn from Crespo's story, however, is that patience is a virtue and it won't hurt no one if you and other Milan fans wait a bit longer before you guys open the whining season.

maybe the problem is we don't have patience. he need to do more. like in the game against psv when PIPO came in, pipo fought he knows he is not in shape but is motivated, he needs to deserve his place. unlike vieri now is certain... when i c it.

i am not booeing em. i am just saying normally he has less skills then pipo, sheva, gila.
maybe milan just needs to train on his positioning. cause PIPO and sheva are masters in that. thats why he seems to be less good.

now we can give him time, but will we win the serie A then? and champions league? or a good position... hmm doubt it. hope we buy 1 midfielder in january.

but we will c. if u are right. normally a player gets time till january. hope he will proe emself then.

i wish him all the luck :d

I'm a big fan of Vieri and I was really happy when we signed him. But the reality is that he is finished. He was finished as a top striker in his last season with Inter already. I hoped that joining Milan will be an uplift for him like it was for Seedorf and Pirlo, but I quess he's just too old and his best times are behind him.

Giving washed up players a chance may work out on occasion, just as it did with Crespo, but it doesn't work out on more occasions, just as it didn't with Rivaldo. I just don't see Vieri transforming like Crespo did. And, it hasn't been just one game. The guy has sucked in pretty much every game he has played this year. I hope he finds his form, as I have nothing against the guy, but I am not optimistic. Plus, we don't need to play him in key matches when we have a healthy Gilardino sitting on the bench. Gilardino, not Vieri, should start in champions league matches.

no one is saying that Vieri WILL be FOR SURE another Crespo. Before, however, you guys start attacking him, you should give it some time for one never knnows what might happen later on.
As for Gila being our second striker, second to Sheva that is, I agree but keeping Vieri on the bench won't help him to possibly regain his form and confidence of a couple of years ago just like it didn't help Crespo ... that's why Carlo kept playing the Argentinian even when the fans were booing him.

the difference between the cresp and vieri situation is that in vieri's situation we have a world class player like gila that had to be benched but in crespo's case u can't compare jdt to gila.

Crespo was at least a mobile/agile striker even when he wasn't scoring. Vieri is like a freakin flag pole, and he can't even shoot on targer anymore.

Even Tommason was better than Vieri. It makes no sense to have sold Tommason to get a washed up player like Vieri.

Sometimes I think the duo of Crespp/JDT was better than the duo of Gila/Vieri. Milan could have bought Crespo for 8/10 mil and spent some money on buying a good midfielder.

No matter how mad I am at Bobo right now, deep inside, I still hope that he can get his goal scoring touch back. Or am I expecting too much of him?
And about Gila, he is eventually going to get better and better, I really don't expect him to flop

If i start thinking about it Tommason was perfoming better than vieri when called upon and he was younger such a mistake then

yea gila, like other guy said will be worth every penny.

yesterday night, both Vieri Gila gave us a marvellous victory at Empoli: past season we lost scudetto in Siena, a "small" team like Empoli. In the air, for sure this year we are stronger. I think it's enough
