ARE BACK! Thanks Rez and Debs. We as members will do our best to uphold the integrity of this priviledge you have entrusted to us again. Though I cant speak for everyone, this is my personal pledge to you and Rez.
FORZA MILANMANIA!
OK, here's the stipulation. We decided to allow them again b/c we'd re-posted the "new" rules. EVERYONE needs to read those rules and understand that all rules apply to the siggies AND to the avatars. If people abuse the privilege of having sigs or avatars, we'll disallow them again for what could be an indefinite period of time.
Sigs and avatars are NOT a right, they are not an automatic thing, but when vBB added those features way back when we thought those would be cool ways to allow people to personalize their presence here. For some reason over the years, we have encountered people who feel the need to use those features to take swipes at other races, other creeds, people who happen to live in a country they don't like and/or just be plain CRUDE and rude. Sigs are back on as long as none of that tripe happens.
The other thing is....some people have these frikkin huge sigs that take up your entire computer screen and that kinda leaves you searching for the actual reply. And if the reply is just a one-liner....well, it's a total waste. People don't understand why we can't move to some tiny, cheap server. We're talking performance, and everything we add here adds to what we need to support the performance we're all used to.
Sigs are back, enjoy them, don't abuse them.
