I actually think that Borri would have scored one of those chances Hunter had in the 2nd half

The fans, hahaha.

I mean, for real, before the season even begins, most of us would have be happy if Milan can get the following done
1. Make it to the knockout round of CL---DONE
2. Finish top 3 in the league in order for direct CL next year---Very Likely
3. Leo starts playing more young players in order to take over from the old guards---Done with Abate, Antonini, Borreillo and guys like De Vito, Verdi at the Coppa games.
4. Bring the right mentality to the players---Done.

Stop being greedy. The team is doing well beyond anyone expectations. Just remember that, nobody even us diehard fans expect this Milan team to win the league this year in Sept, 09.

the problem is just in management, if they didnt miserly we would bring some top players newdays, not players that were good in the past.

THE PROBLEM is, if we are doing well, such as our 2007 CL achieved with mainly veterans, the first thing we do is not reassess and build upon what we have, but instead renew every veterans contract....

When we are struggling (like when we finished fifth recently), instead of rebuilding with youth, we try the short-term solution....

Well, I guess it is MGT then.....

If we were Roma it would be greed. But for AC Milan to be ok with this is sad.

For a club of our stature yes it's very sad. But given our situation before this season and at the start of the season, few can really say it's been a bad season.

Well, not so long ago you said that this season we will surely get relegated...
Now being 2nd is sad for you

There is no team that can aim for scudetto every year, and say anything else than that is sad... especially taking into account that we are at the beginning of a new cycle and the transition went much better than most expected.

anyway cut it with the youth maximalism

Let me correct you. I did predict that AC Milan will do well, infect good enough to win something. I would have been 100% rite if it wasn't for some of the decisions of our inexperienced coach Leonardo. And mrki said, we are not AS Roma, Valencia or Arsenal. Its AC Milan we talking about. Plus we have Seedorf

Darn you Huntelaar and DIDA!!!! they were below average that night :/

As for Favalli, I suggest that he should leave the club

I am pretty sure being relegated is sad for him too. Even more so than being second.

The point is that being Milan, it is to be expected that we are seriously in the title race. At the moment, we are not really in the title race. There is somewhat of a chance, sure... but we are not in it for real.

That being said, we were darn close to opening it up right before the derby. But the derby showed us how much worse we are than our title-race-competitor.
