Milan ....
Well: Chelsea,Olympique Lyonnais or Real Madrid i think. they are in a good condition right now.
Let's hope the next season Milan will be in the champions League again.
Barca definitely won't win again. If I were to pick someone aside from Milan..it'd be Lyon.
difficult to tell now... have to wait till next year~~~~

I feel like it's bad luck if I don't say "Milan", and luck's something Milan's been short on lately. So:
Milan
Milan
Milan
Milan
Milan
(And Barca seems likely too.)

will not be hot favourites like Chelsea... Arsenal... Lyon or Barcelona...
Surely AC Milan
Kaka, Maldini, Nesta, Inzaghi, Pirlo and Kaladze will fire up and Paolo will raise the trophy again :3band: :p283:

Chelsea are the strongest in Europe at the moment but a lot can change in 6 months, Milan might remember how to score, utd might remember how to win away games etc :D
as of today, Barca should repeat it, take into consideration , that by spring time, Messi and Eto'o will be back

nope barca doesnt win it..one because..they barely survived in their group...lyon on the other hand...amazing form...chelsea good team but lack teamwork...i think chelsea players are alot self centered...real madrid..they just lack the same intensity..they r much like milan...excpet..they somehow win...roma and inter.....both teams no way...CL is too big of a trophy for those teams to win..they will be caught in preassure sooner or later..milan if can find form might do something..but dats abt it.

I guess it's a bit early to predict the winner so I'll perdict the two finalists.
The first one is: Chelsea.
Beacuse they want it so bad. Even more than the league title I believe...
the second team I predict to reach the final or at least deserves to reach it,is: Lyon
Simply the best in europe...
Can Milan do it and reach the final?!!!
I hope . I mean why not..
in 2003 we did it because nobody predicted that we will.

I hope that if we reach the final this time at least we'll win it, I haven't digerated Liverpool yet, I don't think I ever will... but who will win it? Imho Lyon, since they trashed every opposition yet...

MILAN, HO ELSE?
1/8 CELTIC-MILAN 0-1 ; MILAN-CELTIC 3-1
1/4 MILAN-BAYERN 3-O ; BAYERN-MILAN 1-1
1/2 LIVERPOOL-MILAN 2-O ; MILAN-LIVERPOOL 5-0
FINAL: MILAN-CHELSEA 3-2 (GILA,KAKA,GILA---SHEVA,BONERA owngoal)
evrey day I dream that I see Maldini with the cup about his head
Lyon, ManU, Chelsea or Inter... IMO, these are the best teams in Europe in the moment...

Hopefully Probably Fingers-Crossed Lille, Barca And Porto All Go Thru The Next Round, Dont Like Facing Teams From The Same Country.Lol
i think Lyon and Chelsea are the biggest contenders for the champions league than comes Barca and Milan
I see Milan as a big contender for the champions league, because we always do well in the cl. The other big contenders will be: Barcelona, Inter and Manchester United.

I think on the next stage:
PSV - Arsenal - Arsenal is gonna win
Real Madrid - Bayern - Baern is gonna win
Lille - MU - MU is gonna win
Celtic - Milan - Milan is gonna win
Inter - Valencia - Inter is gonna win
Porto - Chelsea - If Drogba is fine then Chelsea is gonna win, if something happens to him - then Porto is through.
Roma - Lyon - Roma is gonna win
Barcelona - Liverpool - I really dont know..either can go through.
The final 4 in my opinion can be: Milan, MU, Chelsea and Barca or Liverpool. I think Inter and Roma will be too busy in their fight for Scudetto, they won't have enough strength for CL.

