Looking that there's still people wondering what Materazzi told Zidane in the famous headbutt affaire, I've checked the videos a few time back and it's pretty clear what Materazzi told Zidane (in italian)..
I find even funny that few people among the media has been able to figure it out.
I won't report every line, but just the core.
Zidane and Materazzi had a contac near the box.
Zidane told (in italian) : " If you want my jersey, i will give it to you at the end of the match" ..
Materazzi: "F*ck Off"; then, after a while: "Give me your sister's one ".
Zidane watched him pissed off.
Materazzi: "Yes, that b*tch of your sister. I f*ck her in the *ss every night"
Then, Zidane hit Materazzi.
End of the story.
You will forgive the language. I have no video in front of me, so maybe there isn't every word said, but the most part is here.
I think media is just making stories of it :bri:
I just feel that Zidane hit Metarrazi bcoz He was fustrated, bcoz of 2 reasons:-
1-Metarrazi scored and brought Italia on equal terms, cancelling Zidanes goal
2-Just momenst b4 that incident Buffon produced 'the save of the WC' from 'the header of the WC' which Zidane thought will be the winner and he would lift the WC :pp20: Apart from Buffon, nobody could have saved that header. It was moving faster than the free kicks of Juninho and Roberto Carlos :uhm: So obviously it can make u furious :bri:
These 2 reason are good enough to fustrate any soccer player, specially the ones like Zidane who have powerful head ;)

I think Zidane is an idiot.
That is standard stuff on the football pitch, and Zidane fell for it. The ignominy is all his.

I respect Zidane, a great player, but a professional player should take an offence on the pitch as part of his job
He had nothing to prove - already a World Champion.
Thats how id like to retire from my work too!

Zidane was completeky wrong in what he did, bad influence for players who are up and comming. It was also ridiculous, actions are stronger then words, and if he really was a true champion, he wouldnt have reacted in that way.

i think zidan was wrong in what he did cuz his team and fans"like me" needed him that match ..but when it coms about materazzi i think he really Deserved it !!he's unprofessional player :mad:

Are you kidding me materazzi is a world class defender!!!! one of italys op defenders beside aa few others.... Sure he makes alot of bad choices, and makes some wrong comments, but there is no player that ever deserves to be hhit, soccer isnt a sport for hitting. Mayb zidane should try football or hockey?!
Materazzi is not a world class defender. He is not even a good player. He is able to contribute in the NT as complement for the other defenders (compensate Cannavaro's height, or play the left if Nesta plays the right, etc.)...
He should thank Nesta's injury that he had a couple minutes of glory in the WC.

Well yes if it wasnt for nestas injury he wouldnt have played much, maybe hes not such an effective player, but he gets involved which always contributes wether its in a good way or a bad one. For inter, he is very useful and missing him in the llineup is a problem with the lack of defenders we have.

Ok, he is world class defender and one of Italy's best, but he has a terraible personality and he has done an ugly action by swearing Zidan's sister :d55: . Zidan is Moslim and you dont understand how harsh to hear sth like that towards your sister, mother, wife, girl friend and so on to a Moslim, may be Zidan lost his temper and head butted him :respect: and was considered mistaken by some football fans, however, was it going to be the same if Zizou hit him in the street , I mean if you was playing football and some one said sth like what Materazzi said to Zizo to you, what are you going to do ? of course you want say ,oh thanks mate please give me some more!
I dont believe in turnning on the other cheek if some one offended me I will do offend him , and by the way according to your logic then Zizo has the right to head but him becasue he is much greater player :rolleyes: :rolleyes: .
Think of it carefully he is human after all and surelly would never let any one offend his sister while he is around, if you accept this to your sister then its your problem not his.
how can words from someone, especially matrix, offend you? Everyone knows his antic's and if you let him get you thrown out of a wc final, then you are a fool.
what do you think would hurt matrix more, a headbutt or losing the wc?
its being a professional and an adult. i dont think religion has anything to do with it. noone from any religion would like the hear someone insult his sister/mother ect.
now if they were any where else and such things were said, then i say beat the snot out him...not just a stupid headbutt to his chest.
i know it has been awhile since the headbutt-heard-around-the-world happened...but did zidane ever publically announce what materazzi said to him which he believed warranted such wrath?
btw, i can only imagine it must have been something quite mean for zidane to lose his cool that way

Zidan is maybe or maybe not a Muslim lol, but Zidane never showed any sign allowing anyone thinking he is a Muslim ... I'm even pretty sure he isn't a Muslim, so I don't see where you took your theory ? lol
In World Cup final, you can't become mad like that ...
And he knew Materazzi (I remember to some of you that Zidane played for Juventus !! lol) so he knew what to wait from Materazzi on the pitch !!
