Nope I'm afraid you are correct. Hard to keep faith when the odds are way out there already.

Parma is such a great team, isnt it? I totally agree with Nadir, 12 years old school kids would have played better than Parma side.
But on the other hand, when we played so terrible against Lecce, we have no right to blame Parma.

We have a motivation problem. We score and then we lose our discipline. We need a good coach to remain motivation.

After drawing this game, even if we were to count on Livorno winning at home next week we didnt do our part to keep the tables even. So now we have to hope for a win for Livorno and at least a tie against Cagliari. No I think we committed suicide today as far as the scudetto is concerned.

Kui, it is over man. While running up for scudetto, we should not lose CL cup. What we have to do by now is to concentrate for CL final and become the BEST team in Europa and being an unique team again dominating European Cups again.

I have to concede the title to Juventus. We didn't lose the scudetto when we played Juventus last week - we lost it when we tied to Brescia and lost to Siena. THAT was when the scudetto was thrown away. It was a terrible tragedy by Milan for them not to take advantage of Inter beating Juventus.

I agree but I will also add a number of other games when we threw away "easy" points - today vs Lecce, the game vs Messina at San Siro, the one vs Bologna at San Siro, BOTH games vs Livorno - a 2-2 draw in Milano and a 1-0 away loss. I am sorry to say it but these are not the results of a team that would win the Serie A. Better luck tomorrow, I guess.
Now let's gether ourselves together and win that 7th CL title.
Forza Milaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan !!!

I won't concede the scudetto yet, not until Juve have mathmatically won, BUT today we pretty much lost it.

2 games left and we need juve to lose both, not an impossibilty, but very close to being one.

We should now look to prepare for CL most of all, but try and beat Palermo and Udinese when the time comes, just in case a miracle occurs.

Shame it looks like we're not doing the double this year, but a CL trophy is still the greatest prize available to a club and so this season can still be a truly special season.

A CL trophy and runners up for Serie A ... 'tis a grand thing still

Yes am afraid it will be a bit hard for Milan to catch up now but even if the title goes to Turin this year ... Another heart stopping serie a season it has been

again, we didn't lose it in the lecce game. we lost it against brescia. i was watching that game with my jaw dropped as to how many chances Milan failed to take to finish that game at least 2-0 up and then Brescia tie the game. in all honesty, zlatanov is right - if we won the scudetto this year, we would have been really lucky because losing to messina and then failing to get results at a crucial stage of the season against siena and brescia really mean we are not scudetto material. the whole poiint of the scudetto is to reward teams who are consistently good, manage their fitness and are able to be versatile enough to match different teams and tactics. milan were not tha way this year in italy at alll. A large number of late late wins, for example, really show that this year they weren't able to wrap up games early and finish off the opposition.

But let me reserve my biggest criticism of the team this year for the attitude of the players. 1-0 up and the team things the game is wrapped up and they start making silly mistakes in the middle of the pitch. this was evident in the games against siena, PSV, brescia and Lecce to name a few. without an attitude adjustment that means playing 90 mins with your heart and not just 15-20 mins until a goal is scored, Milan will find it hard to win another scudetto next year.

That being said i am not afraid of the CL final. Milan are a team that knows finals well. Unless something horribly wrong happens, like a sudden drop in morale or bad tactical errors (like capello made against ajax in the 1995 final) i don't think Milan will walk away from istanbul empty handed. i don't think there is anything that can motivate a player more than playing in the CL final and milan is full of players that have played in finals.

Hah ... Juventus did the same thing at the beginning of the year ... 1-0 up and you start to defend with your life and in the end you get a draw instead

I slightly disagree regarding Brescia, I dont think Milan lost the Scudetto there for after that we were still level and it was still a tough call to make. But yes it was one of the games that should've been won.

Milan lost it at Brescia - hands down. They had 10 chances to wrap up that game but after Brescia tied, it was pretty much downhill from there. their morale was zapped, and they should have taken a 5 point by beating brescia and siena. instead they are behind juve now and they lost the title

after that pathetic display against Juve, Parma deserve to be relegated. They totally resigned to defeat even before the game started. I would love to see them rue the fact that they didn't even give Juve a glimmer of a fight. So unprofessional.

actually, I believe that Parma did try for 10-15 minutes before they gave up.

I would hate to see Parma relegated since I do like them a lot.

And I don't want to sound cold-blooded, but if that happens, can we get Gilardino for free? Is that true that once a team gets relegated, all the contracts could go void and thus all the current players can go for free? I heard this at least like 10 years ago, but it never gets officially confirmed.

some big name players put that in their contract but it's not true of ALL players. Some big names decide to stay and help out the relegated team - for example Batitusta stayed at Fiorentina even after they got relegated and helped them come back up to Serie A. it was true class and it would be almost impossible to find players with that level
.