The winners are usually the ones who have been stable throughout the season (exception of Liverpool). ATM only 2 teams come to my mind
It can be Man U who look strong but they have already started yakking about the possible second treble this year, so I guess, in the end they will fall back on their asinos.
Inter? Yes they have a better chance than us. Mancini should have learnt from his previous experience and squad looks great. Just hope that they sign a hot potato like Cassano or Riquelme, then by the time the season comes to a close they might even lose their arranged Scudetto. But at the moment, they can win it.
Rest all teams have very very little chances. I also hope that we don't get complacent while facing Celtic. They are a very different team ATM. They scared Man U at home so they are not a side to be taken easily.

hmm many people seem to ignore Lyon.. i really think they will win it, and everyone will start talking about them winning it after they woop Roma..
The strongest team is Lyon. That is the one team I don't want to face. I think Milan stands right behind them and not because of the fact that I am a Milan fan, but because of the history we have in the CL and the players that we have.
We DO have one of the best line-ups out of all those teams in the CL, but the players weren't performing in the first half of the season. A lot of injuries hammered us and bad form. But with players like Maldini(experience), Nesta, Pirlo, Gattuso,Seedorf,Kaka,Gilardino we HAVE to be one of the biggest favorites. Simply because even if these players haven't been performing at the highest thus far......when the moment comes to play a quater, semi or a final against a big name team........these players WILL show up and when players like that show up it is hard to beat them. I know the other teams have big names as well, however our names are the ones that made it to 2 finals 1 semi-final in the past 4 years and trust me, Milan will be the team nobody will want to face because everyone knows how tough it is against Milan when these players are on form.

Lyon was better last year and they never won the cup. I can't say I can see very good reasons for them winning. If you follow the French league you could also see that they currently doesn't do as well and have big problems scoring. on this higher level they are a bit to reliant on the freekicks of Juninho IMO.

I sort of agree with kris on this. I also think that Lyon were a better team last year, not that they aren't good this year but still, they are yet to be really tested.
Although they did top their CL group, it was comprised of teams like newcomers Steaua and an awful Dynamo Kiev side not to forget a rather volatile and inconsistent, not to say poor, Real M, who are somehow still seen as favourites by some despite being so desperately disfunctional.
IMO, it would all depend on the momentary form of the teams when they meat at the end of February because if Lyon looked the big favourites in CL 2 months ago, now they are showing far less impressive displays and are having problems scoring, as well. 2 months ago, I would have picked as almost automatic winners in their clash with Roma but if the two teams were to play now, I would give it a 50-50 and maybe a slight advantage for Roma.
imho lyon is a good team, but nothing more than that. for french league they have superior team but in cl they lack something. i think players like malouda, fred, abidal... are good but will never be good enough to dominate europe...
juninho is top player, even carew is but that is it. wiltord is injured...
cant see them past the quaterfinals :w221:

I'll admit i'm not an AC Milan supporter (Sorry! thought i'd best get that out in the open straight away!) but i am interested in how you think you'll do in europe this season (how far you think you will get) and who your best player(s) are likely to be?

We'll get to quarter final, semi-final at the maximum and that's highly dependend on the adversary we'll get that's it. Best players? Kaka, Inzaghi, Maldini but that's my opinion, the optimists will tell you we'll win the final, while the pessimists will see us out against Celtic already.
I don't underestimate them but clearly if Milan can't qualify against them then frankly we wouldn't deserve to play the CL for the next two years.

i hope milan, roma or inter.
IMO WE will win CL again! It will be a great present for US(Milan supporters)! Milan can win it, if play in a right formation! I hope Carlo knows what to do!
Milan is Milan, Let's see, I am a fan of Real Madrid in Spain, they have many problem's in defence, also Capello... , Barca will not do it again, they are not so motivated like last year, Lyon, which is Lyon? a very good team but they dont have the name to raise the trophy, Manutd its my 2nd team in Europe we will see, but they are more focus in Premier League, they can go well, Inter are fantastic in Seri A but i want to see how they will appear in CL, Bayern is in crisis but is Bayern, but definitely not for title, Liverpool has a strong shirt. Arsenal they improoved last year but they are still loosers, not the team which they believe they are the best.
So it depends on Milan... let's take Celtic seriously and then i am sure that our players would be there... dont forget that's the last challenge for our players this year. When we lost against Ajax (Kluivert) we were awful though because Milan is a great team, we reach the final and we lost in details.

