Oh, what can I say - couldn't resist the temptation to open this thread and discuss Inter's heroics vs Bayern.
Inter lost to Bayern 0-2 at San Siro and Ibra got sent off in 13th min of 2nd half for 2 YCs. In the 40th of 2nd half - Grosso got sent off after a straight red for an elbow on Sagnol.
In another game - Barce equalized for 1-1 vs Werder in the 89th minute ... I am guessing Reijkaard is on his way out and they are planning a transfer coupe for January
But why talk about Barca - let's celebrate Inter - the best team ever assembled, according to Inter fans that is :u31:
chin, chin  :D

:D:D I had some money on Inter losing.. can't ever go wrong when u bet against Inter ;)
Yea....i really want to see the ones that were hailing Inter's transfer campaign right now. Inter is pathetic. They will have such a tough time in Russia against Spartak. I doubt they can take 3pts from Moscow. They need a lot of luck to make it out of the group and and ofcourse.....some great performances, something that they seem to be alergic to. :grinser:
"lol, incredible game yet again from our super-team...
Man, I just don't have any words to describe this, we just plain suck...
Phuck all of these overpaid pussies, phuck this team" - this is a quote from and Inter fan on Forzainter.com :devf: :grinser: I am really enjoying myself right now.
"
Meet the new Inter...
Same as the old Inter." ....haha this one rally made me laugh!!! :haha:
Sorry guys..but I just cant hide the excitement right now!!!
"We played better in the 4-4-2 any other tacits suck and i swear i got proff who wants to go fuk
we played **** thats all Grosso and Ibra are stupid

Our Squad is Much better then Milans Even more better then Milans Last season with Shevchenko there, And Milan won 4-1, if they can do it, then we can do it, Our Confidence has boosted up since that Roma Victory, We played Great football.
stupid looosers
Poor Karim, he must be well annoyed!
Inter shoot themselves in the foot again!!!! Two red cards and then two late goals, they seem to be having a competition to see who can get sent off the most. Bayern are a tough team to play against, so a 0-0 draw and a point wouldn't have been so bad, but now they're in a bit of trouble although luckily they have 2 matches against the weakest team in their group to try and correct things.

sorry for the language used ... but I am sure you guys will understand :ilol:
"We are such a big shame to be called Champions of Italy. What a joke of a team. The Ref. was poor, but we were even worse. Today is the day, that Mancini might go, eventhough I hardly think that it is his fault that our players, cant stay on teh field.
Cordobo sucked so bad, and figo has compeltly lost it. Crespo missed one of the easiest chance I have ever seen. SCREW INTER"
pretty realistic view on things, I think :5ok:
Awesome editing Zlatanov. But I'm just waiting to see how Mr. Moratti tackles this defeat in his typical 'cool' fashion.
And to be honest I don't think anyone really acknowledges Inter as the champion of Italy yet as opposed to what the inter fan wrote. Just read what inter superhero Maicon said on their website. Hilarious....

Hey guys,
A couple of days ago I found a link - posted by a member of another Milan forum - to a Polish site where one can watch a full replay of almost all CL games.
Sometimes, for users utside of Poland, you might have to try several times before the game starts ... it works great for me :) ... I use Mozilla, just allow pop-ups from the site since the player starts in a pop-window.
Here is the link and attached is a screen portion from this same site with some key-words translated:
http://itvp.pl/ligamistrzow/i.tvp/
NOTE: to see a list with all games, click on "04. MECZE" and then on the "clock" icon with "zobacz mecz" next to it.
I simply don't understand y Milan fans hate Inter Milan :lazy: , for Heaven sake, How can u gus for get the best derby of he world, [(AC vs Inter) Milan  ] :5schal:
I hope Inter makes it 2 the round of 16 and clashes with the likes Arsenal, Man Utd, Luckypool, Barca, Madrid and not only beat them but embarace them by firing 4-5 goals ;)

Anyone watching the Barca Chelski game? Its going as usual i.e. great. 3 yellow cards till now and many more on the way by looking at the crunching tackles exchaged on both sides. Ronaldinho is working hard to improve his reputation but isn't getting the results. Messi is doing a fantastic job. I am supporting chelski (as they are underdogs). Essien is simply fantastic. Overall Chelski is doing better than Barca as a team. For listings and streams check this link http://www.football4less.com/schedules/schedules_31102006.html

Lampard had his 5 minutes of glory. First with a 35 yard ground cross beating 3 Barca players and exactly on the foot of Robben who couldn't convert it. Then a 170 degree kick which beat Valdes and score a wonderful goal. Awesome Chelski play till now.

