View Full Version : moggi will become milanista??
Ain't it funny what money can do? Its well known that Berlusconi had some meetings with Moggi and that Moggi's contract is coming to the end soon. There was an article in one Croatian sports papers from a man that wrights really good stuff and knows football( he is wrighting just about serie a ), and it talked about Berlusconi's wish to have the best people around him. The relationship betveen them two is looking good recently and it is suspected Berlusconi is trying to convince Moggi to take GM place at milan. ( and Silvio can be really convincive...). So what do you think about this? If there are some people from Italy they should know more, it not a total rummor for sure... :diablo:

On this website, you can read an interview with Moggi (It's in Italian)...
http://www.lastampa.it/sport/sport_juve2.asp
In this article, it's also said that Berlusconi and Moggi had a lot of meetings recently, but Moggi denies that they talked about a transfer of him to Milan.
People who know more about this? Or is this only a rumour?
what would happen to galliani then?! ... if it means galliani leavesthen no thanks

galliani is president. berlusconi is just owner because of a conflict of interest with him being president.

This is so true - he is one of the most hated people in Serie A but I can't deny his contribution to Juve's success over the years. What's even funnier is that rumours in Italy mention not only Moggi but also Antonio Giraudo (the last one from the Juve "magic" trio is Roberto Bettega) as a possible future "acquisition" for Milan.
As for a possible conflict with Galliani, the latter is our vice president/CEO and if someone would see his responsibilities and even his position cut short that would have to be Ariedo Braida and/or Umberto Gandini.
He is the transfer guru. Can someone please tell me what Braida actuallydoes apart from spot players we never seem to buy.

Braida is our transfer guru, so he would be the one Moggi would replace if he comes at Milan. Then Braida would either be given a new position at the club or maybe even shown the door for I honestly doubt he would wanna work with Moggi. But who really knows, maybe we could have two transfer gurus :rone:

I personally think Moggi is a genius but he is also an asswipe, so no go for Moggi for me!!!
Maybe we could sign him and sack him straight away, he would be too embarassed to go back :ilol: then again he may go to inter
Does anyone know how much money inter have spent in comparison to Milan and Juve over the years. It would be interesting to know, especially since they havent won anything.
Moggi is a slimy, lying bastard, but he's really good at transfers. When Milan bought Rui Costa, he bought Nedved for the same price. While Milan got Vieri for free, he got Mutu for free. He bought Cannavaro for only 2 or 3 mil euros. He sold half of Miccoli's contract to Fiorentina for 8 mil euros and bought it back a year later for only 1 mil. Only he hasnt been very good at bringing talented South Americans like Kaka and Cafu, but we have Leonardo to look after the South Americans.
Overall, I wouldnt want someone so slimy running Milan, but as the transfer guru he would be better than Braida who brought players like Javi Moreno. And especially because Moggi is very influential in the football circles of Italy. He has many contacts in the smaller clubs, and I'm sure he even knows the referees quite well! Also his son, Alessandro Moggi, is a pretty big agent.

But this is the problem...if Moggi was in Milan, right now, Kaká would be playing in the Real Madrid (remember: "an player w/ an name like this(Kaká) can´t play in Italy")...this guy is good in his job, but as brazilian(and biased), I don´t want him in Milan, cuz he don´t like brazilian players(Emerson is a Capello transfer).

People are suggesting Berlusconi's secret meeting with Moggi was for Zambrotta.
And we all remember how much we were linked with right-backs over the summer, and ended up not getting one became kind of a problem to us.
This season so far, all I have seen us being linked with are central-back's, players that will take central roles or solid right backs or left backs, i have not seen us linked to any of wing-back player recently (and Cicinho has not been linked with us since Real got first option, and Oddo's name has just been disappeared of the transfer market after we did not get him)
Do you all think that there could be a chance that we are not being linked with wing-backs because we already found our solution? Ironically, I havent seen us being linked with full-backs after Moggi's meeting with Berlusconi! but I could be wrong ofcourse.
What ya'all think?
Zambrotta, now thats a signing. Could be possible now they have Chiellini, but wasnt Janku supposed to be the best left back in Seria A for a while. So why is Carlo only considering him for left wing, when he is clearly better than Kaladze and if Ancelotti thinks hes too attack minded why is he playing Sergio???