first time caller here,
really looking forward to the two games with milan.i was at the last game in the san siro and thought it was the best stadium and atmosphere apart from celtic park that i had been to.coming over for the return leg and hoping for as good a trip as last time(different score),don't forsee any trouble at all.eufa should let us have a full capacity stadium so we all can enjoy ourselves.

celtic/milan, we already have threads about this... please try to find them first under the UCL section before just openning a new one... I will have to merge them
I don't know who'll win the CL, but this is my prdiction for the 1/8:
Inter-Valencia: Valencia
Real-Bayern: Bayern
Milan-Celtic: Milan
Barca-Liverpool: Barca (a tricky one)
Roma- Lyon: 50/50
Man Unt- Lille: Man Unt
Arsenal-PSv: Arsenal
Chelsea-Porto: Chelsea

errrrr ~ you might find that the mighty Liverpool have won it two years running also!
But we would need a miracle to do it this May but you knever know???
Notingam Forrest won it twice in a row also.
Ajax and Bayern 3, Real 5....
I was about to post that Porto were 1 up ... but then Shevchenko equalised for them  Terry has been subbed already and replaced with Robben!
Barcelona are also winning even though Liverpool have been the better side in the opening 15 mins or so
It gets worse ... Inter are winning 1-0!!!!!! :yuck:

Cambiasso's goal for Inter was from a pretty clear offside - I didn't need a replay to see it but the linesman was :5drunk: ... or maybe he was just talking on his new cellphone :diablo:
Eurosport think it might have been over the line before it came back out
"On second inspection it may have been over the line when Canizares palmed it out. We will have to wait to see who Uefa give that to."
Which i guess if true means Cambiasso wasn't in an active position or whatever the terminology is these days.
Meanwhile, Essien is tearing around all over the place and Quaresma is diving frequently :rollani:
Just when i was about to get all angry at Bellamy for missing a chance to equalise he redeems the situation almost immediately and the golf club wielding welsh midget puts Liverpool all square (and deservedly so too)!!!!!!!! :gonova:

# 34 Morientes is elbowed in the face by Matterazi after an aerial challenge by the sideline, he goes down holding his head but the Italian international receives no caution.
#
# 39 Maicon takes a boot at David Silva while he is prone on the floor. Valencia get a free kick they waste, but Maicon is very lucky not to get a card - it could have been red!
#
# 7 Marchena goes down like he's been stabbed in the chest after a high boot from Cambiasso. He wins a free kick a third of the way into the Inter half but the set piece comes to nothing.

they gave it to Cambiasso, so I guess Ibra's effort wasn't judged to had crossed the line.
I'm glad you pointed that out King Tiger, i was about to do the same. Typical rough play from Inter, i hope they get caught out in the 2nd half! Dirty scoundrels :yuck:
I loved this bit though, also from Eurosport
"After Bellamy's goal he mimed a golf-swing - a gesture that one British bookmaker was offering 100/1 on him doing this morning. Somebody made some money on that!"
:rotfl:
Although he's been diving, Quaresma has been lively. But it seems Robben has been livelier still. How good would it be to have two exciting players like that in our squad, one in the side with Kaka and one on the bench ... minus the theatric diving of course :D

I don't know if you Jim have seen the goal but it may very well be given as a own goal for Valdes (Barca keeper) - I think it was either Alonso or Gerrard to cross the ball to bellamy and he headed the ball from a dif position straight into valdez' hands for a seemingly routine save. The barca keeper, however, was tracking back, slipped while trying to catch the ball and it slipped through his hands Valdez, trying to grab it, basically pulled the ball accross the goal line :googly:

Thanks Jim, never miss a oportunity to mock inter :D

Valdes should have palmed the ball away, instead of trying to catch it.
I've not seen the goal, but i heard it was a soft one to concede. I also heard Kuyt poked it home just to make certain. I'm not really bothered how it's gone in as long as it counts and Barcelone get knocked out :D

Seems the only match that isn't that much of a spectacle is Roma v Lyon and given the nature of the two teams i would have thought that match might have been quite entertaining. However that looks an even dirtier game than Inter v Valencia.
Quaresma is acting like too much of a baby for me to acknowledge his little tricks and flicks in this match. He's always complaining for a foul when there's absolutely nothing to look for.

we had him three years ago against Celtic and it was also a 0-0.