Gudjohnsen scored the second Barca goal. Its 2-1 now

And Drogba seals a draw at Nou Camp in the 92nd min of the game - 2-2 ...
rahul.acm
31-10-2006, 16:44
Its 2-2. Drogba equalised on the 93rd minute. They really look like a team. I have a strong suspicion that Rijkaard is facing some serious problems from the club officials and if he continues like this then he will surely get axed by the end of the season. Good game.
Barca in some trouble now. Whatever happens between Bremen - Chelsea on the next matchday Barca is in for a tough game against Werder Bremen. I am expecting Bremen to draw or even beat Chelsea which will force a heart stopping game between Barca and Bremen on the last matchday.
In group C Liverpool and PSV power through their group. I was expecting this one to be tough as Galatasaray is always tough plus the French were suposed to give some resistance. What a joke this group proved to be.
Valencia and Roma seem set to make it through in group D, unless Roma doesn't mess things up in the last two games. They are good enough though to make it through and I would expect them to draw in Ukraine to reach the last 16.
I watched Spartak-Inter and it wasn't a pretty one. Inter score so early that it messed Spartak's approach to the game. They had to change everything to adjust to the current result. But they failed to create anything significant anyway and Inter looked really dangerous on the counter. I also saw glimpses of Bayern-Sporting on my TV as I was mostly paying attention to Barca-Chelsea on my computer. From what I saw I think Sporting has what it takes to beat Inter in Milano. Man do I hope that happens in the next game and see Inter scared out of their mind going to Germany to beat Bayern. :D
I was surprised with Valencia and Roma(was down by 1 goal) , Valencia 2 times down by a goal but in the end draws in two matches . Saw the second half of Barca-Chelsea , Chelsea players were very agresive on Barca but in the end they got away with a important draw and things can get difficult for Barcelona now , btw great goal by Lampard in Drogba's Mourinho didn't hesitate to get down on his knees like he scored :bri: strange coach i gotta say :d33:
By the way, those of you that saw Barca - Chelsea.....What about Farina?
Why is this guy so highly regarded? He could not take controll over the match and even though it was a rough game.....it didn't deserve that many yellows. Yellow cards frustrate players even more. It makes them mad how the other team didn't get one and they did and back and forth. He got into all sorts of confusions a couple of times. Such a poor job. He sucked during the derby and he does it again.
Farina really sucked. :(
and damn Inter got lucky again. :fero:

He was terrible in both of the last two matches he's officiated. I've heard "comments" from Seedorf that Farina apparently raised his arm against in the tunnel during the Milan derby as Seedorf went to ask about his caution, but I've only heard it from Tribalfootball so far, so unless I see it elsewhere I doubt it's what Seerdorf said.
I don't think the ref was helped by the players. Puyol, Marquez, Motta, Deco, Essien, Drogba, Ballack, Carvalho ... they are all dirty players/diving cheats. The way Drogba was diving around in the first half was a joke. They (the teams) should have realised Farina is card happy after his derby exploits and thought, hang on maybe we shouldn't take too many liberties. I have no sympathy for any of the players, they dive and cheat they get what they deserve.
It was hardly a rough game either. Marquez and Carvalho's stamps aside, everything else was normal tackling. It just appears worse when those cheating players dive, tumble and arch their backs screaming in faux pain as if they've been shot!
The English commentary was a joke, 1 Ballack shot aside, Chelsea were clueless in the first half. They had a 10-15 minute period of pressure in the 2nd half and almost the last kick of the game to equalise and yet somehow they stood toe-to-toe with Barca and were better than them? Steve Rider, Andy Townsed, Robbie Earle, Clive Tyldsley & David Pleat ... you're all a waste of space. Stop the brown nosing and tell it like it is. Both teams were crap, both teams dived, both teams were dirty and apparently this is the final 'ALL' the public wants to see? Give me a break.
Messi, Deco (when he wasn't falling over), Zambrotta (considering he had to defend his wing by himself), Cole and Essien were the best players. Lampard had a cameo but then disappeared again. His goal was the biggest fluke i've ever seen, he couldn't do that again if he tried. But i guess it wasn't deflected this time  Which makes a change.
Mourinho's a joke too, if Rijkaard was to punch anyone Warro, i wish it would have been Mourinho! That guy is a complete arrogant t*sser.

