giamberini was the one who hit sheva on his face which resulted in shevas absence for such a long time

there are many young defenders on sale............
i think chivu or samuel is the best choice; alex is also a good option(although its virtually impossible).
while im not 100% sure about kompany......... i havent heard much of him this season- but we'll see........ anderlecht will be meeting Clubb Brügge: one of the best teams of belgium. lets see how he plays.

so either samuel or chivu................ not sure which one

Samuel would be a good signing depending on price. Real Madrid are pretty unrealistic in their valuations of their own players though and probably see him worth about 14m, which he's not. Realistically he is worth at most 10m, I think he's be a good deal for milan at 8m.

Seen Samuel have far too many bad games to want him at Milan. Besides, we have enough central defenders. Its no good younger ones coming to milan if they arent going to play anyway.

In a year or 2, if Chivu can stay injury free he would be ideal.

Chivu would also look bad playing for this Real Madrid.

agree, the awful period Samuel had, and it is still not over, shouldn't be used against him - we all know what he can do in defence. I wouldn't be surprised to see them both come to Milan within the next 2 years for by then we would have lost both Maldini and Stam and there isn't hell of a choice of great defenders out there.
Jankulovski couldn't be seriously considered a defender for he is very much like Serginho - great forward but exactly a wall at the back. In certain games vs weaker teams he could be used at left back but that's about it - he just isn't made to be a defender and would be a waste of tallent to play him there.

Not exactly informative. Actually the rest are some of the best choices around for a defender.
First of all, the player who hit Sheva played not for Bologna but Cagliari and his name was Loria, I think, and definitely not Gamberini who playes for Bologna.
Gamberini is having a wonderful season and is still 23 and is considered one for the near future of the Italian national Team. He does have the potential to be shaped into a truely solid, maybe even great, central defender. Whether it will happen or not, I can't say but the potential is there.
Motta, is about 18-19 years of age and plays for the U21 national team as a right back and has some very very good crossing abilities. He is pretty quick too. He also has a lot of potential but is a bit too young to speak of anything more right now. He is yet to win a regular place with Atalanta but he does have the potential to become a Milan quality player. Again, whether it will happen is speculative, at least at this point.

ur right... but i remember giamberini causing an injury to sheva... and i think it was when he went in hard with his foot hanging out which ended up hitting shevas knee which resulted in his absence for some time... plus it deserved a penalty

I actually happen to like Samuel a lot though he is prone to some ludicrous tackles on his behalf ... other than that he is quite able

I've always liked Kuffour too, think hes very reliable. Sadly his daughter died a few years ago

I have also been impressed by Jorge Andrade, but i don't see him coming to Milan, we should'nt have let Coloccini leave.

Samuel while in Roma was regarded as one of the best in the biz, and I still believe he is one of the top Central Backs in the world. I think he would be a very nice addition to Milan.

He would; latest news on Samuel is that Juventus might sell Emerson to RM and get Samuel as part of the deal

Load of bollocks though