CL goalscorers:
57 Raul
48 RvN
45 Sheva
European goals (including uefa cup, super cup, CL qualification round and so on...):
62 Gerd Muller
58 Sheva and Raul

I was just thinking, wasn't it namely Bellamy and Rijse - Pool's heroes last night - who were involved in some sort of a heated argument that ended with Bellamy going at Rijse and threatening to hit him with a golf club?
yes Zlat, that's correct ... though no doubt the press possibly made more out of it than actually happened, though with Bellamy you never know. Dudek also had to be restrained from fighting and off duty policeman if you believe the stories and there were 12 others (15 in total) who were also fined for their behaviour (staying out late and having a drink not fighting or anything).

After losing Vieira for a month several days ago, today Inter have lost Cambiasso for a month as well.
This will definitely make their qualification for CL 1/8 finals even more difficult than it already was ... ad could give Roma some hope in the scudetto race too although 14 pts is quite some distance.

And on top of it - Valencia welcomes Baraja, Vicente and Del Horno back ;)
Albelda will be a big missing but Baraja can do the job.
Now they'll have Canizares at the goal, Miguel-Ayala-Albiol-Del Horno in defense, 4 out of these 6 (Angulo, Marchena, Baraja, Silva, Vicente, Joaquin) in midfield , and Morientes-Villa duo in attack.
Heh, i didn't follow La Liga much this season and i had no idea Valencia has such strong team.
Forza Valencia ! :devf:
P.S : Someone may disagree but Vieira and Cambiasso out is a hugeeeeeee blow for Inter.
Maybe they aren't so noticable during the match like Zlatan, Crespo, Stankovic or Figo, but they are the strongest part of Inter !
guess Inter will have to play Dacourt and maybe move Stankovic back to his original position as CM... or put Zanetti there...
Valencia does have a strong team, and remember they let go good players like Fabio Aurelio, Caneira, Aimar...

Milan will win the Champions League!!!
If we had Ronaldo maybe, now we will see.
Great games today. I'm watching Inter on a stream and Barca on TV.
Inter-Valencia is very very physical so far. Valencia has come out and they know how to interrupt the game......pretty much they are playing Italian style with plenty of small fouls although they have become rough as the game went on. I think Inter will squeze in a goal in the second half and progress.
Barca on the other hand is getting raped AGAIN. Liverpool hit two posts and has had over 10 shots on goal including many scoring opportunities, while Barca just looks very very average. If they continue like this in the second half I don't see how they can beat this impressive Liverpool team.
Roma is beating Lyon....:).......great stuff for Italian football but what surprized me is Porto leading at half time. haha I hope arrogant Mourinho shuts up this time for good. :grinser:
so is Lyon...
Liverpool and Roma advance...
minutes before Chelsea and Valencia can say the same

Shame about Chelsea turning it around and i wasn't really bothered about the other match. Lets hope we can progress against Celtic, i'm sure we can do it!
There was a brawl at the end of Valencia-Inter. What a shame, you just hate to see stuff like that happen. I need to see a replay before blaming anyone, but it looked like an Inter player was running and swinging at a Valencia player (didn't really see who exactly it was) and from there it just escalated. Really unprofessional.
It seems Inter are more concerned with starting fights than winning matches, i can't wait to see that on the highlights programme tonight and then to see how they get punished!
----We were the better side n both the legs...but when a Villa stikes a goal like the kind he did in the first game..we should realize it wont be our yr
We will come back stronger..next yr....like we do everytime..like every Interista knows..
Till then lets enjoy the Serie A and maybe the Coppa

Well three of my 5 goals are complete, we won against Chievo on the weekend , Barca is out, Inter is out, now I hope we win against Celtic and kick Inters ass on the weekend :)
Burdisso... and online reports say that Cambiasso was trying to get into Valencia's dressing room to throw more punches...
they're gonna get banned, or at least a severe sanction...

