Who Wİll Be Our Next Defender?

Coluccİnİ Sİgned For Deportİvo And We Wİll Sİgn A Defender.but Who Wİll Be?chİvu Or Bonera?or Kompany
Kompany İs So Expensİve And İnter Wİll Sİgn Hİm.
Chİvu İs Fİrst Target, bonera İs Second.
Chİvu Costs Around 20 Mİllİon Euros And Bonera Costs At Most 10 Mİllİon Euros.
Chİvu İs Better Than Bonera.and Also Someone May Called Hİm As A İnjury Prone.İts Not Hİs Mİstake.İts Romas Medİcal Staffs Mİstake.
Bonera İs Not A Leader.chİvu İs A Great Leader.he İs The Only One Who Could Replace Paolo Maldİnİ İn My Opİnİon.
I Thİnk We Wİll Sİgn Chİvu And Costacurta And Maldİnİ Wİll Teach Everythİng To Chİvu.
I Lİke Zaccardo Very Much.he İs A Great Rİght Back.could He Be Cafus Replacement?i Dont Thİnk Zamparİnİ Wİll Sell Hİm.we Couldnt Fİnd A Better Replacement Than Zaccardo For Cafu?i Was So İmpressed Hİs Defensİve Skİlls.but Also Hİs Attackİng Skİlls.he Could Also Play As A Central Defender.
What Do You Thİnk About Chİvu,bonera And Zaccardo?i Need You Opİnİons.

I don't know what will happen on the defender front next season, except that it is likely that Jankulowski will join from Udine. If that happens I imagine that Kaladze will be his backup and that Pancaro will be moved out to the right (as a backup to Cafu).

One thing is for sure, I am glad we did not buy Mexes, like many people suggested last summer. That guy can play some truely horrible defending at times.

i expect to see them fielding kaladze in more of a central role from time to time from now on....he is versatile enough to do it and i think this may be in the works for them

Is Bonera any good? I haven't seen much of him. But people here were raving about Coloccini too a couple of seasons ago, and I did not find him very impressive.

That is a good point. Kaladze has certainly played in central postions before. If Ambrosini leaves, I imagine that he might move up to the central midfield

Given time, Coloccini would have been good for us. Although not spectacular, he showed he was a solid defender in Spain and i think it's a poor decision by Milan to have sold him, however i don't think he would have wanted to have been loaned out again. He made mistakes yes, but so would anyone else if you only had 3 or 4 games in the entire season to prove yourself.

Jankulovski is an obvious name to throw around and i think we may get cassetti/mesto too, i hope so at least as this will give us true attacking full-backs, which are vital to our game plan. Simic and Pancaro will probably go i think. As already mentioned Kaladze can cover centre-back if need be, while Maldini can be 3rd choice left-back and Stam can be 3rd choice right back (after Jankulovski & Kaladze and Cafu & Cassetti repectively).

A new centre-back ? It's a possibility, but while Costacurta is kicking around he's always going to be used before most new defenders, unless it's someone like Chivu or Samuel, 2 transfers that i don't see happening. Although Walter would be great

I dont think we will get a defender who is currently playing in Serie A. If you ask me I think we might pick someone up either from the North or Eastern part of Europe. The bargains are most likely there for some players who are at the same ability as guys like chivu or bonera at half the cost. This is just a theory of mine. That's all.

I would like to see Chivu but there will be competition for his signature.
I think Mexes could be an option in a year or two as well.
Don't rate Bonera as highly as most people

If we are talking about a replacement for Maldini, then look no further, as we've already bought him, Alessandro Nesta.

However, Milan will almost surely not just look for bargains once Maldini retires.

Milan will splash all out so I pretty much expect a big name to come in when the #3 is gone.

I really excpect that Galliani wont sleep during following summer like he did last one...

My first choice would be Bonera... the second ... well I am not sure that we should be in hurry searching for defenders while our attacking side scares of new blood.

Kompany to inter? maybe but what are your sources?

do you think bonera and Chivu would come cheap or cheaper than Kompany?