You have to give recognition to Chelski's counterattacks. It is something that every team should learn from them. Of course there were incidents where players acted and cheated but don't let that take over the game both sides played. Chelski being away from home at a hostile nou camp were better than Barca. If Ballack/Robben could have converted his shot on a nearly open goal, ski would have come on top. It was a good game. Ref was fine; you have to understand the situation the Ref is when he is officiating a Barca-Ski match.
Chelsea were alright, but they weren't amazing. Neither team were. I can't see what all the fuss is about, this game was pretty poor. Both teams gave away the ball like it was a hot potato. Chelsea's counter-attacks all happened in those 10-15 mins, besides that they did nothing. Their midfield (creative wise) was poor.
If Ballack/Robben could have converted his shot on a nearly open goal, ski would have come on top
If Xavi could have scored his one on one, Barca would have won the game aswell. Both teams had chances. I just don't think it was a fantastic game, i wasn't overly impressed by either side.

An inquiry has been opened actually after this Seedorf - Farina argument. Milan and Inter have both been fined 5.000 euros from the derby.

Can u tell me why we were fined? Dont care about Inter...
Farina again showed why he should officiate Serie Z2...seriously, he couldnt ref a game in Jamaica...he would be lynched, burned in tyres, and decapitated before half time.
Suffice it to say that the Barca v Chelski game was bad enuf, without Farina adding his nonsense to it.
Rijkaard should have clocked him one.
Xudong: Inter got lucky, but I dont mind...I actually want them to do well in the UCL, as the further they go, the quicker they will collapse at home...I wish all Italian teams well in the group stage, as they make life easy for us come league time.
Inter had some sort of bust up in Moscow in the changing room..anyone know why, or what it was about?
I want them to get to the round of "8"..then they can do, as they usually do, and capitulate like the losers they are.
Can u tell me why we were fined? Dont care about Inter...
Oh for one of those usual fan behavior things … 9 clubs total were given fines for Week 9 games.
Fine of 5.000 to Milan for having its supporters ignite a bengala (flare??) at the start of the resumption of play and for launching 7 bottles :blind: in the playing field in the 11th minute of the 2nd half.
Inter’s fine was for lighting up an explosive in their area. :p1510:

No thread for the little brother of CL so I'll put it here (UEFA Cup)
Amelia (goalkeeper) scores the equalizer against Partizan in the 88th minute. How bizarre! He ran upfield to head in a free-kick! :sweeteye:
I was looking forward to seeing Palermo on tv and then they go and field a rubbish team! Hardly any decent players were on show, most of them were on the bench. Plus they lost, which is their own fault, they were quite poor.
No Amauri, Di Michele or Simplicio (until late on), Diana, Bresciano, Zaccardo .... Barzagli was awful. Very disappointed.
Huntelaar scored twice for Ajax. Hopefully they'll draw an English team and i'll be able to watch them.