----We were the better side n both the legs...but when a Villa stikes a goal like the kind he did in the first game..we should realize it wont be our yr
We will come back stronger..next yr....like we do everytime..like every Interista knows..
Till then lets enjoy the Serie A and maybe the Coppa
---That's a bunch of sore losers. Burdisso, Cordoba, Cruz. ALL of em
---New year, same old story. A team filled with a bunch of punks.

This somehow reminds me of the chaos back in 2003-04. All the big teams were OUT at the same time, then Milan had this 3 goal cushion. So many people thought we already had No.7 (me included :()
We SHOULD NEVER underestimate any team. Let's take Celtics really serious and not be arrogant. :respect: No.7 is not really a remote dream, but we really need to play one game at a time. :diablo:
If only Chelsea lost too today. I heard that Robben's goal was due to a mistake by Porto's goalie?
Yup, the ball went under him, either under his arm when he was diving or his legs. Both ways it was such an easy save, more of a screw up than valdez against Bellamy in the first leg.

Yes, let's postpone all the fun until tomorrow. I am confident that we will win, but let't not be arrogant. Also, let's hope that our team (ancelotti and boys) don't get overwhelmed by the elimination of Barca, Inter and Lyon.

I was watching this match with an Interista collegue of mine. Materazzi had a mega chance and we all saw the ball in the net. He started screaming goooooooooooooal and i wish you could have seen his face when Valencia's defender cleared it from the line :)
And the best thing happened at the end. We weren't watching one match only but we found some German TV where they show 3-5 minutes of one match, then 3-5 minutes of another match and so they go for 90 minutes.
He was praying the next time they go to Valencia-Inter he'll see a goal. So, Barcelona match ended and they switched to Valencia.
There we see all Inter players running like crazy together. My heart stopped because i thought they scored in last minute. He started screaming gooooooooooooooooal.
And then we see all Inter players trying to catch one Valencia player to beat him :haha:

Didn't see Inter, though am pleased with their result. Roma seemed to do well and Chelsea made a good comeback after a poor first half.
Barca were terrible, really didn't deserve anything and were quite frankly lucky they didn't lose 3 or 4-0 against Liverpool. Benitez played the match perfectly though.

Now Mr. Platini, return the favour the former member of Inter Guido Rossi did to Juventus , please !
And imagine what Moratti says : He won't take official action against Valencia !!!!
What ????????
Valencia players start celebrating and Burdusso starts a fight with them. Maicon is practising kung-fu on one Valencia player. Toldo enters Valencia's locker room and starts fighting with them, with Cambiasso and Figo trying to do the same. And all of this after Inter was already warned by UEFA after what happened in 2005 against Milan.
And Moratti won't take actions against Valencia ?

nice hmm ?
I'm not sure what actually starts the brawl in the middle, but for Navarro to come along and break Burdisso's nose is unbelievable! I don't condone what happened but i can sort of understand why all those players suddenly went beserk. That's basically assault and should be punished as such and the guy should be banned from football for at least a year. Get tough with these idiots and maybe they'll learn, but then again he looks such a village idiot you'd be surprised if he can learn anything.
I loved how Ronaldinho was almost crying at one point, maybe if he actually did something in the game he'd of been in a happier mood. He did nothing, the few things he did do were down to luck and riccochets plus he should have score and couldn't get that right, Barcelone only scored due to a slip from Pennant on a wet pitch. They were lucky, dead lucky to walk away with a win, had the chances gone in Liverpool would have creamed them at least 6-1 and that's just the main chances they had. Watch the match and you'll see that's no exaggeration even from a biased source like me :D
Rijkaard was also bitter in the defeat which is a shame as i would have expected better from him. I would give him a glass of water to wash those sour grapes out of his mouth!
One good bit though were some of the Barcelona fans, they were great, even though they lost the tie when the stadium were in full voice they appreciated what a fantastic footballing sight it is and were recording it on their phones. Bravo to their appreciation and sportsmanship.
Mancini's goal was awesome and i'd rather see us go for him than Ronaldinho.