With Cafu and Serginho near retirement, and Jankulovski/Kaladze both able to play on the left-back, we will be looking for right-backs. I believe Zambrotta would be perfect as he can play on any wing in either defence or midfield. The problem is Zambrotta loves juve too much to leave them for a direct rival.

Who are those people suggesting that the meeting had anything to do with a possible Zambrotta transfer? Let's clarify a bit on that first and then start discussing dreamy transfers.

I believe Trabelsi will be moving on from Ajax after refusing to sign a new contract.
Moggi may be good for Milan in a business sense, but personally I'm not too keen on him coming and doubt he will.
Juve prepare Ajax clean-up Tuesday 8 November, 2005
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Juventus are reportedly planning a raid for three Ajax players, with Maxwell, Hatem Trabelsi and Nigel de Jong all targets for the Turin club.
After the successful signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Ajax, it seems that Juve are ready to go Dutch again, having set their sights on no fewer than three of his former teammates.
Director general Luciano Moggi spent nearly £11m on the rangy Sweden striker in 2004, but is renowned for his determination to maintain a healthy balance sheet at the Stadio Delle Alpi.
Maxwell, Trabelsi and de Jong are all out of contract at the end of the season and it seems that Moggi is keen to snap them all up at give-away prices.
Left-sided full-back Maxwell has long been coveted by the Bianconeri and his is thought to be a done deal with a four-year agreement worth £1.7m a season already in place.
Trabelsi, who operates on the opposite flank and can also play on the right wing, will be of particular interest once he receives European citizenship in January.
He is expected to replace Jonathan Zebina, whose list of bizarre injuries and excessive wage demands have left him out of favour with La Vecchia Signora.
De Jong is a highly-rated midfielder whose father played for Holland. It is thought he has also agreed a move to Turin, where he may have to fight for a place with Cristiano Zanetti.
The latter, who is out of favour at Inter, is also near the end of his contract and is held in great esteem by boss Fabio Capello given their past together at Roma.

hmmm i haven't heard Trabelsi's name in ages in the press and now, one day after i mention his name he is linked with Juve!
Well, Trabelsi will be out of contract next summer, do you think our management ignore the winter transfer window as we always do?
trabelsi has been out of everyone one elses mind because he was injured first and he also fell out with koeman at his time there and didnt get any playing time from what i remember, he probably lost shape from those two i guess.
we should get him.
capello will leave juve and they'll be rubbish again.
juve are never rubbish, you are confusing them with inter
they were when we won the scudetto... if it werent for capello im not sure they wouldve recovered from that
yeah they where total crap before capello came in. milan, inter and roma where all playing better football.
Come on, this is Juve we are talking about. We dont have to like them, but we sure as hell have to respect them. They are the most succesful team in Italy and seem to always compete for the scudetto.
I'll take Moggi any day, the man simply does his job perfectly.
Everything is perfect from a distance.
Everything is perfect from a distance.
Yeah so right man
a goal for a team is to win, it seems moggi can do it. I dont like him personally, but i like his results.

What is wrong with all of you Moggi supporters? He is a Juve employee and as far as I am concerned, should stay there or at the very least stay away from Milan.
His success is based upon the fact Juve hold a lot of power in Serie A and not because of his genius in the transfer market.
I don't like it when Milan acquire players with Juventus on their resume - so why would I want the symbol of everything that is evil to operate our club?
Moggi to Milan? no man... no can do.. he's like to buy and sell players like some kind of tools ar toys.. what if Ambro sold to Newcastle? Gattuso to MU? Pirlo to Madrid? Sheva to Chelsea? He doesn't care how many years the players played for Milan, as long as the players gives the multi million dollars benefit from transfers and got new players with cheap prices..

Maybe thats why Juve have 29 scudettos? Because he does not personal emotions come in the way. But that is not totally true as you can see with Del Piero. Before him Conte.
