I would like to say i think this is an ok signing . would of been better a younger player but this is our 4th striker and a 31 year old brazillian is better physically than a 31 year old european.

Lets hope we buy a key defender b4 end of january!

I want to know if he has a european passport because if not then we won't be signing anyone non-eu in summer. That means no other brazilian players but more annoyingly, no chivu (romania won't join the EU until 2007).

i agree with cafu thay are great player both alex and lugano we have to sign them soon as possilble but we have to wait till june as galliani said this maked me sick really

yeah but what if ather teams goes by them i heard chelsea are in way ti sing alex aslo lugano somewhere in europe than we have to look another defender and who knows if thay can do in milan with alex and lugano its much easier everyone knows that thay are champions great players

It is not a bad signing, and he is 1 year younger than finished Vieri, and brazilian. I remember, when he scored 3 goals against us in the game Dortmund 4-0 Milan. For 4th striker he will be much better than Vieri.

But, other news are annoying me that Ballack is flattered by Juve interest, and Galliani told, that we will not buy any defender before June!?????

I am not so happy in these days, when I see the best forward line, and the worst defence together......

We need Maldini and Cafu back as soon as possible!!!!

Can some list exactly what the rules are for signing non EU players?

is it one per year? transfers within EU teams don't count? we can't sign Amoroso now,
and Lugano, and Chris in June, I think

MILAN - Adriano Galliani spoke about Marcio Amoroso's medical visit: 'He came through it as we announced and don't understand the voices of alarm in the newspapers yesterday. Our own Daniele Tognaccini also worked with Amoroso when he was at Udinese under Zaccheroni and he said the tests were much better than back then. As for the defence, I can confirm Milan will not sign a defender in January. We'll think about it in June.'

We can all agree that we need a defender, but what I can't understand is that can our defence really get that bad in 6 months? I meen 6 months ago we were talking about the best defence in the world. I think the problem is in their head.. because the fans and press are talking about it all the time.
I would also say, save the money until June... It is really difficult to get a new defender adjusted to our team in the middle of a season. We just need to get Maldini and Cafu back - then we will be okay for the rest of the season.
I agree...and for Amoroso... He is 1000000x better than Vieri, and more important. He is a player that can create his way to goal. I have much respect for Pippo(I don´t like his style), but two players that can not create his goal was too much. So, good luck Viery(and Amoroso).

amoroso is a wise signing for fourth striker. he has the potential to be our number two striker because he is a sort of supporting striker not a true striker which can distribute more balls to striker in penalty area.

given the assumption that we dont buy any defenders until june, i think our defence should be ok, they just need to be more focused and work harder.

well I d not know much of Amouroso but i think Milan miss atrick or two here why didn't they opted to swap Vieri for S.Adebayor. Abedyor is a very good player from Togo plus he is just 21. Anyways now Amouroso is here and Adebayor at Arsenal so I gotta support Amouroso rather then crying over Adebayor.

I am sure there is extensive medical reports supporting this very obvious fact. Probably done by the same guy coming to the conclusion that europeans brains are twice the size of Brazilian brains.

Opinion noted. I prefer players that will contribute in a positive way to the team, I have no homoerotic pedophilic fantasies about new players we buy so their age isn't as important.

As for Amoroso, he was great in Udinese, but have been up and down since then, maybe because of his injuries. I heard he been good in Brazil as of late, but for me he is a wildcard and may even end up not being a factor at all if the other strikers are fit.

I think that We may sign as many non-EU players as we want as long as we sign them from Italian clubs. From outside of Italy, I think it is one per year. But don't warry, Amoroso has an Italian passport.