that goal from Mancini vs Lyon made me feel dizzy for a second, hehe,,,too bad for the Inter players that are gonna get punished for reacting the way they did, I would have probably done the same thing, I mean if you see someone punch one of your teammates and break his nose is only natural to lose your head, I just hope that the Valencia player gets a heavier punishment than cordoba and the other Inter players...on the other hand, I'm glad Inter is OUT, buhahaha...now hopefully real madrid will go down the same road today :devf:

the draw's tomorrow and a UEFA-related "bird" told me that will see these pairings:
Bayern - Roma
Liverpool - Valencia
Milan - ManU
Chelski - PSV
Milan have the best players of Europe but the players need to play what they really know and I think Ancelotti is ruining that players
That absolutly deffensive kind game isn´t so good
Celtic didn´t had a nice offensive player to decide the game but Milan's deffense can have problems to face players like Totti, Mancini, Jeffeson Farfán, Kuyt, Shevchenko and so on
Milan´s deffende players are really good but isn´t a great a idea to decide the game on the last minute of the game
Sometimes Kaká and other Milan's players goes to attack and just find Gilardino and Inzaghi with many deffensive players around they so there's no one to he pass the ball
If Milan wins the Champions League, will win because have fantastic players and don´t because have a good manager
Just to make it official and to say congrats to the Real Madrid trio also.

Unless he gets "1st" place, I think they are sacking him. Rumor even suggests that he will be sacked immediately after a possible loss against Barcelona this weekend. :grinser:
I have also heard that the Real Madrid Administration was really mad at him for not willing to resign - that would have saved them 15M euro, but Capello said "I will fight [for the money, obviously. :D]until the last minute; if you want to fire me, fire me." :grinser:

This is crazy. United is outplaying Roma, Roma have nothing, they're dead, they look like schoolboys and don't know what hit them. The english teams are playing really well in Europe this season... Milan have to play to their best to beat this United-team in the semi-finals.

contrary on predictions, I don't think manU will give much trouble to Milan as we know how to stifle such opposition ... I think tonight's result and play is more of a result to Roma's inexperience and maybe a little underestimation of the opponent on their side.
The problem for Milan would be making it to the SFs ... once we are there, I don't think ManU will oust us.

I see your point but there aren't many young players in this bayern side - players like Rensing and ottl played last game only because Kahn and Van Bommel were unavailable ... other than that, the only younger player who seems to have recently broken into Bayern's first team is Podolski (not counting Schweinsteiger as he's been around for some time now) ... all the rest are quite experienced players

contrary on predictions, I don't think manU will give much trouble to Milan as we know how to stifle such opposition ... I think tonight's result and play is more of a result to Roma's inexperience and maybe a little underestimation of the opponent on their side.
yep, roma would be a much bigger threat to us than this man united.

I'm not sure which players will be back for United for the semi's, but look at their team today. They're playing with O'Shea, Brown, Fletcher, Carrick and Smith! I'm shocked.
Roma are embarassing me, as a fan of italian football. Milan must win, for Milan and for Italy!

Roma and Milan know one another way too well from Serie A and with this year's record they have proven to be a very dif team for us ... obviously, however, they don't know how to neutralize manU tonight.
the way Roma's players are playing, I am pretty sure that Manu would be beating them even with 3-4 youth players in their side - players like Totti, mancini, mexes, and especially Chivu (who btw is having a horendous game at the back) seem to be burned out tonight ... maybe they wound themselves up a bit too much for their own good as they are shambles at OT.
btw, it's 4-0 already - CR scored after Chivu let him approach the goal and shoot undisturbed. Shocking performance by Roma ...

