yeah Joe Pesci's great, but he meets a rather unpleasant end

A few more gangster-type films for you, they arent Italian gangsters though:

Carlito's Way - like an older version of Scarface, starring Pacino and Sean Penn with an Afro !

Heat - Pacino and De Niro play cops and robbers

Lock,Stock and Snatch - British gangster films by Guy Ritchie (borrowing Tarantino's style)

Chopper - an Aussie film, based on a true story and starring Eric Bana

The Long Good Friday - another British film from the 70's starring Bob Hoskins, its quite good.

The Usual Suspects - im not sure if this counts as a gangster film but its definately worth seeing anyway

ACMILAN1983 will become famous soon enough
I've seen too many movies lately to remember which, but I'll mention the last two I've seen in the last two days.

Accidental Spy, a Jackie Chan Hong Kong movie thats reasonably good and very much a Jackie Chan film.

The other was Versus. A Japanese film by Ryuhei Kitamura. Has great action and comedy, but is non-sensical plotwise.

I also saw Catch me if you can lately, good film.

Best movie: PLATOON
Tom Berenger as Sgt. Barnes is simply acting at its best. Unfortunately he didn't win best supporting actor Oscar in 1986, but was nominated.

YES! GOOD! VERY good movie! Christopher Walken is great in any movie. I love that man, he's a Genius, and he made some pretty funny SNL skits.

Please forgive me if these movies have already been mentioned, I saw the thread and thought it was very cool but I didn't have the time to read all 24 pages. My favorite movies of all time in no particular order are:

Pulp Fiction
Braveheart
Scarface
Goodfellas
Casino
Godfather 1, 2
A Few Good Men
Probably some more i just cant think of any right now.

and some classic comedies:
Dumb and Dumber
Tommy Boy
Black Sheep
Something about Mary
Rush Hour 1 and 2
Friday