They fielded their bench players against Frankfurt previously and just managed a win, while resting their starters for the match against Milan. Honestly, I don't think they care for UEFA Cup at all, as this season will be their best chance of getting at least top 4 in the league with Juve out and the others with penalties. The lineup was poor really, something they won't even do against the weakest Serie A club :drunk:
Amauri can't be fielded as he was cup-tied with Chievo CL qualifier, scored 2 goals actually there. Diana is injured for a month.
ah, i didn't realise about Amauri ... though i knew Diana was injured. He still should have played though as they should have known i was watching! :guw:
It is strange as they played a stronger team against West Ham to get into the Uefa Cup, but now as you said Arcy, they don't seem that bothered. That or they are extremely confident of finishing in the top 3 of their mini group.
That or they are extremely confident of finishing in the top 3 of their mini group.
I think that makes more sense. Not fielding starters against West Ham and not proceeding to the group stage wouldn't be a nice early exit. It was extreme to say that they don't care about it. They want to do just enough while keeping in mind that Serie A is a priority. Next time we should tell them not to slack up and give Jim some entertainment :grinser:

Hi guys!I found this page http://myp2p.eu/Matches/Match1.htm where you can see the CL draw!
On some countries like Greece they don't show the draw if there's not a greek team included in the draw so i was searching how to find and see the draw from a tv stream on internet and i found this http://myp2p.eu/Matches/Match1.htm
at the moment the streams that they will show the draw from the link that i gave you is TV Ants,Sopcast,PP Mate.
I hope this will help someone else like me too see the draw.(And i'm sorry about my english) :u56:

This is the draw for the round of 16
Porto Vs Chelsea
Celtic Vs AC Milan
PSV Vs Arsenal
Lille Vs Man Utd
AS Roma Vs Lyon
Barcelona Vs Liverpool
Real Madrid Vs Bayern Munich
Inter Vs Valencia
Roma can shock the French champions out, and the first four are "easy" for the group winners, shall we say. Valencia can win it as well.

These kinds of draws are always shown on uefa.com as well. That's were I always watch them, also the draw today.
Nice draw by the way.
Let's have a little fun. I know it is early and a lot can change untill the games are played, but currently I put my bet on these teams.
Porto Vs Chelsea (Chelsea)
Celtic Vs AC Milan (Milan)
PSV Vs Arsenal (PSV)
Lille Vs Man Utd (Man U)
AS Roma Vs Lyon (Lyon)
Barcelona Vs Liverpool (Barcelona)
Real Madrid Vs Bayern Munich (Bayern M)
Inter Vs Valencia (?)
I don't think Porto are a match to Chelsea right now and the same goes to Celtic to Milan.
Although many would think Arsenal is going to go through, I think this is going to be one of the surprizes, if we can call it that and Arsenal is going out. :D
Manchester is stronger then Lille while Lyon I think is going to the final this year.
Barcelona should get through Liverpool while Real and Bayern is going to be a dog fight, but I hate Madrid so I go for the Germans. :D

Unfortunately, all the italian clubs in europe have been a disgrace to Italian football.. they always humiliate Italy. I think Roma will get thrashed by Lyon, they wont even stand a chance. If the odds are good for that game I will definitely bet for Lyon, even though Roma is a team that I like the most after Milan.
Milan is the only team in Europe that plays well in Europe and never gets humiliated. True we threw away huge leads, but then we lose very closely on aggregate. Inter will lose to Valencia no matter how bad Valencia play because for one reason, the same reason why I think Milan will reach far in the CL: Inter is Inter, and Milan is Milan. Tradition counts more than form, especially in knock-out games. I hope i will be this optimistic come the game against celtic. This time around I will be in Cancun looking for a bar to watch the game.
Oh yeah and btw, does anyone know which games will be played on the same day as us? and anyone has the dates for the 2 legs against Celtic?

My take :
Porto - Chelsea, Chelsea without a doubt will win this
Celtic - Milan, I'm like Galliani I won't comment on this until it's over with
PSV - Arsenal, I hope PSV, but it will be Arsenal.
Lille - Man Utd, this is my funny one, Lille will win.
Roma - Lyon : Roma will be trashed Lyon will come down on them like Lazio force 10!
Barcelona - Liverpool : bye bye reds, game over for Liverpool, rabbit teeth wins.
Real Merda - Bayern : dunno, I guess Merda will win.
Inter - Valencia : Valencia, borrow some videos in Villareal, you can do it... but Inter will get through I'm affraid...