wow, 4-0, that is just embarrassing, it's up to Milan once again to represent Italy in Europe.
What a way to ruin my evening. I worked all day to relax and watch the football and for what? For a bunch of no hopers! Roma are so bad today it's shocking, how on earth are they second in serie A ??!! They are so laxidasical it's untrue, trying to play themselves out of trouble at the back, no hurrying, misplaced passes and too many players gone missing.
Doni was all over the place for the first two goals, poor defending on all of them to be honest. Mexes looks like he's punch drunk and Chivu looks like a fish gasping for water the way he's throwing himself all over the place without any thought. No marking, no concentration, no nothing. Roma could have won this tie (barring the most incredible of miracles) but they've only got themselves to blame.
Chivu is horrible..clearly outplayed by EVERY player he goes to mark. Horrible game by Roma, what a shame. De Rossi is the only decent player for Roma tonight.
Hopefully Chelsea is going out as well. Valencia is very solid tonight and are keeping things tight in the back. Villa and Morientes are combining great up front.

5-0...this is historic now
hahaha
this is as funny as it is sad!
What the hell is Chivu doing??? Sliding behind Smith and misses the ball totally. I don't even think he was looking at the ball. In the end...Ronaldo unmarked on the far post.

chelsea is the most OVERRATED team from the last 8. (and not only this year). Valencia is a great team btw.

6-0...nice goal by the English kid, that's twice he's done that today...I think Totti jinxed his team by putting club over country when he said that this game is more important that the World Cup Final

anything man unt does, seems to work.. now they'll get labeld as favorite for the cup, and thats whats gonna bring them down.. in the semis/final
hahahahahahaha :rotfl: 6-0!!!!!!!!!
Roma are a shambles, what an embaressment. I feel sorry for their real fans and not those thugs who go round causing trouble.
I wish Roma would play like this everytime we play them from now on :D
Be it Milan or Bayern I cannot see Manchester United getting past them.

great finish from de rossi. 6-1
De Rossi got one back, time for the come back to commence! :ilol:
On a more serious note, i hope something like this doesn't happen to us tomorrow.

I disagree. Manchester United is definitely one of the strongest teams in Europe and can beat anyone, the english teams are really strong and never give up. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best players in the world at the time, together with Kaka, and he can do wonders together with Giggs and Rooney...

I think ManU will beat Bayern but not Milan ... if Bayern makes it thru tomorrow, it will almost surely be an all-English final this year.

har har har if we go out tomorrow we won't be the only Italian side, still Roma being beat up like that should be a motivation to make it through to face Man Utd and show them how it's done... I don't believe we'll make it through tomorrow though... I give us a 10% chance max.
come on Valencia!!! Score a goal!!
I dont think United have the class of beating Milan or Bayern, they are both strong teams, much stronger than United.
come on Valencia!!! Score a goal!!
Its really frustrating, lol the only reason your supporting Valencia is because you know Liverpool cant beat Chelsea over 2 legs, but they might have a chance with Valencia.

man unt 7 - 1 as roma.
now its historical.. i dont think a team ever scored 7 goals in the late knockout stages..
Well....it's 7 and you can see the heart of Roma. De Rossi keeps on running......while Mancini gets beat and stays watching.

I think Lyon beat Werder 7-1 or 7-2 or something like that in a QF game like 2 years back.
this ManU-Roma game could be the one with the biggest margin at this stage of CL, though.
that's part of milancelotti ... the other part is i really dislike Chelsea and want them to lose ... but now they've scored in the last minute they're 99% through to the semi final
It'll be absolutely sickening to have a chelsea v man utd final :yuck: the thought makes me positively ill. To be fair i couldn't watch the 2nd half of the man utd match as clive tildsley (commentator) was just getting more and more pyscophantic by the second. I swear he'd probably start masterbating over them if he had the chance ... such an *ss licker!
I thought Monaco won a game 7-3 or something, where Prso scored 4 in one match.

I think that one was 8-3 vs Deportivo in Monaco but that was in the group stages, not the direct elimination phase

Liverpool hardly ever beat chelsea :( ... assuming they qualify :D
Say we did get to the final and Liverpool did progress, which would you prefer? Shevchenko playing and possibly scoring against us or playing Liverpool again?? :depress: What a horrid choice. I hate football at times!
