Don't know why, but I feel 2/3 of this schedule is going to happen !!
I feel the same way too. A certain Frenchman (not you, Geo ) seems to hate all Italian teams but one dirty Jube.

The ideal scenario would be GOOD vs BAD. So here is what the Ro16 should really look like:

Good vs Bad
AC Milan vs Manchester United
Bayern Munich vs Arsenal
Lyon vs Tottenham
Valencia vs Marseille
Chelsea vs Copenhagen
Schalke04 vs Real Madrid
Roma vs Shakhtar
Inter Milan vs Barcelona

Its such a shame that ACM fans are so scared of Barcelona. If any team can stop Barcelona, its the 3DM-ACM team. Gattuso, Ambro, Flamini & Prince will not allow Xavi & Iniesta to play & Ibrahimovic will score the winning goal Plus has any one observed the decline in Puyol's game recently? Barcelona is not unbeatable

I got your point, but I will be happier if we meet Schalke. We will kill one German chance to get their coefficients increased.

The draw is in 2 hours.... can't wait...

Chelsea, Man U, Spurs, Barca, Munich are the tougher ones, then there's Schalke and Shakhtar which would be nice to have...

In Milan's history, every time they faced Bayern Munich in the knock out phase and beat them, they went on to win the cup....I'm hoping for a Roma-Schalke, Milan-Munich, so we can kill off the Germans and stop them from extending that huge gap they have over us this year.

However it does seem that most Milanista believe we are going to get draw against Barca. Quite frankly, in my opinion, they are the only ones I would like to avoid. Even if we do get them, I don't think it's the end of the world. Despite Milan's poor record in Europe, we have been improving a great deal and been winning games while playing ugly, maybe we can hit top gear at February... I just hope Max Allegri's inexperience will hurt us as it has earlier during the year....

Can also someone confirm FOR SURE whether Cassano could play or not?

As far as I know - if a player plays in the Champions League qualifiers he is not allowed to play for any other team in the CL. However, I do not know what happens in the case the case of Cassano, who after playing in the CL went on to play in the Europa League with Samp. I know that a CL team can sign only one player from the Europa League in mid-season, but I am not sure how it works in Cassano's case.

not bad....but we have to watch out for their speed with Lennon & Bale...
if we close these 2 down, we should be safe

The good thing is that Milan have often bought players who have done well against them. So if Bale plays well...

Not bad at all

They're pretty prolific in scoring but have a tendency to concede almost just as many. Not that we have good records in the group stage but I'm confident that we can beat them.

No easy games in CL top 16. Hopefully Spurs' lack of experience in matches like these will haunt them. It could definitely have been a worse draw, at least on paper...

I'd rather we thrash him and pass on him ...
Bale could be a bigger test for Abate than Ronaldo was because he's in the form of his life & he'll stick to that side all match long (although i saw him switch positions with Lennon in the Chelsea match which i did not understand why)...if Abate survives that as well, i think he would have gone a looong way in proving that he deserves to be Milan's 1st choice RB.

2 things that are a huge plus for us: Redknapp & Gomes

I will take what it is. By February, hopefully Hotspurs has turned into some mediocre coldspurs.
