watched Roma - Lazio tonight, even though Lazio lost i was impressed by Oddo, hes crosses and tackles were good, i think he could settle in to our current team very well......

i agree... i gave my opiion on him on the reviellere thread... i said that he was better in the first half... i think hes not very fit, which can be solved given the difference in training by milan and lazio ... his crosses are verrrrry good... and hes the best in defending out of the available options (maybe revelliere is better)

we should follow very closely a most probable regular for the Italian NT. Oddo is quality upfront and very solid back.

oddo coud indeed be really quality soution at the RB. He is rossonero in his heart and will not cost us that much. The problem is,he should be here right now.

I agree that Oddo has very good games. He is from our school, but he is now 29.Another young player would be much better to sign with Milan. If he come free-yes,but to pay many for him it will be mistake.

It will be much better.I think that Mancini is a new Cafu. The way he play, the way he looks.Cafu is a legend, but Mancini has his chance to be new star.

But Mancini can't defend, his defensive skills are minimal

Yea, Mancini is like the clone of Cafu except about 15 years younger...
He's great at sparking attacks, but i agree waht Jim UK said about his defensive skills. I watched all of Lazio-Roma, and he was not a defensive factor at all in the game, I rarely saw him defend. So I wouldn't be to eager about getting him.

Do you think that Oddo will fit in to Milan well?

Mancini is great, but he fits better as a winger than RB. Even in his better season in Brazil(as Rb), he played without defensive responsabilities.
I just can´t see Mancini(or Cicinho) playing at RB without some tactical adaptations. Like an Gattuso in 80% of the time in cover.
But if you want a brazilian sucessor for Cafu at RB position, he´s playing in Sevilla, Daniel Alves.
IMO Oddo fit in our team.

Sometimes in the transfer threads i don't get this logic . YOUNGER IS BETTER? Not always.

Oddo is at his peak, it's the "pret a porter" article, and already well travelled with the italian tactics. Plus, an Italian International starter, solid both defensively and upfront. He'd come cheap. What should we look for? Hyped names?
