So many very interesting rumours coming out over the last few days.. Apparently we're in talks with Rui costa on whether we want to sign coentrao or david luiz, for around a 15-20mln price tag.. Also by thursday we wil decide between Lazzari or Van bommel , and we're linked with buying jucelie who will start playing in June, then Ganso is in milanello (apparently) read it on a few other forums too, and FINALLY apparently a 19 yr old striker who plays for Flamengo named Diego Mauricio http://www.milannews.it/?action=read&idnotizia=42670 who has been tipped as the next drogba and they call him Drogbinha may come as a return favor for our sale to them of ronaldinho..

THIS PART IS VERY IMPORTANT -
i was watching soccer report on fox hd and some old guy named gary or jerry something like that summarized ours and chelseas mercato.. i didnt stay and listen for the other big clubs such as inter barca etc, but apparently chelsea are willing to sell bosingwa and want to bring in neymar.. for us he said theirs a big possibility of david luiz coming in, and using van bommel as a temporary for a bigger midfield signing in June and the part that made me so happy especially with these rumors is that ganso is almost a milan player, hes also said the most likely striker to come in is caraciollo.. but who knows these mercato specialists i mean what do they do to guess these mercatos? do they just put all the rumors together or something..

However, I don't know why Flamengo is the most popular when they are not the most successful in Brazil (behind Palmeiras, Santos & Sao Paolo) and not the most successful in international competitions (behind Sao Paolo, Cruizero, Santos & Internacional). As I know, Rio de Janeiro has only about 16 millions inhabitants and 3 other big clubs: Vasco da Gama, Fluminense and Botafogo.

Before the unification of the(old) titles this last month by CBF, Flamengo was on of the most successful clubs in Brazil.

Also, in the final 70´s and early 80´s, when was more easy for people to follow football on radio, Flamengo was able to increase(ALOT) their fanbase at others Brazilian States. Radio Globo(AM) reached almost all of Brazil, and being a Rio based radio, they broadcasted a lot of Rio de Janeiro(Clubs) games. Thats not coincidence that when Flamengo, Vasco, Fluminense, Botafogo will play in the Northeast, North and Center-west of Brazil, in the majority of the times, they have more supportes at the stadium than the local teams. But not against my Bahia

Plus, in the early 80´s, Flamengo´s team lead by Zico, Junior, Leandro, Adílio and others won everything from Brazilian Championship, to Libertadores and World Club Championship. That was a amazing team to watch.

Ultimately, clubs like the big 4 of Rio, Corinthians, São Paulo, Palmeiras, Santos, Cruzeiro, Atletico MG, Gremo and Internacional all have national appeal. Thats the reason for the incrdible numbers of supporters.

Brazil is too big, and theres a lot of strong and big teams. Thats what make Brazilian Championship so hard to win(and predict), because every year you have a least 12 team with chances to become Champion...

This is very interesting, and perhaps more confusing than the week in which we bought Ibra and Robinho ( a very good week )

Yep, when I started to hype Jucilei here, not even Corinthians fans knew about him. Normally in my thread I would hold more to say that a player is for Milan, but we were out of money, and at that time it was clear Jucilei would be cheap and a WC player in the future. At least for me...

I will not hold my hopes high regarding Jucilei anymore, guys. Unlike Carlo and Leonardo, it appears Allegri is not a fan of Brazilin market like the last ones. Before someone jump at me saying I´m bashing our coach because of it, I want to make it clear that imo he has all the right to bring the players he´s more confortable. It´s not like I´m moaning he hates Brazilians, please... Back to my post, I just don´t see Allegri name tied to Brazilians players in the same way as our last 2 coaches... It´s always Galliani right now. I just hope we don´t bring players the coach doesn´t believe... it will be bad for us and the players.

Thanks for the infos, MM. Just to clarify, don´t believe in this Ganso in Milanello info(it´s a lie). Just now I saw him on TV, at Santos. The good thing he was mad at Santos management... really mad

Diego Mauricio is really called Drogbinha here, very funny nick, means "little Drogba". Imo too early to say what this player could be. Besides the power style, saw nothing to be impressed. Let´s see how he play for Brazil in Olympic Qualifier in January 16, since Flamengo was a mess last season and it was his first experience with first team.

No to Bosingwa(too injure prone) and a BIG NO to The Masters of Dirty, filthy, Van Bommel!! Arghhhhhhhhhh Let stop here before Reza send me a warning.

One more thing is being overlooked... Now we have a real adversary in Brazilian Market(Leo&Moratti duo). Remember that Berlusca burned many bridges here in Brazil. The good and paradoxal thing is that Leo success will make Berlusca spend more and more on Milan imo. He will not swallow Leo and Moratti spending and being successfull so, he will spend, too!!! Lol

It will not be easy to sway players away from Leo(I´m talking about Ganso, Jucilei...) here in Brazil like in the past. He´s really liked by every football people(President, directors, coaches, players) and it will be a war!!!

Well, for 2 mill i'd give bosingwa a shot.. but not if hes the only player were going to buy for our fullback problems, i agree it does worry me leo&moratti bcuz leo knows who to buy and moratti has usually been good to his coaches in their demands as far as buying players goes.. hopefully we can have a fullback or cb and a midfielder playing for us by the end of january and not june

Well, it is also not easy to take Brazilian player from Milan management's nose since we are already famous with Brazilian before Leo did something with transfer of Kaka, Pato and Silva. No one was unhappy as far as I remember since Carlo era, from Roque Junior until Dida. Milan's experience and good relationship with Brazilian players should play important role for young Brazilian players if offers come to them and one of the offers is from AC Milan.

About Allegri and Brazilian players, I think that he likes Brazilian players but they must be able to play as unit. Ronaldinho was his starter but failed to convince him in the later time due to the need of the team, to play 4-3-1-2 in which Ronaldinho must play in not his usual position and the position itself needs player that can bridge the midfield and forward, not only in the attacking duty but also defensive one, something that Ronaldinho was not that good at.´

The problem is if Allegri knows something about actual Brazilian players. It should be then Braida's job to convince Galliani to sign Brazilian players. The rest will be the use of players by Allegri. If Jucilei and Ganso come here, I am sure that both will start (if they can show that they have showed in Brazil).

I'm starting to think allegri really knows what hes doing.. i like the fact that he tries alot of different things in order to win - he saw r80 couldnt do what he needed so he began to play robinho.. see, leonardo didnt do this when boriello would fail or inzaghi wudnt be on his game etc etc he still never played huntelaar barely// u no i just always have this little bit of hate for boriello because i remember most games he would be id be so frustrated with how he could never do anything with the ball when he wasnt in the box

Allegri got much more options than Leo. Also, Dinho was great in most games, the problem is that Milan lacked someone to finish off Dinho's passes last season. When Dinho struggled last season, who can Leo calls to replace him?

Not too bad. But Abate and Boateng should be replaced in that lineup. Also Zambrotta, Inzaghi should be out of the squad.
