hey, you guys have probably noticed that Ribery's face is disfigured... there's a reason for that...

when he was a 2 year old baby, his father had a car accident and Ribery was trown out the windshield, suffering horrible cuts and injuries... they had to remove part of the skin on the right side of his face, and he has 2 big scars across the forehead, and right cheek (from the top of his forehead to the bottom of his jaw)... that's why he can't grow hair until behind his right ear... and his nose still looks broken...

Now, as an adult and a pro-player, he has made enough money to go under reconstructive surgery to remove the scars, fix his nose and teeth, but has refused to... saying he doesn't need to be ashamed of his scars, as they represent his survival...

so I will not make fun of him because of his looks... if I did before it was because I didn't know this...

Tevez had a similar probem. When he was a baby, her aunt accidentaly poured a jar of boling water on his body, so thats why he has scars on his neck and chest. His reason for not treating this scars was something like what Ribery said.
