Brazilian playmaker Kaka’ has invited Roma idol Francesco Totti to join AC Milan.
“Sure I would like him to play with me. He would fit fell in the Selecao. Seen as I’m staying at Milan for life, I think he should catch-up with me here,” the former Sao Paulo star told reporters yesterday.

Oh no, not again. Over the years I've gotten so sick of Totti links to Milan.
I don't want it to happen, Totti's not needed here nor is his arrogance.
Whats the source for this anyway?
The right time was a couple of seasons ago, not now

I think he could still be useful! Although maybe not as useful as he could be a few seasons ago...Oh whatever, I am sure that this is yet another ruor OR a personal wish of Kaka. He has been linked to us waaaaay too many times over the past few years
Someone asked kaka if he would like to play with Totti, kaka said yeah and thats about it. :ilol: As if Kaka would ever say no about any player
Kaka is such a nice guy.
he's positive, positive about everyone.

I bet there are a hundred players Kaka would have loved to play with, but that doesn't mean they're Milan-bound... Our attack is Kaka, Shevchenko and Gilardino, so I don't see where Totti should fit in. But then again, other great fantasistas have enjoyed quite some time on the Milan-bench, like Rui Costa and Baggio...

freekick shooting? the last i know, our pirlo have been scoring freekicks a few times the rate at which totti is doing so.

My fear is that Totti disappears in big games. Look at his international performances. Look at his attitude. I want Milan players to display their "arrogance" by scoring goals, sublime passing, excellent defending, not spitting on people and causing problems.
I'm being hard on him, I know, but I really don't like him at Milan. Is he a good player, yes. Probably better suited for a team where he is the star. As a leader, he doesn't cut it.
If we're going to get anyone from Roma, let it be Mancini, Chivu, or Cassano - but NOT Totti.
-- The news release was probably just mind games.

First of, I had been away, to those who had been here for more than 4 years, u might remember me as Gavin426. Just want to say it is good to be back.
Anyhow, I had not been visiting here due to work, but now, I am back
Anyway, cannot believe Bobo is gone. And is Totti coming to Milan, since I read at ACMILAN.com, an interview with Berlu sort of slipped that 'Kakà and Totti would probably work well together behind Sheva in attack'
What do u guys think?

Can u please give us the direct link to that interview? how long ago was it?
I think its purely fantasy football, and i honestly do not think that Totti will leave Roma, especially for an italian team

I too cannot believe that Roma will miss Cassano and Totti at the same window transfer.
no chance and besides we dont need him, hes even a bigger nutshell than cassano is and cassano was cheap, this guy would cost a record breaking price

Here is the article
SILVIO BERLUSCONI: "Istanbul doesn’t weigh anymore"
1/10/2006 12:12:00 AM
MILAN - "Nine points are a lot and even if you don’t give up I can’t see Juventus slipping up." This is what Italy prime minister Silvio Berlusconi had to say on an Italian television sports show when asked about Milan moving into second spot in the table. "Juve are a robust team that use skill and fitness along with tactics. I think Juve will do well in the Champions League as well." Turning to his Milan, Berlusconi returned to the night in Istanbul and said: "It was tough for the early part of the season psychologically but now now there are no negative affects from this game. Finishing second in Italy would not be a result to be thrown away but Europe can still be ours." Berlusconi also talked about the international side and said: "Vieri can light up Monaco and Cassano lift Real Madrid. We are fortunate to have such worthy strikers."
There is also no way Berlusconi would swap Adriano Galliani for his opposite number at Juventus, Antonio Giraudo: "I hold Giraudo in high regard and with Luciano Moggi they have taken Juventus to a new managerial demension and created a team that is always in the running. As for Galliani, I can’t make a judgement without speaking about friendship. As for any conflict of interests with his position as football league president, he has never complained about referees and his conflict of interest is of no advantage." Berlusconi also cleared up any meeting there was meant to have happened with Moggi: "I never met with him after the Abbiati deal who felt not being a regular with us. Why did we bring in Vieri? I honestly didn’t think Inzaghi would fully return as I didn’t think the defence would have so many injuries. Galliani is looking for a defender. I have no news on Amoroso. With Rui Costa coming in, Kakà can play as an attacker."
Are two attackers better than two attacking midfielders? "It’s important that our style of play forces the opposition to defend. Kakà and Totti would probably work well together behind Sheva in attack." To end, Berlusconi talked about his future hope: "One day I would like to return to being Milan president because I enjoy it. Politics, instead, makes life hard, difficult and gives little satisfaction."
The article is today
One more thing, personally, I think it is not a good idea bringing in Totti at this time. I would rather have Milan spend the Totti's money on a defender.

I simpy cannot believe that Berlusconi is not concerned with the fact that our squad has very little depth. If a key player like Kaka or Sheva eventually pick a serious injury, we will be in serious trouble. We need urgently more squad depth!!!

obviously you don't know who else do we have in our squad. does rui costa ring a bell? did you see how well he played when called upon? inzaghi still score when being played...these are the players called upon when in need. stop your " we need more players, buy buy buy!" you are better off going to support chelsea....let's just buy 55 players so that we can have 5 players for every postition and make some people happy. :delol:

i wouldn't even want him for free, seriously. he have already missed the boat. i don't think rui costa is inferior compared to him. i am looking forward to more defense signings than this kind of useless rumors.

Exactly, hwmook, I would rather have Milan spend on defender now than someone like Totti, since Milan already have guys like Rui Costa and Pippo. Then there is always Serginho that could play upfront too.
Totti wont eer leave his Roma, he has sacrificed his career for the love of his club. he will retire a Roma player.
