Hey guys,

How possible do you think it is for him to join us over the summer? He was already linked to us this past summer but the transfer did nnot go through. So I see this as a dim possibility.
And the 2nd question is, how would you like it if he signs for Milan? Honestly I am not particularly fond of him although I would actually like to him play for us as he is a true champion. AND I AM AWARE THAT WE ARE NOT IN DIRE NEED OF NEW STRIKERS, but such an acquisition could possibly boost the talent level and the confidence of our team...Any comments?

I have always wanted him.. He is a player that can return to his top form without a doubt, not Vieri! Another option would be Henry for me

I would only want ronaldo for financial reasons. having ronaldo in our team simply means more poeple will be following us and paying more which will lead to having more money 2 spend and ofcourse it will help galliani make milan a world brand. but as a player we don't need him, if we need an attacker we just need some young guy to be our fourth striker instead of vieri(who earns alot).

He is FAT but he is one of the most formidable strikers in Europe...Can you beat that?

he truely is one of the most formidable strikers in the world but we have THE most formidable striker in the world.

Getting Ronaldo this summer is a pipe dream. With help from the Milan Lab he would be devastating. But the problem is after the World Cup his stock will rise dramatically. Especially if Brazil win or have a good run, Ronaldo fever would be at a high. No way Madrid would give him up at that point. The only time for him to come would have been last summer, unfortunately I think our chance is gone.

ronaldo is no longer the star striker of brazil. with adriano and robinho now on the squad i will be surprised if he even comes close to duplicating his 02 performance.

i think Ronaldo is overated as a player. He isnt very consistent. I would prefer Henry to Ronaldo, Henry would be most useful to us with his pace!

definetely. henry and sheva. that would the the deadliest striker combination in the world, and henry seems to be set on leaving arsenal. ronaldo is so overrated because he plays fo real madrid, just like mostly everybody is overrated there. but i think realistically we hav no chanc of getinh either of them, and i wouldnt want to if it meant wed hav to get rid of gila.

the deadliest pair upfront is easily shevchenko and adriano... thats a killer of an attack because both have everything a striker needs, henry, ronaldo and even others that mght be mentioned like etoo and van nistelrooy miss something, these 2 dont... sheva would go under the speedy striker more than a big guy for me yet he has everything a big striker has and he certainly has what speedy strikers do as well. adriano is more of a big man but he can run with the ball he has skills and what a left foot, he can also head and hes a bull. imagine what theyu would do together.

zlatan and gila are also perfect pairings to sheva i think, once they reacht their peak

zlatan has already reached his peak. he is one of the best strikers in the world now and he looks like he wants to stay in juve. he has amazing technique for a player his size. but lets be hapy with gila for now, he wil also develop into a world clas striker in a few years.

IMO, zlatan has yet to reach his peak for he still shows the inconsistency of a great talent but not a great player.

for cheap I'd take him. Cheap would be about 6m.

maybe milan lab could help him lose some pounds, he's certainly not past it.

Ronaldo from Real Madrid?!... No we need new blood, young people... I mean he's talented and recoverable and everything but that same policy brought us Vieri... I think we must change mentality and instead plan long-range... and about the capital gains from his commercial image... well I belive that too much publicity exposure brings too much distraction... and this is something I wouldn't like our players falling victim of... I always pray for our players to remain focused and down-to-earth, 115% committed to Football... no ego trips. :p231: :hopefull:

i saw a lot of time already. how many more do you want me to see? its a torture watching him play, which idiot would do 10 stepovers without getting pass a single player and then do a simple pass back to his team mates. ask him to go back to the circus if he don't know how to play soccer.

I can agree with buying youth talents instead of Ronaldo but about Ronaldo being not good enough for Milan, I beg to differ! I think he is one of those who can play for any club in the world PERIOD! End of the story

no he just plays for inter! and im not trying to be funny!

inter are inconsistant, therefore its no surprise that they dont have cnsistant players

u pair adriano next to sheva, do u really think he wont score as much?

Wow if we could get Ronaldo, im pretty sure we can get him to top form as he is not 30 yet, so there is at least another 3 years in him. And if Ronaldo's in top form, daaaaaaaaamn! Im pretty sure that Ronaldo and Sheva will assist so many goals for each other and score loads. Damn what a thought, too bad Real have a tight grip on him.

a lot of man u fans would be glad to be rid of him. his home is spain, where is sort of play is appreciated. in italy defenders would be happy to stay close and watch him do all his tricks and send in poor crosses.

I don't think anybody would really want a kid who does unnecessary stepovers if they know a little about soccer/football. That is how he plays. 10 stepovers, and then passing back to Keane or Richardson when the defender is on his case...LAME!!!!

apparently Real Madrid have said they'll pay 20m. If i was Man U I'd take it. He's too luxury given Man U's problems right now.

ohhhh, i guess you and me watch the same games. :dcool: apparently some man u fans are still blinded by his stepovers. he is freaking useless. i would have started a thread to kick him out if he was in milan and play like this. i must say at one period of time last year, he played really well and i thought he have finally become a good player but man was i wrong, he is becoming worse and worse nowadays.

back to the topic, i actually don't mind seeing ronaldo in milan, i have seen more skills coming from him than vieri, that is for sure. he is still a rather good player but there is no way milan is going to pay big money for him, gila and sheva is a great pair of strikers, i can't see where can he slot in for a first team spot.

Ronaldo doesnt do the simple thing nearly enough, but hes just come back from injury and has come back into one of the worst united teams for years. Let Keane, Neville, Giggs, Heinze etc come back and watch the kid fly again.
